Useless tools that don't care

It seems like every item they sell on their website is always out of stock . Took an entire season to get my guns . One was damaged when it arrived (looks like the floor model was shoved into a box and shipped at full price . Their customer service is a feekin joke .. always excuses and " it's out of stock" ... Good luck getting a manager . My entire airsoft league hates them and would rather pay full price a so not to deal with them . My advice is to skip theses guys even though they have cheap guns ... In the end you would have to pay yourself full time wages to keep these clowns in order to get your product. Worst shop ever. Promoting a boycott on these guys. Freeking joke of a company

Would Not Recommend!

I placed a large order for several TOPS USA knives totaling about 3K USD in early January, after a few weeks they shipped me four knives and said the rest were out of stock. I never could get anyone to respond via the Web Site query OR answer the phone. I had to initiate a chargeback thru my credit card company for the 2K they owe me.

I know they are dealing with CoVid, but they have had Customer Service issues for three years according to various rating sites.

Do Your Research Before Ordering

Two items ordered, over a week to ship them. Obviously they reorder from a 3rd party. Finally recd after 3 weeks however only half the order was correct.

Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get thru. They advised to send pictures. That was done and after a week and 3 more emails asking for a response I got a one liner email back saying to return the items at my expense and then they would send the correct items, no nameme or other contact information was contained in the email.

For a $25 item it would end up costing me $18 in shipping and over 2 months of waiting. Not worth my time or money in the hopes they would get it right the second time.

Fortunately my order was small so it was a cheap lesson to do more research before ordering. Even the BBB have them flagged for the same issues that are evident in all of these negative reviews.

They are scammers

They are scammers, I ordered 300 dollars online, can’t contact anyone there and they don’t respond to there emails.

I currently received what I ordered and…

I currently received what I ordered and it was exactly as I wanted. I’d ordered an item that was no longer produced and I paid through PayPal. I received a PayPal receipt straight away but didn’t have anything back from hero outdoors ie an order confirmation shipping details Or an email .after a few days a checked the reviews here and got rather worried so I tryed contact through PayPal but still heard nothing eventually I got a shipping confirmation and a week later it arrived in perfect condition. It would of been helpful to receive info along the wait but all was good in the end and very pleased with them. There was an app for tracking that was offered when I was checking out which probably would of helped me if I clicked on it.I would use them again and next time just be more patient

I recommend not using Hero Outdoors

I recommend not using Hero Outdoors. I had a pretty bad experience ordering a $180 knife from them. When it finally came, it came without the sheath that it should come with. It was just wrapped in cardboard. The communication is not strong and they are not transparent about their business.

Worst of the worst!

Nothing on their website is in stock. lf it's not in the store, then it's dropped ship. There are no name brand knives in stock!!! There is also no over stock warehouse. Just one of the many lies they tell there waiting customers. All online sales are final so deal at your own risk.

Scammers

They are scammers. They take your money and never ship your items. They are also impossible to contact as they do not answer emails and there phone appears to be disconnected. The only communication you get from them is the occasional replies to the bad reviews, attempting to defend themselves. They should absolutely be sued and put out of business.

Let's sue the company

Anyone who is victimized by these unscrupulous company should band together to file a class action lawsuit aside from involving the RCMP or OPP. Let's put these scroundels out of business for good and send the owners to jail. If you are interested lets get rolling, these scammers must be put to where it rightfully belong behind bars.

Disgracefull fraud

Disgracefull fraud. I ordered gun and parts for 1100 dollars ment for my kids for christmas. Herooutdoors almost instantly withdrew my money. And only afterwards told me that what I had ordered was not in stock. Then offered me something different and more expensive. I then cancelled my entire order. Since then, I have heard nothing from them at all. No responmse. I now have no money and no gun or parts.

Hit And Miss

I ordered a Benchmade Knife and didn't hear back for weeks. I had to phone my credit card company to start a claim. Then two weeks later I received the knife in the mail. Never did get an email from them. One star for actually getting the knife 6 weeks later.

3rd time buying from them, won't be the last

Ordered items not in stock October 3, received full order October 25. Seems Canada Post is already feeling the Christmas rush and started delivering on weekends. I paid in store after getting a hands on feel for the revolver, opted for 6 inch over the 4. Accessories were ordered as well. This is my third time ordering and frequently stop by to see what's new. Always welcomed and accommodated. Will buy from them again in a heartbeat.

People

People, please do your homework and shop elsewhere. You don't know if its stock, you wait for fulfillment details, and wait and wait and then it arrives and its not what you thought you were buying. THey got their money fast and all I got was frustration.

Terrible place to shop and terrible customer service... All the stuff marked in stock is definitely not in stock. I've been waiting over 4 months for my stuff and haven't heard a peep from them. I want my parts or my money!!!

Buyers beware

Buyers beware.Do not order online from this business. I ordered a knife. A week later I tried to cancel the order because I found it at another merchant that was much cheaper and ordered it from them. lve tried to contact them by phone. I honestly don't know why this place even has a phone number because they never answer it. On top of that they have not responded to my numerous emails. They just went ahead and sent me a shipping notice. I'm not even going to try and return it. Fortunately a friend is going to by it from me if it arrives. I will never purchase anything from this business ever.

Customer service -10 out of 10. No respond, no communication. I had to fill claim through PayPal in order to receive my money back.

I ordered a paintball gun

I ordered a paintball gun. Simple enough. Two months later I still had not received anything. I sent e-mails with no response. I finally got through and was told the did not stock it. My choice was another gun or my money back. I wanted that particular gun as I had already purchased spare mags and the odd size ammo for it. Now I have mags and ammo but no gun. Poor customer service. The item is still on their web site for sale even though they do not have it.

Misrepresentation, poor communication

Exactly what others are saying - falsely claim many items are in stock, charge your card, and source from third parties. In this instance my order was not in stock at their Canadian or US warehouse. Instead of informing me of this issue they went ahead and sourced from a supplier in Europe. Three weeks now without my order and I had to reach out to them multiple times (email, phone) to get details. Had I known all of this I wouldn't have ordered. Now fighting to get refund. Hero lost another customer.
