My rating says it all…

I spent around 2 hours in CRADLEY trying to find a road called Finchers Corner, I asked numerous residents with everyone saying they had not heard of it.

After nearly 2 hours I asked a lady who looked on her phone to no avail, then she asked me to follow her back out onto the main road and up to another junction which she turned into, she said I think it might be here and left, I drove a short distance and noticed a road with no name, I went down and knocked on doors with a man saying he knows the person I was after and gave the number, second go and the door opened and it was the person.

What ignored me was the fact the Council had not put name signs on it, I complained to them and as usual no reply and a fob of, NOT A VERY GOOD COUNCIL.

Sorry got my facts wrong, it’s NOT this Council but HEREFORD COUNTY COUNCIL, Apologies for my error.

DSocial services look after kids I don't think so I had one of there children the social worker k is totally rubbish because we voiced the child they are total bullies we going through this ordeal but k is a disgrace and accepting gift voucher for Christmas and yes over 10 pound

Apsolutey the most disgusting vile corrupt council in the uk
Anti disabled their safe guarding is mon existent
Break every law going when comes to disabled or vunerable children
Needs to be looked into and shut down

What do you actually do linked to highways basic maintenance. Clearly not a lot as you only have to manage contracts and you aren't even able to ensure that the basics are completed (keeping the kerbside and drainage clear of debris). For just highways maintenance £100 million of tax payers was allocated for 2025/2026 and the basic maintenance isn't even being performed, yet along any improvements to the ageing highways infrastructure. The money must be going somewhere though, but not where its supposed to and there is no independent auditor to audit any spends.

I feel I have been betrayed by my own home county .. I feel hertfordshire county council mainly and Hertfordshire police and social services for my home county of hertfordshire not just betrayed me but let me down by not protecting me as a child as a teenager and as a vulnerable young adult when I faced utter hell as a child as a teenager and as a adult when I want answers they refuse to give me answers so now there’s more questions than answers now .. and Hertfordshire police have caused a lot of heartache and hurt too .. but there betrayel to my past experiences… hertfordshire county council made it clear that they will no longer communicate with me on my subject I want answers too so it shows they don’t care but sweep it under the carpet like hertfordshire police do too lots of bad cops there and council workers that I no longer at all trust or respect,.. Hertfordshire county council have caused nothing more then heartache and pain …

Regarding herts pension. She listened so well and was super helpful and thorough with the explanation. Showed good care and empathy.

I have been raising the same issues for over a year, both on my mother’s behalf and as her primary carer, yet my complaints have never been properly escalated and have repeatedly been treated as new complaints. Requests for reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 were ignored, and only reluctantly addressed after I pressed the matter a second time or more.

The manager, Richard Stenhouse, and the Council’s legal team have failed to provide the support and services required, including essential care provisions and other necessary services, leaving me in a position where my responsibilities as a carer have been undermined and obstructed, causing significant stress and affecting my and my mothers health including physical injury to her Hip.

Their handling of my case demonstrates clear discrimination, including taking advantage of my mental health and dyslexia, failing to make reasonable adjustments, and showing disregard for their legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and care act.

I have now fully exhausted the Council’s complaints process and have initiated the Pre-Action Protocol under the Civil Procedure Rules. Given the Council’s repeated failures and obstruction, this is now a matter for the courts to address.

This experience highlights a concerning pattern in which Hertfordshire County Council’s Adult Care managers and legal teams, led by Richard Stenhouse, fail to treat vulnerable individuals and their carers with fairness, respect, or accountability, effectively discriminating against those who rely on their services.

I must express my deep frustration with Hertfordshire Council. I urgently need to transfer my daughter, and it has now been an entire week of going in circles. Each time I contact the Council, I am told I must apply through the website. I do so, only to be told in return that I should contact the schools directly. When I contact the schools, however, I am informed that none of them have any places available.

I honestly do not understand this process. I recently moved from Horsham, where the Council there was efficient and genuinely helpful — everything worked smoothly. In stark contrast, I have been here just one week, and I am already caught up in this endless back-and-forth.

At this point, I do not know what else to do, and I find the situation utterly exasperating.

WSe are absolutely devastated that we purchased a house in a cut de sac and pay high council tax every month without fail and to Broxb our Council too, and the wall from our road and the main road went down in storms in. November and been left without a wall. No one will take responsibility not even proprietors of the wall. We have contacted our local MP and he hasn't been able to help us. We have exhausted all avenues and tried so hard with letters constant phone calls , we are so ill and sick to think that they came to us when it went down com plaining about our wall which had been weakened by their wall. We were ordered an d threatened to knock our wall down and Reb build it and we are elderly pensioners had to rebuild our wall so did our neighbour opposite. But still nothing n o response from them at all. We feel we are on a building site now for over 7 months. Who do we turn to n ow?? we have tried everything. T^his is disgusting all they do is the roads that don t n need doing yet they won't rebuild the wall. We are in desperation its mad us ill. Please help us if anyone e out there can.Tried Alice Beer on Tv programme This morning but nothing yet. This is absolutely disgraceful . Please someone help us if you can .

On 13 November 2024 the council issued a Stage 2 investigation relating to my complaint that it failed to provide advance signage of a major road closure on the M1 motorway Watford exit. This directly added over 30 minutes of delays to me and hundreds of motorists. The council's investigator claimed there was such signage, but was unable to provide proof. Following a Freedom of Information enquiry, the council's own highways team admitted no such signage existed. When I provided the investigator with this evidence and asked for comment, none has been received. Draw your own conclusions on the independence or otherwise of this council's approach to complaints.

Asked for help from the adult disability team and I’ve been waiting several months for just a copy of my report and all I get is we are sorting it but yet my OT is always apparently ill or on annual leave never in the office, the deputy manager same thing but just annual leave and the manager does not listen when your report the issue or ask for a new OT they say they want to help but don’t offer the services they say they do and have caused more harm on my mental health than they have helping me with my mobility issues they are rude and take advantage of your medical requirements and do not meet my needs and the do not have procedures in place to support this needs

I've been directed to you by broxbourne council regarding constant time consuming roadworks in my area , I live in dahlia Close and work in Enfield and am getting sick of constant roadworks , this week alone no matter what way I drive roadworks, the ones on Cuffley hill must be near 2 months and all they seem to do is dig up 1 side finish it then back to the other side then back again the delays and traffic in peak times are horrendous , I continually have to leave a lot earlier to just make sure am on time , please sort this on going issue it's beyond a joke

This council is inefficient,for want of a word,if they can pass the buck so to speak they will.try to talk a dept but you have to leeave your message with the tel operator who passes it on,and if you get a response your lucky esp if the response is within 3 days.Ask to fill in pot holes but didnt why?i get told there not deep enough.Overgrown trees blocking pathways or roofs,they send you standard letter that some are not in their criteria after they have assesed the problem,BUT they dont access the problem because they never came down to see the problem unless its like tree blocking road ,or something more serious.Health and Safety .dont think they know the meaning of the word.customer services ,joke...worse council i have ever come across,ive seen them come down repair a hole in road ,few weeks later there back to repair same hole,then few more weeks it repeats itself as i saw where i live a return visit 5 times to carry out same job,plenty of workmen 2.maybe 3 working rest standing about.This council i feel has taken on more work than they can handle EFFICIENTLY,they need to be looked into dept by dept esp highways...they dont even read some e mails you send if you need to reply,if they do sometimes you get the wrong answer.

Effing Stinking Skunks - and that is being polite..... The whole bunch of stinking waste services dpt and Especially the head of STREET SCENE & WASTE SERVICES.....someone called Ian Kershaw..... his attitude stinks for miles……so really he is at the right job…..

Their transport plan for buses is obviously not working.
Our village has lost 80% of it's bus timetable. We now only get 6 buses (3 each way) and nothing at the weekend. On the first day of the new timetable, 2 of the 6 buses didn't turn up.

They talk a good game but are basically incompetent. They should all just resign and let people that care take over.

The first one to cause all our troubles was Hemali Gangani, she lied and lied which started the other SW having to lie and cover her back .

A high percentage of social workers are lying in their reports that goes unchallenged by the judge, because the secrecy of a 60 year old outdated law of private court means the corruption goes unchallenged.
How can you challenge the system when it's the system who you have to complain to.
Social Services are making huge mistakes and being allowed to lie, act corrupt because they need to meet their target of adoption, then their full budget is paid. In doing this they are legally allowed to take children illegally because they are not held accountable.
Not every child in the system is an unloved or mistreated child, some children you are offering up like a piece of meat in this advertisement were taken due to social services lies or corruption. The corruption that is hidden behind the privacy of family court. The same family court that are rushing cases through without considering evidence of corruption by social services that is presented by families because family courts are inundated with the increasing amount of cases social services have brought to them.
A high percentage of adopted children are being returned to the system because Social Services lied to adoption parents, claiming children have an illness such as autism when they in fact have drink or drugs withdrawal.
Not all social workers are corrupt liars and there are some who are in the job for the love of helping those children that really do need help , but the ones who are not corrupt are having their profession compromised because they feel obligated to protect their colleagues.
Foster parents are waiting ages for financial, physical or practical support for the children and a higher percentage are deciding not to foster anymore out of frustration from no support.
If you do not believe what I wrote,then please read the secret Social worker book. A book written by a social worker who could take no more of the corruption, so she whistled then left the job.
If you don't believe me , why have the number of complaints for each LA area risen dramatically.
Why will they not provide some of the money spent on fostering to support parents/ grandparents ? Why pour money into private foster care companies instead of using it to educate some of the parents ??
If they are not corrupt why will no one investigate them , why will they not reform a 60 year old law and open up a private court system into a public one that fits a modern day society? Lots of illegal criminal activity being commited by these people and the abduction of children for profit-child trafficking

You hear about Labour councilors resigning because of Starmer but you do wish these Councilors would resign for the lack of giving anything back to the community.
All they seem to do is take take take, just look at the state of the roads, schools, lighting, crime, i could go on and on, Hertfordshire used to be so nice but those days are long gone, do us all a favour and give someone else a chance. You all lack any integrity.
