PC GunGum been sacked yet? His attitude towards the public is not professional at all. Shouldn't be in a Police role.

Enjoyed the efficiency and brave effort…
Enjoyed the efficiency and brave effort 👌 of police forces very professional and helpful and grateful for the police punishment to the criminal justice done bravo very powerful and very efficient service and a handsome model for police jobs and amazing people incredible hulk I believe that the hemel police should be recruited for their services for helping Ukraine against Russian military and putin and putin will surrender in seconds as they don't have steel ball and advance training and technical support and skill to conquer Moscow
Very efficient and professional think tanks female brains OMG lol been to different places but there is nothing better than the hemel hempstead 3rd chtime escaped a narrow shave thanks to the dacorum hemel authority but we just have to respect it and let everyone else safe and happy except ourselves as I have no human rights and I am an alien I feel like a royal person who has been given a royal protocol and executive service with escorts and persecco five star luxury services and I am just wondering why the government is wasting too much money on the safety and welfare for hertfordshire but hats off to the hertfordshire heroes and I will be throwing out the party and every year remembrance day and gadiscuss with the official to give medals and huge bonuses for their efforts and
achievement award for the outstanding talent of the courage and dedication to the hemel police and wish they should not stop here and let the hemel crime free friendly and safe for everyone but I was always be a lover of the hemel hempstead police and parking authorities and I believe that the UK should have been learned from the police and dacorum council policy for their credibility and I have no words to explain the prosperous town centre and magic round about as this is the best place for police efficiency and efforts and they have strong limbs and highly skilled people who can help the Scotland yard team 😀 👍 keep it up
UTTERLY CORRUPT AND COULDN'T CARE LESS!
Talked to a call handler who was actually a p.c. concerning harassment of myself by my social landlord which had been and continues to make me feel very ill and with very disturbed sleep because of this. I was dissatisfied with the call handler's dealing with the situation which included me telling him I didn't think he should be in the police force and told him i want to make a complaint about him. He didn't seem bothered about me complaining and I think I found out the reason why. His supervisor subsequently phoned me which rapidly progressed to a missed call while I was trying to answer it with the phone in front of me, followed almost immediately by a voicemail referring to the missed call. Rang 101 after listening to the voicemail. That call handler made arrangements for me to receive another callback. Again not enough time to answer the call with the phone in front of me, as before, and again followed by another rapidly generated voicemail! In both cases the voicemail messages were very short and difficult to understand with the second at very deficient volume until about half way in and both were accompanied by loud extraneous noises which sounded like loud wind noise both times, but I would think this supervisor would be working inside the police headquarters at Welwyn? Very obvious after the second missed call, both times with the phone in front of me, that this supervisor obviously couldn't care less by such conduct and had obviously not been making anything that would count as a genuine attempt to make contact with me but had just been going through the motions both times for long enough just to establish the recording of a missed call both times! Rang 101 again after that and spoke to another call handler and told her what had happened and said that I had no faith, trust or confidence in Hertfordshire police and that there was obviously no point in complaining based on what had happened, and asked for my complaint to be cancelled, which she did! (Update 24/03/25: Thought I needed to ring 101 again as my health and ability to sleep has been more compromised than I thought and hoped because of the conduct of my bad social landlord towards me, meaning my phones have been turned off also more than I thought and envisaged, meaning I thought I might have missed a call or calls from the police in consequence of this. Had problems with two of their call handler's this afternoon who were not sufficiently empathetic, patient and again obviously couldn't care less, with the seccond of them actually blaming me for the difficulty saying, 'he had tried to engage with me but ..', and told me he was ending the call then and did! The first one was unimpressed with my saying I am going to make a bad review on Trustpilot telling me to, 'do what I like! On the third call a female sounding voice answered and dealt with my request for a message to be forwarded to whoever would be dealing with my case having told me this has not yet been allocated. I can hardly believe as a seventy three year old just how unacceptably bad the conduct of Hertfordshire Police is! Not noted above before in wanting to protect that particular call handler's identity as I do now, but I did actually find an entirely satisfactory, even excellent in all respects situation with the third call handler, and we had a short but meaningful, and obviously agreed on and empathized on both sides dialogue about the wrongs within Hertfordshire Police! You can unfortunately see that in spite of that one excellent experience how and why my overall assessment reflected in the heading of this review and the score I have allocated still remains completely valid!)
Something rotten - No moral compass
I’m 84 years old. Male. I was in Lister with a broken hip. And they just chucked me about from trolley to bed screaming. In all 7 times. That is most violent assault of a most vulnerable person. Amazed I survived. Lister, the Ombudsman and many others just kicked my most genuine complaints into the long grass. So as it was assault I visited the police in Stevenage - who said, “We don’t go into hospitals”. They are supposed to keep people safe. So I put a formal complaint to the police - it went quiet for too long so I complained to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) - who presumably commissions crimes. (And to IOPC).
Wholly patronising response from the PCC telling me to go to the Ombudsman.
Please, read the Herts police complaints web entry. It reads like a straight translation from the KGB handbook. It’s all TELL, TELL, TELL. And don’t you dare make a complaint about us. We’ll show you how we deal with complaints - don’t bother.
I’ve lived in Herts for most of my life, and thought it was a green and pleasant land. Not any more, I don’t. Shakespeare said: there’s something rotten in the state of Denmark. I suspect he’d never been to Hertfordshire. In effect, the police in Herts collude with the management of Lister to cover up the abuse of vulnerable elderly people. And of course they have the power to do it and they do cover it up.
I believe they have never read the guidance published by the College of Policing on the matter of ethical policing. Nor have they read the Nolan principles for those in public service. These are: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership. What next?
There are lots of decent people working in Herts police. But their policy makers are letting down vulnerable elderly people on many levels - as well as the decent folk working for the police. If you’re elderly, don’t tangle with them. They’ll let you down. They play Pic-‘n-mix with what they choose to do. They don’t do damaged elderly in hospital.
Disgrace.
There is a web site (IOPC) which sets out the rules governing the interaction between PCC and the police service. It’s so wooly it can mean anything you want it to mean. Another disgrace.
Would you believe the PCC is accountable to a committee of County Councillors. Names published on the web. I’ve tried to contact some of them. No replies. Do they exist? And the Clerk to this committee takes it upon himself to reject complaints so that the minutes record no complaints. Dear Vladimir in Moscow would take this as a move in the right direction. Something rotten? You decide.
They think that because I’m 84 I was born yesterday.
Date of experience - May’23 to March ‘25 ongoing.
Amazing thank you
Wow! What can I say. Our car was stolen early hours of this morning. It was found within an hour. Can't fault the police in tracking it and communication with us through the whole procedure. This goes out to Bedforshire Police if you were involved too! It was very distressing to our family, but they were excellent. Many criticise the police but they were impeccable this morning and remained with our car until we retrieved it and we as a family want to thank you. Note to you thieves You can't hide and you won't win! Shame on you!
Useless.
There are Useless.
Bullied by an aggressive driver in his BMW, sent video footage and stills shots to Hert Police and they said:
"Dear Sir / Madam
With reference to your Road Traffic complaint, we are not in a position to prosecute this offence.
The report was appointed to a Digital Evidence Team Investigator. They have reviewed the initial report, digital evidence and all other available evidence.
Please be aware, we are unable to enter into discussions on individual cases, please accept this as our final decision.
Although action is not being taken on this occasion, please be assured our goal is to take every opportunity we can to influence future behaviour of wayward road users. Please do not be discouraged from re-engaging with us with any future matters as we appreciate you playing your part in helping to make our roads safer."
The camera doesn't lie, they have all the evidence they need.
What a waste of time and as for not being discouraged in future, I can't be bothered.
I've lived in Hertford for two years and have only seen the Police here once. Drivers do what they like here, mopeds ride down one-way streets and pavements and the Police do nothing in Hertford because they are never about.
Now and then we see a PCSO, but that's also a waste of time and they have no powers anyway.
Lawless Hertford because the Police fail to Police.

They're ok
They're ok, did their best. At least they identified themselves whereas some other uk forces fail to do so and are deliberately evasive.

I had some £60 aftershave taken from anytime fitness Letchworth. They have 24 hour CCTV, which I can't access due to data protection. So I filled a 101 form out. Said they would contact me. A week later, I get a letter from Hertfordshire constabulary and from Beacon saying there has been a investigation gone on and there is no likely hood of getting my property back. Case closed. Not once did they contact the gym. I contacted head office at the anytime fitness and explained my situation. Within 1 day I had my aftershave back. The police can't or won't investigate things like this but will say they have. You have to take things into your own hands now, because if you rely on Hertfordshire constabulary you might as well just write your property of. But they took the time to send me fancy letters telling me they have investigated the matter. I wouldn't bother in future, just take matters into my own hands and get it sorted.
