I always have nothing but good things to say about Mistr. When I have a question about something, I message them via my profile on the website and get a response usually within 24 hours. When it’s tim... See more

Save your life, secure your future and stop HIV.
This place helps saves lives. So I’m gonna give them the respect and grace they deserve and earn. They have provided me, free of charge, meds that could possibly save me from contracting HIV and even spreading this disease. PEP and PrEP is not a cure all type medicine. PrEp greatly reduces the transfer of HIV from an infected to a non infected when taken accordingly. Over 99% effective when taken at least 21 days in a row. Not to be confused with a condom. Which is a contraceptive that protects against HIV as well as many common STIs. A better way to safeguard yourself is condom and PrEP together. And PEP is for when you have unprotected sex with a partner that may have or does have HIV, needle sharing or accidental stick or sexual assault and if taken within 24 hours up to 72 hours using PEP greatly reduces the risk of infection. Key difference is that PrEP is proactive and is taken everyday. While PEP is reactive and is taken after possible exposure. PrEP is long term use and PEP is short term use up to 28 days.
Having said all of that. When you start the sign up process with MISTR at first they are overzealous and extra friendly. When you go through the application process there are three departments within MISTR that you must comply with in order to receive your meds. The three departments are doctor, pharmacy and customer support. The doc is always the easiest and friendliest to deal with. The pharmacy helps once doc writes your script. And they seem to be outsourced depending on the time of day you call or email. Communication can be fragmented and miscommunication can happen easily. So, be clear with you questions and ask for clarity before ending your correspondence. Now customer support is on another level. Meaning they say and do what they want. They can leave you hanging, ignore you, help you if they want, or send you back in the system in a never ending loop. For me, they have no care to help you get or not get PrEP and PEP. It was like, “here is what I’m gonna help you with! Next!!” I found it very very difficult to work with customer support. So much that I felt they hindered me along the process and at least several times made me feel like quitting the process. I even messaged them or my concerns and worries that they were not helping me be proactive and save myself from contracting HIV but kept getting the same treatment and lackadaisical approach. Often times duplicating steps for me, or requiring me to get a step done but finding out that I didn’t need to do this step and never needed to. Often times given misinformation and a lot of miscommunication that resulted in confusion. I had to ask pharmacy and doctor to reach out to support on my behalf to get me moving along the process.
I don’t wanna make it seem like my experience will be yours. Just a heads up only. If you have a similar experience directly reach out to doc or pharmacy for further support. In the end. We are all here to prevent the spread of HIV and most importantly, to not contract it. So, stay optimistic and keep plugging away along the MISTR application process until you get your meds. Congrats on saving your life and others.
Review of Mistr
Review of Mistr: Free Online Prep and Doxy PEP Service
As a free online service providing access to PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), Mistr offers an invaluable resource for those seeking HIV prevention options. The platform is designed to make access to these important treatments easier, especially for individuals who might face barriers to traditional healthcare.
Key Features:
Accessibility: One of Mistr's strongest points is the ability to access PrEP and doxy PEP treatments remotely. This is especially helpful for people living in areas where healthcare resources are limited or for those who prefer the convenience of online consultations.
Free Service: Mistr provides these services at no cost, which is crucial for many individuals who may not have insurance or are unable to afford regular doctor visits. This makes it a fantastic resource for those who need these medications but struggle with healthcare affordability.
Ease of Use: The online platform is user-friendly, making it easy to book consultations, receive prescriptions, and access necessary support. The process is streamlined and straightforward, with step-by-step instructions to help users understand how to access treatment safely.
Confidentiality: Mistr takes privacy seriously, ensuring that users’ health information is kept confidential. The online platform provides a secure way to manage your health without feeling judged or stigmatized.
Educational Resources: In addition to providing access to medications, Mistr offers helpful educational content to inform users about HIV prevention, safe sexual practices, and the importance of adherence to PrEP or doxy PEP.
Areas for Improvement:
Limited Availability: While Mistr is a great option, it may not yet be available in all regions or countries. Expanding access to more locations would be a welcome improvement, especially in areas with higher rates of HIV.
Follow-up Support: Though Mistr does a great job of providing initial access, more emphasis on follow-up care or support could enhance the service. For example, reminders for medication refills or follow-up health checks could be beneficial for users.
Conclusion:
Mistr is a much-needed service in the realm of HIV prevention. Its free, accessible, and user-friendly platform provides an essential lifeline for those who need PrEP or doxy PEP but may not have easy access to traditional healthcare. The service’s convenience and affordability make it an invaluable resource, and I look forward to seeing it expand in the future.
Have been using MISTR for a little over two years.
I’ve been using MISTR for a little over two years now. Their staff and services are top tier! I would recommend them to anyone who takes their status seriously. I’m beyond pleased and hope they’re here to stay for the long run.
Getting Prep and Doxy Pep are always…
Getting Prep and Doxy Pep are always easy and perfect with HeyMistr. Their customer service is also very helpful on every step to get them. Thank you.
MISTR has been a great experience all…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Let me make this extremely clear..Mistr is horrible
Let me make this extremely clear: your company is actively endangering my health. I am writing to document and formally escalate months of incompetence, delay, and disorganization on your part, and to let you know that legal action is already being prepared.
Today is March 24th. I just received my SECOND bottle of PrEP.
Let that sink in.
I should have had:
Bottle 1 in January
Bottle 2 in February
Bottle 3 in March
This is not an optional guideline—it’s your own 3-month system. After bottle 3, you send a testing kit, we renew the labs, and the process continues. Instead, I have had to chase this medication like it’s some luxury perk instead of basic preventative care.
This isn't “unfortunate.” This is gross medical negligence.
Here’s a small sample of the chaos your company has caused:
Repeated pharmacy delays with no communication
Support team blaming Dr. Chet, while he says he has “no access” to prescription logistics
Walgreens waiting for you to sign off—for weeks
YOU telling me to “request daily updates” like I work here. Do you plan to issue me a W-2 for doing YOUR job?
And don’t act like this is just a little glitch in the system. This is a pattern, and the public deserves to know. You want proof? I have every single message saved from March 13 to March 24. You can scroll through the chat yourself and read the humiliating, infuriating back-and-forth. You’ll see:
I’ve been left without meds
I’ve been misled repeatedly
I've been told to wait, then told I should follow up daily
I’ve received canned, dismissive replies instead of action
Meanwhile, your company is out here filming commercials with OnlyFans models and drag queens, pumping marketing money into aesthetic over substance. Cute for a Pride Month campaign. Not cute when your actual patients are suffering. You can hire pretty faces, but you can’t sign a prescription refill? You can shoot TikToks, but can’t send a bottle of PrEP on time?
Even Dr. Chet Tharpe, the doctor assigned to me, has expressed that he doesn’t have the tools to help because your departments don’t communicate. That’s beyond dangerous. If a doctor has no ability to ensure his own patients get their medication—what the hell is the point of this platform?
And don’t even get me started on the insurance issue.
Once I got coverage, things got even worse. I was getting pills FASTER with no insurance at all. What kind of upside-down system is this?
Let me be clear:
I have submitted formal complaints to the Better Business Bureau, FCC, AMBS, and NGLCC.
My legal counsel is involved and has reviewed the timeline and communication thread.
If this continues, I will go to the media and share everything—including screenshots, pharmacy messages, and your rep’s suggestion that my account be closed after I rightfully expressed frustration. That’s retaliation, and it’s unacceptable.
This is not “poor service.” This is medical discrimination, neglect, and a total lack of professional responsibility. And if you think I’m exaggerating—just ask yourselves why so many reviews on TrustPilot echo this exact experience. This is systemic.
Here’s what I expect, immediately:
A direct phone call from someone at your leadership team who has authority and can fix this without passing the buck.
A guaranteed fulfillment of my medication on the proper cycle from this point forward.
A full investigation into why this has taken MONTHS to resolve.
Confirmation that my test kit is being shipped ASAP, as I’m now nearing the end of the (delayed) second bottle.
Don’t reply with “We understand.” You don’t.
Don’t reply with “We’re escalating.” You already said that—nothing happened.
Don’t ask for more time. You’ve had plenty.
Fix this. Or I’ll make it very public.
Prep
I have been using Mistr for 2 years and enjoy it . Very professional and always keeping me updated on refills and appointments. Never had any issues with them at all . I would recommend them for all your Prep needs .
MISTR ROCKS OVER DOC VISITS
MISTR has made my Prep experience much simpler since I switched almost 2 years ago from my local doctor’s office. I love how on top of my refills they are, and I love even more that I don’t have to go to my doctor every 3 months for a needle blood draw. Handling the testing on my own, in the privacy and comfort (AND CONVENIENCE) of my own home, has been the highlight of this experience. I will forever recommend MISTR any time I discuss my Prep planning with someone.
Mistr definitely had things to improve!
If you think Mistr will make getting Prep easy, think again!
I’m selected the option to get my prep for free through the Gilead Advancing Access program. It’s been a headache every time because I have to coordinate separately through mistr and gilead. When I started mistr my understanding was that mistr helped in coordinating everything. That is definitely not the case!
Incompetent employees that never get…
Incompetent employees that never get your prescriptions. Or paperwork processed in time will leave you hanging for weeks to months at a time with lapses in medication putting your life at risk.
Got my meds timely at no cost!
I have been using this service for around 5 months. There were two issues. 1 the labs sent in had to be redone and 2 the pharmacy coverage had to be worked out before there was no cost. I have been getting my meds timely.
Seems Fraudulent After My Experience
Took an at-home test, but the shipping service MISTR chose didn't get the tests to the lab quick enough to be valid. Had to go get tests in person after that. Got Rx, but the MISTR pharmacy decided not to process through my Rx insurance (even though my insurance approved payment of the Rx). After a week of back and worth over that (now a month into the process), MISTR offers to send Rx to a local pharmacy. Several days later they claim the pharmacy doesn't exist. I sent images of the physical pharmacy and screenshots of all of the pharmacy contact information from the pharmacy's website. MISTR is still dragging their feet going into the 2nd month. I don't recommend this service unless you are rich enough to pay out of pocket (seems like that's their goal) or have no other options for STD care.
Fast, easy. Smooth discreet
This process was fast. Simple, discrete. Everything was smooth and the instructions video was on point lol. Md was nice but the visit was fast though, Almost a bit rushed. Write questions down and take the time to ask them,
Reliable and secure
I've been using Mistr for about a year now. They're extremely well organized, and are available to answer your questions and get you in touch with your provider if needed. They do a good job with discreet packaging and keeping products free of cost.
The company delivers as promised , and they are very responsive to questions and or issues.
The company delivers as promise, and if you have a question or an issue, they are easy to reach and our great on response time.
Great access to PrEP
The company is doing what they claim to do. I’ve been getting my meds, if I have questions I ask through the website and have gotten responses.
There’s not an app so you don’t receive notifications. You get an email when you have a message, sometimes those can go in your junk folder so you do have to check that.
I wish that if you use the option to go to the lab to get your tests done that you could also get the anal and oral swabs. So if I wanted those tests I either have to set those up on my own with an urgent care or my primary physician, or I can do the at home tests. But other than not having a more modern notification system and more flexible testing, this is a pretty great program.
Easy and Great
Easiest and best thing to do for yourself
have loved my experience with them and the pharmacy they use to ship my prescription. idk if they could make it any easier for us!
Been with them about 5 months now and…
Been with them about 5 months now and haven’t had any issues. The whole process has run pretty seamlessly for me.
The Providers
The Providers, Dr. Patrick Kenney, Infectious Diseas
the doctors could not care less about you …. The dude showed up 30 minutes late to our initial appointment …. It was short and dismissive , I was talking to him about my concern and he didn’t even address my question , the visit was less then 5 min …. Because I could tell he had somewhere else to be, and I , my visit was an inconvenience to him. I keep messaging him and have have not heard back from him an entire month … I gave two stars because the people working where Hey MISTR is based at DAP Health are very attentive because this work is their passion ….
