Ho many times have you seen the advert to purchase a Brazilian Tree on social media. The advert shows a little toy sitting on a top of a log surrounded by leaves and flowers, with the comment that it only needs water and claim that it is good for the environment.
In reality, I purchased the Brazilian Tree. When it arrived, it was just a small piece of trunk. I followed the instructions and five months later, it is still just a piece of trunk. No flowers, leaf or anything. I contacted the company and asked for a replacement. A replacement tree was declined and an offer of 10% compensation was made which turns out at £3.33p, which was an insult and I declined. Later, I was sent a email to a website to choose a gift as compensation. When I did that, I received another email stating that as time has gone on, I will not receive the compensation gift and they have closed the case. In short, I spent £33 for the company to send me a useless piece of tree
