Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Bought a car from HGreg. Had the deal complete with invoice, insurance and a certified check. Communicated everyday for a week. One hour before my flight to pick up the car, the GM from the Tampa store took the car from the Orlando store and sold it. Very unprofessional of the management at HGreg. I would think twice before doing business with this poorly run company with zero morals.

They sold me a used 2020 Ford Mustang for about new price. Carfax showed one accident that they assured me was repaired. A few months after buying I was rear ended on the highway and now the insurance company won’t fix it due to the EXTENSIVE hidden damage in the rear due to it NOT being repaired previously. Extremely dishonest scam artists. Also tried to tell me I HAD to buy a warranty until I pushed back on how that was illegal then the woman lied to my face saying she didn’t say that when she literally did a moment earlier.

Better Off Buying from a National Car Dealer - Not Someone Like HGregg

We just purchased a 2019 Ford F150 Limited from HGregg in Brandon, FL. The vehicle, after warranty and tax, was $60,000. They did agree to buff out the surface scratches, but when we brought the truck back after a 2 week vacation and asked them to fix the automatic running board, they said no. We have a warranty and it will be covered... under a $100 deductible. If it was a Ford dealer, I'm sure they would have done it just to keep our business for service and new purchases. We are also still waiting on MSRP original sticker, 51 point check and last oil change. The sales manager was useless and the salesman didn't bother going the extra step after the sale. I will never buy from a company like this one again!

At closing the finance agent put the Gap insurance on when I told him no. I should have waked out then. he said after paying it off they would send me a refund. Now after paying off the car . I have been waiting for 8 months. No refund, dishonestly in their words and actions.

Been in communication for a car that my wife really liked, right color said it available. For the past three weeks we have been talking with them. Even texting yesterday and this morning to confirm. We drove 10 hours from Atlanta, GA, just to find out that we were communicating withA person in the sales call center who did not even let them know that we were coming in today. Also there is a problem with the car and they saying that they are not going to sell it. My wife is so heartbroken right now she is in tears!! The service here was unacceptable with the most they can say is sorry these thing happen. And that’s after we sat there for 40 more minutes. So here it is we are out of 22 hours 3 tanks of gas and I could not tell you how many tolls, just because they don’t communicate with each other. My advice find a better car dealership that knows what they are doing, and let’s all stop paying for bad service!! SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK

Buyer Beware (HGreg Nissan of Delray)

Buyer Beware (HGreg Nissan of Delray)
I inquired about getting an appraisal for my Nissan lease that I desired to have them buy back rather than turn in. This was the third dealership I went to. The others were willing to give me a price to purchase the vehicle then have me enter a new deal by getting me into a finance.
I was immediately met with “We don’t do that.” Rather than appraise my car, offer me some options for new or used vehicles like everyone else did, the sales person continued to explain to me that I can’t sell a leased vehicle because I dont own the vehicle. Clearly understanding this, I expected them to throw some options my way, say they would work something out with me to gain a customer. I know for a fact that my lease is worth more than the payoff. I understand that a Nissan dealer is the only one that can buy me out of my lease. I also understand that new Nissan’s are hard to come by and have a long waiting period. This isn’t my first rodeo and I have been doing my due diligence for weeks. All of this was explained to me from the two previously genuine dealerships I had just come from. HGreg Nissan of Delray continued to ask why I didn’t go with the other guys. Hmmmmm. Maybe because I am entitled to go with the best deal? I’m an educated consumer who refuses to get taken by a dishonest dealership. They also told me that they didn’t want to do the “leg work” so that I go to another dealer. They wanted me to take all offers to them so they can go from there. 👀
I’m sorry but if you aren’t willing to do 5 min of punching in numbers on a computer for thousands of dollars in profit, there is a real problem. They simply don’t want or need my business. They insisted that they wouldn’t offer me one penny over what my lease payoff was so I thanked them kindly and left never to return again. I guess when you are a dealership in a wealthy neighborhood, you can go around and treat customers like garbage. Not me! ✌🏼

Watch Out

Watch out for the “lady” Pam that works in the title department at HGreg Orlando she likes to entertain and sleep with married men on the clock. If your documents are delayed this is why.

Overall experience was a bad one

Overall experience was a bad one. From sales to maintenance the customer experience at Hhgreg Doral leaves a lot to be desired. The sales process wasn’t that bad, I knew what I could afford and what I wanted, so I dug in my heels. The financing was a nightmare, after spending hours going over numbers, they couldn’t meet my numbers with their financing. I decided to go my own way through my bank, thats when their customer service started to deteriorate. After buying one of their used vehicles, I then had to deal with their service department. If I thought their financing dept was a nightmare, I was in for a rude awakening with their service department. There is no way to get in touch with them, they never call you back. i had to wait for an entire week for them to service my vehicle (yes, I had to leave the newly bought vehicle with them for a whole week) and if it wasn’t for me having to call repeatedly, I would have gotten my vehicle in double the time. The parts they were servicing were all standard stock and not Fiat specific parts, which is what I would expect. They also lost one of the panels on the driver side of the vehicle after they had serviced the steering shaft. After 2 weeks of calling and leaving messages to see if I can get my panel back, I had to drive to their Medley location to see if I could speak with someone. The service rep just said they would cal me back to make an appointment to put back the panel, but they never called. I had to call the main center (Doral) for them to investigate, they told me a sales manager would be calling me about the missing panel, but no one from Hhgreg has called me. In short my experience has been a really bad one, I would not recommend this place.

I changed my 2016 Cayenne to 2019 Cayenne S.
At home my wife noticed strange voice and because HGreg ditn’t gave any warranty I went to Braman Porsche.
The car is covered with Porsche warranty. At Braman they noticed that left side front wheel was fasten with four bolts only. The reason was that the thread was damaged and therefore it was impossible to fasten the 5th bolt. Braman repaired the thread and fasten the wheel with five bolts.
The invoice was 515, which I paid. I send the inveice to HGreg and the comment was “why you didn’t bring the car to their service”.

Okay here we go

Okay here we go. First let me start by saying my sales lady was awesome and no issues there. In fact that was the only pleasant side of HGreg. I bought a Tundra on Sunday night. Left it at home all day Monday. Took it to the tint shop Tuesday to get the window fix as the existing tint was peeling off. Got off of work and went to the gym. After leaving the gym I got into the truck and started it and the engine shut off. This happened for over 15 minutes, could not keep the truck running at all. finally I got it to started long enough to make it to the dealer and ask for my trade as well as my check. Please be careful with buying anything from this dealer. My friends at the credit union warned me not to buy anything from Hgreg but the price was really yummy. I guess the old saying that goes "you get what you paid for" is still true today. STAY AWAY FROM HGREG. Horrible experience, plus my Carfax stated no accident but after seeing the vehicle in the sun I notice the doors were freshly painted which tells me someone made repairs on this vehicle. 2014 Red limited tundra with 70xxx miles. Again don't be fool. I hope my experience will save at least one person from being taken advantage of.

I bought a BMW in October of 2018

I bought a BMW in October of 2018. I did not know that BMW's do not have a spare but have run flat tires. Hgreg sold me the car with regular tires; I ended up having to get run flats which cost me about $900. But the real reason for my rating is that I bought a warranty which was for 5 years or 60,000 miles. I assumed that this meant 60,000 miles over the 21,000 that was on the car; in fact, this is what the finance person told me. I paid a alot for the coverage but figured that these cars are expensive to maintain so this would be a good investment. I found out today that the coverage was for 0 to 60,000 miles, meaning if I drove under 8,000 miles per year it would last until 10/23. So in the end I paid for a warranty that lasted less than 3 years and 3 months. I would never have bought the warranty if I had known this and I am sure there are others who have had the same problem. I will NEVER buy a car from HGreg again. Very disceptive people.

IHgreg in Brandon

I visited Hgreg in Brandon, Florida after driving by. I arrived at about 10:30 AM with no intention of buying a vehicle. I had recently cancelled a deal with Vroom because they would not tell me the truth. I expected the same type of treatment at Hgreg. Oh, was I pleasantly surprised! I met with Kevin, who explained the process and went with me on a test drive. I walked out, no DROVE OUT, in a very nice Ram 1500 pickup! I was very impressed! My trade in was appraised, deal was processed and financing done rather expeditiously. Don't know where people are finding these bad things to say but I believe I was treated fairly and got the truck I wanted! Thanks, Kevin, Nick and Luis!

STOP DONT BUY

STOP! DON’T SHOP!! BUYER BEWARE! Hgregg.com is a nightmare! Add $1700.00 on to any price you see! Do not purchase online cars with Hgreg.com! Refer to TrustPilot.com for numerous Hgreg.com 1-star reviews! Outrageously high hidden dealer fees,
The car we purchased a 2017 Sonic was horribly represented. The exterior had more dings and dents of witch never showed up in a single photo, the car smelled like dead fish, 1 key only, no manuals. Way to many major hidden defects, untrained salespeople, long phone waits, no call backs or follow up and horrible service – and that’s just before they take your money. This is by far the worst purchasing experience I have ever had in my life. Hgreg.com what a scam!

Shady & Fraudulent

I visited, my local hgreg in Palmetto Bay FL after hearing so many good things about them. Test drove a few cars and kept in contact. After about 2 weeks i made the decision to get a vehicle I had test driven, the price online was 19998 and i figured at about 1800 with tags title and their fees I'd be in my loan for about 21k. 10 o'clock in signing paperwork and everything looks good. A month later it hits my credit as a 28k balance and I'm like how? I put down 7k. Turns out their dealer fees, and other bs ate up my down payment and it's like i didn't put any money down at all. Stepped into the dealership complaining and figured out the paperwork was missing and potentially had been forged because the papers i physically signed said nothing about my loan balance being 28k because i would have never. They gave me the run around acted so concerned and sent me a $250 check to cover a rental after they sold me a dirty car with roaches. I'm appalled ag their lack of customer concern and shady practices. Never again.

ONLINE "PRICE" IS A TOTAL SCAM!!

ONLINE "PRICE" IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! All of these online sellers pad their prices with BS fees, but at about $1,400, HGreg is the worst I have encountered. They brag about being non-negotiable as if that is a virtue. And they claim to be much further below "blue book" than they are. These are NOT the registration fees and title fees that you must also pay. These are purely this dealer not being honest about what you will actually pay. They are not trustworthy. All of these glowing reviews are from buyers who probably paid too much. No wonder the seller seemed so friendly.

I am not gonna buy any cars from this place. They barely giving you a good service once the car is sold. I was asking for the exact part number which I have to replace. The seller was acting, upon his incompetence to provide such thing, presumptuously as I was in default. Dealer should be able to provide such information.

Do not trust them or car they are selling

I bought a 2017 Honda Coupe 4/2018. It only had 2068 miles on it and you call it new. My son in law who is a body shop manager saw the car and said "Dad this car has been wrecked. I said no it only has 200 miles how can that be possible. Now 2021 and trying to trade it in at another reputable dealership. Found out car had structural damage in 12/2017. Went to trade it in and the value was 5K less than offered when they ran the carfax. I had no idea as I did not ask for a Carfax as I thought with 2000 miles what could have possibly gone wrong? They a slick and not to be trusted. Lesson learned. Go to a REAL dealership
