Reassuring to know the Solar Panel industry has such governance

From start to finish Aira were great, especially the everyone that completed the install. Very professional, neat and tidy work. Everything arrived on the morningnof fitting, with the fitters arriving just after, then al site rubbish cleared prior to leaving. Great thank you!

The company l used seemed to be very efficient and their installation team were very good and explained every process as he went. The company itself was very helpful in accomodating our needs and time of installation, the customer service was very good and informative .
Although the cost was higher than my previous quotes by other suppliers the quality of the product meets our needs to a tee and after fitting the customer service are available at the end of the phone even weekends, l would recommend this company because at the end of the day you only get what you pay for and going down the cheap route doesn't always work . So we're more than happy that the system we had fitted will work for us and any problems all we need to do is give them a call.

Reassurance that payments and installation are insured by a third party and if there were any disputes they would be rosolved independently.

Not had a a good experience - the scheme is not what it promises. Paid a deposit with a HIES accredited installer, who went out of business, contacted HIES but turns out the deposit was not registered with them even though there were months between my payment and the bankruptcy. Seems like HIES does not actually check whether HIES installers register the deposits promptly, doesn't look like adequate safeguards are in place in the scheme.

My Installer talked through the options, listened to my questions and gave further answers to help me decide upon the best route. The fact that there is an insurance backed guarantee is a bonus.

Decided to investigate solar panels on the house due to an EDF promotion. Process ran very smoothly from start to finish, design, costing, survey, all regulatory requirements dealt with, installation and migration to the new tariff went without a hitch. Great communications, all on-site contacts really professional, Very Impressive. Thank You.

Roof panel installers were expected to clear up after themselves .....dropping cigarette ends was not acceptable
Electrical engineers were mannerly, neat and competent

Solar is a big investment with a slow return - Optimising is important and also having the assurance, just in case something goes wrong. HIES gives you that assurance and ensures compliance with standards. Really important that the job goes rights and stays right. In simple terms, "they have got your back".

Staff member had to take leave, but nobody delegated to take his work, leading to ten day delay in removing scaffolding after install. Install team excellent, most efficient. People collecting scaffold did not have a good attitude, and scattered cable ties over neighbours fence.

Carbon Energy Savings T/A Lime was keen to communicate and explain everything. Installation was quick and effortless as far as the customer was concerned, Follow up enquiries were dealt with swiftly by helpful staff, by phone or remotely.

It was great & quick to be fitted but I’m still trying to organise getting money back from electricity given back
