After first receiving one of Tamsin’s incredible portraits of our family dogs, we’ve been returning ever since. We’ve commissioned her to create beautiful portraits of our beloved pets, as well as gifts for friends and family. Every single piece is always perfect and captures our pets beautifully - it’s truly amazing! I’m sure we’ll be back again for portraits of any future pets!

I couldn’t think what to get my Sister for her 50th until I seen some of Tamsins work at another Friend’s house… My Sister had recently lost her dog - so I got Tamsin to do a portrait of her and Molly her dog… I will never forget my Sisters face when she opened the gift…

Tamsin was absolutely amazing, so talented would recommend to everyone. Tasmin kept me updated with every step as she brought jasper and ace to life. She got there personality perfect. I had this amazing artwork for my partners birthday and he absolutely loved it so did Jasper.

Higgledy Ink is brilliant, understanding and captured the pure beauty of my soul dog, Sooty. The print is colourful and vivid and shows the twinkle in Soots eye!
The frame is lovely and matches the colours well!

Tamsin was just brilliant from start to finish. She made sure she knew about Tilly and what made her a unique doggy, she sent over mock ups with different backgrounds as I am very indecisive along with Tilly in different poses based on the photos I sent over. The result was the most gorgeous illustration of Tilly I could have ever hoped for. I cried my eyes out when the email proof was sent over and cried even more when I received the illustration the day after. Tamsin perfectly captured Tilly’s personality ❤️ Thankyou xxx

Great portraits of dogs done really pleased

Tamsin was amazing to work with, she showed us several different colour ways and compositions which was great, nothing was too much trouble. Not to mention her incredible talent at capturing our dogs personality - something we’ll treasure forever! Thank you so much xx

I wanted a portrait of our dog for my husbands birthday. I could not be more delighted with the results. It is delightful. Tamsin has captured our dog's happy expression and joyful character perfectly. She took time to ask questions about him and looked at several photos. I did not want a portrait that looked like a photo. This is a joyous portrait and I feel we have a lasting memory of our boy to treasure forever. Thank you Tamsin.

Truly amazing. We had two illustrations, the quality of which were both beyond expectation, Tamsin is brilliant! One of the illustrations was for a birthday in the same week, amazingly we had Mylo presented to her new owner on her birthday who was absolutely blown away! Thank you!

AMAZING! This is the second portrait Tamsin has done for our family. With this one she worked to a very tight deadline as I wanted it as a gift for my Sister's birthday. Right from start to finish Tamsin was extremely helpful and patient and always answered emails very quickly. The whole process was wonderful, a number of options were sent to me and it was so difficult to choose as they were all so lovely.

The end result did not disappoint! My Sister was reduced to tears when she saw it, she is absolutely delighted with it - it is just perfect!

Tamsin went our of her way to deliver the portrait to me to ensure I had it in plenty of time, a totally first class service from a very lovely lady!

A totally satisfactory experience. A beautiful picture coupled with excellent vendor contact. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Tamsin created a portrait of our Ted - jack russell/ border cross, which was a surprise gift for my wife. Needless to say she was absolutely thrilled with the painting (nearly reducing her to tears) which totally captures Ted's personality. We would have no hesitation recommending Tamsin - what a talent!

Had a fantastic picture done of our black mini schnauzer. Although I had seen Tamsin's fantastic work and had confidence she would do a good job I was a little concerned because black dogs sometimes don't come over that well in photos etc. I should not have worried. Tamsin did an amazing job and not only caught the likeness of our pooch but her personality as well. Absolutely love it and would have given 6 stars if I could.

I have used Higgledy Ink 6 times now both for myself and for family and friends. Tamsin is both professional and accommodating as I have given her some very short deadlines on occasion! The quality of the work is outstanding and I can’t recommend highly enough.

Superb! Tamsin has really captured the essence and character of our Cara. The family really love the picture. I don't really like many dog portraits but the Higgledy Ink style is a really winner.

We have just received our second portrait of one of our longtime departed friends before Alfie. Again it’s perfect for us. I can’t keep having all my past pets done, but just one more later in the year, then my new puppy once he stops growing. Cannot fault the work, professionalism, communication and skill of Tamsin.

It was a late Christmas gift, but became a beautiful memorial. Our Alfie’s joy, character, hugeness and warmth shone from his portrait, captured him as if he was in the room.
Just after the holidays he was diagnosed with lymphoma, and he died at Easter. He now hangs at the bottom of my stairs, where I hang my coat and where we hugged as I got home from work.
He will always be in our home.
Update 05/21
We now have 4 Higgledy Ink pet portraits and still the standard and skill is impressive. Three of my now departed dogs the forth my now 3 year old Labrador Oscar. All with the same background and scale. You wouldn’t think it’s taken four years, but Tamsin seems to remember all her work and probably only has to check her records for minor details. If you have a treasured pet, photographs are great, but all to often we don’t look at them like we used to. So get a portrait and that friend will be with you forever.
