Out printer would not work after installation. It took us 5 days to get it to work. Call to HHband did not help.
We had to call the helpline to cancel our previous ISP and buy out our contract which was promised to us at the first visit of salesman and supervisor..

They came over to our house, convinced us they were better, but ive had nothing but issues. My 3k PC wouldn't connect tirelessly to it, and neither would me sister's. We all had to get ethernet cables because the ones provided to us were short as hell, and then I finally got it connected, and it was working fine for 2 days, and now I can't even load up discord, but it'll let me watch youtube and Google shit. Like, really? Why is it so hard to make a decent internet. Charging us 50 pound a month for shitty wifi? They told us apparently this wifi we are on used to be 99 pound, but they lowered it to 50, because, and I quote "no one would pay for it." Yeah, probably because your wifi sucks and we've had nothing but issues for our PC's.

John Chisolm arrived and installed our router, and hb service in a timely fashion, efficiently and without mess. He explained everything about the lights on the router, and assisted us to connect our mobiles and computer to the system.
John was very polite, friendly and professional in carrying out the work and an excellent representative for hb, thank you.

We were on fibre to the cabinet previously with BT like most of us are still. The speed was very slow and often if someone was watching Netflix or any high bandwidth application it would effect everyone else on the network.
I went with Highland Broadband as soon as they were available in our area as I know how much faster fibre to the premise really is. I went for the starting package and it’s leagues faster than my old connection. Even upload speed is very good and symmetric with the download.
Now, I like to use my own network gear as I find it to be more reliable and gives me more control than ISP provided gear.
They do require PPPoE details that need to go into your Gateway or Router, so I gave them a call and the guy gave me the details. Worked like a charm and now everything is up and running with the whole house getting WiFi.
All in all very good ISP. Keep in mind if you need to host servers like games you’ll need to pay extra each month for a static IP. They don’t have IPv6 yet and are using CGNAT. If you know what all this means then you probably need a static IP.
