High Peak Projectors – A House of Deception

Title: Beware: High Peak Projectors – A House of Deception

High Peak Projectors presents itself as a beacon of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction in the realm of projection technology. However, beneath its glossy facade lies a cesspool of deceit, false promises, and utter disregard for customer trust. My recent experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others against falling into the same trap.

Let's start with their website – a meticulously crafted illusion designed to lure unsuspecting consumers into a web of lies. Every claim they make about their products, guarantees, and customer satisfaction is as substantial as a house of cards in a hurricane. Their product descriptions read like works of fiction, painting a picture of unparalleled excellence that simply doesn't exist in reality.

Their guarantees? Nothing but empty words meant to placate wary buyers. I fell victim to their supposed "100% satisfaction guarantee," only to discover that it's nothing more than a cleverly-worded sham. When the projector I purchased turned out to be a malfunctioning piece of junk, getting a refund or even a replacement was akin to trying to extract water from a stone. High Peak Projectors conveniently vanished into thin air, leaving me high and dry with a worthless hunk of metal and plastic.

And don't even get me started on their customer service – or lack thereof. Attempting to reach a representative was an exercise in futility, with emails disappearing into the void and phone calls met with perpetual hold music. It's as if they take pleasure in ignoring the pleas of disgruntled customers, content to let their dissatisfaction fester in the dark corners of cyberspace.

In conclusion, I wouldn't wish the misfortune of dealing with High Peak Projectors on my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache, the heartache, and the empty bank account by steering clear of this deceitful company. There are plenty of reputable vendors out there who actually deliver on their promises and value their customers' trust. High Peak Projectors is not one of them, and I wholeheartedly advise against giving them a single cent of your hard-earned money.

Wish I could rate the service 0

Wish I could rate the service 0, quality is rubbish even with the upgrade product had clearly been used before arriving, was told there would be a free tripod but that didn't arrive and they just completely ignore you, not worth sending back cause of the time and cost but urge people to stay away from them.

Mini Projector refund

So, I bought a mini projector on January 10th by mistake, I wanted to see what the shipping cost to Portugal would be, and I accidentally placed the order. After that, I contacted customer support to return the projector as soon as it arrived at my house, and I did, it arrived and I returned it to a warehouse in China, which was the address that Cassie, the assistant, gave me. The projector has been imported since February 15th in China and the tracking application says that the recipient has been notified. I have been regularly contacting High Peak customer support to get updates on my refund, but recently they stopped responding... Oh, and I also paid €22 to send the product to China as quickly as possible so that everything would go smoothly. as quickly as possible, but the truth is that I still don't see my money, which was initially supposed to be a gift for my girlfriend, it took me some time to save money to give her the gift, and now I'm still without the money.

Doesn’t work like it should

Thanks in advance for slamming me I guess.
I got sucked in via ads on TikTok, and my fault for not searching harder for reviews.
Same, no tripod sent. “Upgraded” to wireless option; could not navigate to setup WiFi- like using the remote it would not let me click across the menu bar, also the fan is really loud. The website doesn’t state that it ships directly from China, so when it was time to send back I would be responsible to pay $30 shipping. They know this is a scam and try to put you through the wringer, like having me hook it up again after I’ve already packed it up just to video the problem- IF I WANT THE 40% discount for not returning. I asked for the tripod to be sent. I’m hoping I can fix the issue myself and sell it.

Bad company and product

I bought a projector in good faith from this company and it is trash. It is not as advertised. The picture is awful, it doesn’t connect to my iPhone, it is missing the tripod, the cord is too short, the sound is bad, etc. so basically it is unusable as is. To make matters worse, they want me to pay $30 1st class or $60 for priority to send it back to China which is not disclosed on their website. They advertise that the product will connect to your phone and it has a good picture. That is false advertising. Do not buy from this company! It is a scam!

Update: Notice the unprofessional way the “company” responded to my review by insulting me. Do not buy from this company. They do not stand behind all their products (the Lite is unwatchable) obviously nor are they transparent about their policies. By their own admission, you can’t get a clear picture with the Lite. Buyer beware. Oh and to High Peak: Stop scamming people.

Update 2: The company has changed their threatening replies but has not updated their website to include that a return requires the consumer to ship the product back to China. They also don’t take responsibility for not sending tripods or the bad lite product. Do not be fooled by their lies and their ridiculously long reply. Hopefully, the reviews on here will help someone not to get scammed.

DISASTER!!!1

DISASTER! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY. I bought a projector totally deceived by the publicity they do in tik tok and other social networks. I received the projector in a different color than I had ordered, and without the tripod that I was promised as a gift. Of course I tried the projector and the image quality is horrible and it makes more noise than a coffee maker.
I am proceeding with the return, I have been waiting for days for a response and nothing. I have already read many reviews and probably I will never be able to make the return so I have lost my money. But rest assured that I will denounce them by any means I can. YOU ARE DISGUSTING.
Get a decent job please.

I do not recommend this company

Their returns policy says you can return items within 15 days without fees, but in reality they do not allow you to do this. You have to pay for the return which is the same price as the product so it’s not worth it.

Generally an awful company to deal with. Customer service is rude, unhelpful and unprofessional, shouting via emails and getting emotional. No tracking numbers given, and no accurate confirmation of what was shipped. Takes ages to get a reply and they don’t answer direct questions. Purposely make the experience a pain so you give up. A lot of unnecessary stress and time wasted.

Piece of junk and horrible customer service

This is the biggest piece of junk. I ordered them with the tripods, and they came without them. They advertise that they work with Bluetooth… they don’t. They are also horribly grainy. When I went to return it I realized they’re making me pay to ship it back to China… I read the refund policy before purchasing and NOWHERE does it say we’re responsible for shipping costs… AND they take FOREVER to respond to emails regarding returns. HORRIBLE customer service.

Looks much better in ads

Received the package within two weeks. Projector was yellow instead of pink. Did NOT receive a tripod as promised. Quality and sound could be better but my teenager still likes it as she doesn’t have space for a tv in her room. For sound she connects her AirPods and she doesn’t mind the quality of the picture. Only gave one star as we were annoyed with the colour and no tripod. I would invest in a better quality projector if it were for myself.

Not a good experience

Not a good experience. Will never buy from this company again. When placing my order a pop up came across about upgrading my order to the MAX wireless version and also would receive the free tripod. I thought I had ordered two items but in fact it was just the original order plus the upgrade (which was explained after I reached out to customer service) but the version I received was not wireless and there was no tripod. When emailing back and forth I have been getting the run around and they have not addressed all of my concerns/questions and do not answer why they did not send the tripod. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my little girl and has turned an exhausting awful experience. They have not responded to my request to return this for a refund and in fact they go days in between answering if answering at all. Terrible experience for a piece of equipment I cannot use. Would not recommend.

High peak is a scam.

High peak is a scam.
I regret buying the projector so much.
I was apparently going to receive a pink projector and a free tripod stand.
I was sent a yellow projector and no tripod stand.
I had a look at the one I was sent to see what it is like and it’s pathetic. The picture and sound is so bad!!! It’s not adjustable without the tripod stand so it can only face a specific way.
I am trying to get a refund but apparently I have to pay for shipping even though I was sent an incorrect order. And I have to prove things with pictures of the product, send them a tracking number.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
pls save your money

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. They falsely advertise on their website with the highest definition products, even though the product is completely different and is not as advertised. Demanded that I pay for postage and tracking when returning. This is money I will not get back and will cost almost as much the product cost itself. Also was supposed to be a free tripod with my order but it never came.

Disgraceful customer service too, avoid buying from these scammers

DO NOT ORDER

DO NOT ORDER
This is a scam website, I ordered a mini projector which was not the same quality as that advertised, when I emailed I was informed that only the highest quality items are advertised on the website, meaning I was misled in to buying this item.
I am now expected to pay the price of returning this item to China, this will be the price I paid for the item in the first instance.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. The mini projector was advertised with Bluetooth and I had a free tripod with my purchase. When the product arrived, there was no branding on the box, the projector looked completely different to the one advertised and the quality was shocking, like it was from the pound shop.

I tried to return the item and paid £13 for shipping. They demanded that I pay for tracking, but that was £20 odd quid which I wouldn't get back. HighPeak said they will refund me once the projector is back at the warehouse. Its been over 2 months and they still haven't refunded me just because i didnt get tracking which is completely unnecessary. Not to mention their customer service is an absolute disgrace! I asked for contact details to make a formal complaint and they refused and told me to "Lay off the funny business"

Absolute joke of a company, do NOT even bother giving them a single penny!!!
