I bought one

I bought one, i recieved a broken remote and a broken speaker inside my projector.
When i contact highpeakco they ask for proof i send full proof.
Still they make an hard time for me as customer. I am 2 weeks further and stil got broken stuff. And no present for christmass to give to my child. I have no words for this. Its a disgrace that you not trust your customers and treat us like this.

My original review was not posted on their website. Buyer beware. Their website says it’s Bluetooth and wireless then when you pay it proceeds to offer you a discount on a separate dongle to make it wireless or pay for an upgraded one. And by this time it can’t be cancelled. It also gives you a discount code for a tripod but doesn’t send one. Better to buy it on Temu or another discount site. Do not waste your money like I did.

Scam items

Scam items. Their products aren't as advertised. If you buy a product, it's a low tier version that you have to pay to upgrade into what you thought you were actually buying.

Save your money. Don't buy.

Waited ages for the mini projector only to have to wait for them to send the tripod I ordered with it. Then when we tried to use it, it wouldn't even connect to anything to play films. I requested a refund and was told to return it to China (with tracking cost me £20.35) I had to raise a dispute to get my refund a full 3 weeks after my item was signed for by their 'warehouse'. Don't buy from them. Flimsy projector and it's all fake reviews on the website. Should've known it was dodgy when there's not even a physical business address on the website.

Product is junk and return is impossible

Product is junk , the scam is then to run down the clock in terms of the returns period of 15 days by just answering emails requesting the return info with pointless questions. You cannot send back until they give you an address and only way to get this is via their support email who never give it. It’s just a scam

If I can give them 0 stars I would. This is a scam and don’t fall for it. Absolutely false advertising. Crappy product. Ridiculous return policy. This is a lesson for me to always Google the company before buying from them.

Just don’t… the quality is absolutely…

Just don’t… the quality is absolutely terrible and you have to pay for the return postage .. they sent me the wrong colour and didn’t include any extras and quality.. you’d be better just watching on your phone honestly don’t bother

Worst company that I have run into so far.

Would give this a zero if I could as one star is still too much. I saw their ad on Tiktok about a mini projector that could be connected to your phone via bluetooth. But when I purchased it their website told me that I had to pay extra for that feature to get added even though it said on their website that the feature was supposed to already be included so it was false advertising. When I tried to cancel my order within the five minute timer you are put on to do so: It didn't work. So I contacted their customer support and they told me that it is too late to cancel the order and if I don't want my product I have to wait until I receive it. I did receive it at least and the box was pretty banged up. I can't use this product as I don't have anything that I can connect this ugly brick to.

Stay away from this terrible company, don't try to buy anything, they are scummy people just looking to leech money from you.

Avoid! Impossible to cancel

I made an impulse purchase which I immediately wanted to cancel. Per their cancellation policy, you have 5 minutes from the time of purchase to request a cancellation. However, this is not a process you can manage yourself. You have to send them an email requesting cancellation. They claim that the fulfilment process begins after 5 minutes from your purchase time. They have not responded to my cancellation request and it has been more than 24 hours. This is not acceptable.

I wish I had researched this company on Trustpilot before even considering buying anything. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Projector provided is faulty. I did the upgrade and was meant to get a better resolution but did not. I did not even receive the free tripod it was in the promo. I asked for a refund due to faults and have yet to receive it. They say it’s PayPal issue but no proof or evidence to show that they are in the process of getting the refund through!!

I ordered in September and made my request in early October. STILL NO REFUND.

Edit:

After placing the order, I immediately regretted thinking it was a scam and wanted to cancel it before it went through as per their policy which says you may cancel within 5 minutes of placing your order. However, there was no option to do so and I had to resort to sending an email which took longer for them to reply and by then the order is not cancellable. When my projector arrived, it did not have the tripod that came with it nor was it the more expensive upgraded version. I spoke to them and said I wanted a full refund because even though their policy allowed cancellations, they did not actually have that function available so I was not able to do so- to which they replied no.

Initially when I tested out the projector, it was faulty with scratches and was offered a partial refund, otherwise I would have had to fork out another 30£ to send it back to China. Now after using it for a month, it has moved out of place so the screen is not projected fully but cut off and projecting at an angle. Absolutely would not recommend!!!

DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY!! I wish I had read the reviews here before purchasing!
The quality depicted within their ads is not the quality you receive. The picture resolution is poor along with the sound.
The item is nothing like what’s in the ad, it looks the same but it’s useless.
Don’t try & return or ask for a refund as you just get put to jumping through so many hoops to even get the address that you end up outside the return period!
Just buyer beware is all I can say!!
There’s a reason they cut the price so much!!
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, all nice and lovely until their challenges then you get the shouty capitals to make their point which is just unacceptable and on principal I will continue to share this poor experience far and wide

Buyer Beware. High Peak…

I bought the projector from High Peak (vs Amazon) because of a promo they offered to include a free tripod. I made the payment. A pop-up appeared with an offer upgrade to the black&white MAX version with which highest resolutiob so I did. I got a second order number for the upgrade. My son is away at school and I provided his address for shipping. First of all, they shipped the originally purchased yellow projector to me, not my son and they did not send the free tripod. I contacted them immediately about this reminding them I paid for the upgraded black MAX projector paying and that the free tripod wasnt sent. It has been 1 month of back and forth email without any resolution. When I asked for a refund, today they send me their address in China to return the projector, at my expense, to get a refund. Buyer beware!!! Stay away from this company.

SCAM

SCAM! I purchased the pink one and they sent yellow. When I emailed customer service they tried to tell me they notified everyone about the shortage. I immediately told them not to do that because I have checked every email possible.. then I proceeded to ask for help because my projector won’t even cut on. They have not replied at ALL! Tik tok is lying and you’ll be out of money ordering from here!

Update: They responded the same night I posted this. I didn’t respond because after reading all the reviews I gave up and I don’t have time for this mess. However, they wrote me on 10/15 asking me why am I running around lying etc being very rude. So if you see this. Don’t waste your time.

Not a good experience

I upgraded to the max got the standard and didn't receive the Tripod. Further to that I plugged it in and it actually blew my circuit in the house and there was a smoke smell. I contacted them and it was a stuff around I sent them videos like asked and I got told "I seriously doubt you used the cord provided" suggesting I went and found another cord ignoring the one that came in the box ? It doesn't make sense. I can't be bothered to continue with the refund or actual replacement which I was seeking they don't seem to care so I will be at a loss. But to call me a liar doesn't make sense ? Anyway.. not a good experience..

I upgraded to Max but recieved the standard. I also didn't receive the tripod.
The customer support has been talking in circles running out the clock to get a refund. It took a long time to get a reply. I also got called a liar which felt pretty rubbish and they've been pretty rude

Customer service and product are both great!!

I absolutely loved my projector AND the customer service!! People will complain about literally anything, which is so evident here. If highpeak makes a mistake, they are so quick to correct it and they genuinely do everything in their power to make your experience the best it can be. All of these people complaining clearly either bought the lite version or just don't know how to read the website (or both!) because highpeak is very upfront about the capabilities of each version, available upgrades, etc. And everyone lying about the return process, I accidentally bought 2 screens instead of one, emailed WITHIN THE 15 DAYS, and voila, returned and got a full refund! It is not the companies fault if you miss the deadline.

Basically to summarize (TLDR), the product is great and so is the customer service and help if you end up needing it for some reason. Literally just email them asking for help and they will do everything they can for you. Great company!

Poor quality product & customer service

The product description on the website is at best confusing, at worst deliberately misleading. The site is consistently "in-sale", even using a countdown to create a sense of urgency to purchase, which is misleading. The pictures of the product as shown on the website are not what was delivered, in addition to the fact, the tripod which was won on the "spin the wheel", never arrived.

When flagging the issue with customer service, initially, they very prompt offering a discount code for the wireless dongle (which I didn't believe I needed), however, quickly turned very rude when asked to review their product description and rectify issues with the product received. I was genuinely excited by this product when I ordered, however, since very disappointed.
