Hillandale Caravan Parks Reviews 

We have recently brought a touring caravan and this was our first holiday away in it to Lickhill Manor when we arrived we was greeted by a very helpful lady in reception who showed us to our pitch. The campsite was very well maintained from the pitches on site, to the facilities (Toilets, Showers, Pot Wash etc). Our kids made friends with others around site easily and the children’s play park kept them busy as well. Nice walk into Stourport on Seven which has plenty to do as a family. Great having a late checkout time of 12, so we didn’t have to rush about and take it steady. Our eldest is already asking if we can book next year!

Lovely warm welcome on arrival to Lickhill Manor site. Wardens took us to our pitch and later on bought us a wooden table bench. Very knowledgeable about the local amenities. Pizza van and icecream van visited on 2 nights. Toilets were spotless on our 4 night stay. Beautiful surroundings and lovely walk along river to Stourport. Central location for cycling. Would certainly recommend this site and will return.

Financially a very bad and unfair experience. Would not recommend. Very little or no respect for customers.

Do not buy a Holiday Home from this company they will Rob you blind in broad daylight.I bought a Holiday Home less than two years ago with this company and I’ve just been ripped off by the so called manager Director mmmm.More like a Theiving Rat.Unbelievable.Karma will be coming soon. The company Hillandale Holiday Parks.i will try and keep it short and break it down Caravan £30500 Deposit £10500 financed payed over 21 months just under £5000 Plus ground rent and Gas Electric. Its cost me about £17000 plus in 21 months And the THEIVING RAT of a manger have just offered me back £416.75p I can’t say it enough stay clear from this company they are so BAD plus if you have ave any issues with the Caravan and you want to speak to someone at there head office don’t bother there a bunch of Baboons with no people skills whatsoever.I know I’m repeating myself BUT STAY CLEAR go and buy ur Holiday Home with a respectable company that respects there customers. NOT A BUNCH OF ROBBING DOGS.Just replying back to the Hillandale reply now they are saying they offered me £18.000 pounds for the Caravan which is a total lie they are also saying there was a gas and electric bill that wasn’t payed which I can prove all bills was payed before the keys were given back to there head office.So I called there head office which they say in there reply don’t hesitate to contact us I’m still waiting for the so called director to get back to me.. mmm how strange he didn’t coward of a man.This is how they treat there customers total disrespect so please as I’ve said stay clear because this company will ROB YOU BLIND.

Excellent site at Hay on Wye The facilities were spotless and wardens very friendly and helpful.

We absolutely love our holiday caravan at Cleobury Mortimer. It is set in a perfect country location, a short walk from shops, pubs and restaurants. The views are beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities for rural walks. The park itself is maintained to an excellent standard, with mature trees, wildflowers and bulbs. All our neighbours take equal pride in maintaining their plots, and it is very quiet and relaxing. The park managers and wardens are very friendly, and will quickly offer help and advice when needed. Couldn’t be more pleased with our rural retreat!

I recommend not to buy caravan’s from big companies like Hillsandale. You can loose a lot of money in a short space of time. There answers to the negative reviews given are to bore you into not taking them seriously. The answers do bore you and if my experience is anything to go by it pure nonsense. Take the negative reviews seriously. There are lots of smaller caravan sites around that will treat you with respect.

Make sure you are 100% certain before buying off these rob dogs . We had to sell back to them due to unforeseen circumstances. After owning our static for just 6 months and leaving it in immaculate condition they wouldn't negotiate and gave us £14000 less than what we paid for it . Just 3 weeks later it is back up for sale at £12000 more than they gave us for it. We also had fishing equipment stolen from under the caravan and when I went in they didn't want to know and told us to call the police . This company are great when they want to take your money but I would advise avoiding at all costs as if anything goes wrong for you they won't hesitate in ripping you off as well .

Just had 2 nights in our motorhome at river bend. Park & toilets spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely dog friendly riverside walk. Very friendly park managers. Easy access approx 100yds from the main road. Nearest pub/restaurant on main rd. Beautiful part of Wales. We'll be back. 👍

We purchased our holiday home just over two years ago, we took advantage of the interest free payments, so was able to make it our own with adding decking & garden etc, if you are looking for a spotless, peaceful park, with other friendly homeowners, The Coppice is the one for you, the heated pool and children’s play area is a wonderful addition and the woodland walks so dogs can run freely is lovely too.
All the staff work extremely hard to keep the park up to scratch and are always approachable and friendly.
We can only speak as we find and personally we are loving every minute here.

A wonderful campsite with a great playground for the kids, beautiful flat tarmack for the little ones to safely ride their bikes around and well kept grounds

Just returned from two nights staying on the Riverside at Lickhill Manor Park in our motohome. Wide open field with extra large pitches and a clear view to the sky. Lovely walk (about 25mins) alongside the river to Stourport. The wardens, Bex and Andy were extremely helpful and friendly, they even loan you a wooden bench table and sun brolly. Would highly recommend staying here, it's like old style camping in a large field with lots of space for children and dogs.

Our third year as seasonal customers at Riverbend Caravan-park mid Wales and we have no reason to look anywhere else ! , The park is managed by a lovely couple who work so hard not only to make you feel welcome but also keep the Park in immaculate condition, The wash rooms and toilets are award winning , We are lucky enough to have the beautiful river banwy at the heart of the site with all the nature that comes with it , The grass between pitches is mowed perfectly but there are numerous areas left for wild flowers , plants bee hives, butterfly garden and hedeghog house it really is so idyllic our two Children 8 and 5 love the play park the dog loves the walks , We have made so many friends here ! ..The site is also perfectly placed for days out, We love visiting Barmouth the short drive takes you through the snowdonia national park which is breathtaking I really could go on and on... cant wait for next weekend to be back.

Had a great stay at Riverbend Caravan park this weekend. Staff were all very welcoming. Facilities were excellent and a lovely little pub just round the corner. We stayed with young children who really enjoyed the park on site and fishing in the river. Overall a brilliant stay and will definitely be back again

Riverbend Caravan Park which is part of the of Hillandale group is amazing. So tranquil. The washroom facilities are second to none. The park wardens Angie and Lindsay are so lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They show such pride in looking after the site and it shines through.
Great location between Welshpool and the coast, pub at the entrance to the site and small shop and cafe just down the road.
Give Riverbend a try you won’t regret it.

Just back from a weekend of camping at Riverbend caravan park, Welshpool. This is by far one of the best sites we have stayed on. Every pitch had a electric hook up, tap for water and picnic bench. The toilets and showers are immaculate with plenty of toilets and shower available. Shower rooms with toilet inside which are super handy for the family. If you want a site that is very well kept, immaculately clean and run by fantastic people this is the one. With the river on your doorstep it was amazing to let our daughter explore and fish. This is a site we will be booking many more times to come

We have just returned from a 3 night break in Lickhill in our motorhome. This site is like staying in a country park where you feel really close to nature among the trees and lake with its friendly cheeky ducks and other wildlife. It is beautifully maintained and well positioned for riverside walks. All staff are friendly and helpful especially the wardens Andy & Jenny who will do anything they can to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

Stayed 2 nights at Lickhill. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The whole grounds are immaculately kept with our pitch directly on one of the little water ways with lots of friendly ducks.
Showers/ toilets spotless. Not many motor homes there at all so very peaceful.

Lickhill Manor is a well-managed and beautifully maintained site in a stunning and peaceful location. It reminds me of the old style camping sites you find in France. Staff were friendly and worked very hard. Facilities were spotless. Loved it.
