Staff at Hillier's were very supportive throughout the process of organising the funeral.

We as a family turely have only heart felt praise for the professionalism and comfort Hilliers encompass from the start of a diffcult journery when a loveone passes to the on going support through every stage of a difficult and emotional time. Excellent communication and an individaul point of contact lifted a hugh weight of responsibility allowing all to focus on there own wellbeing and of those effected by such loss.

I cannot praise the staff and service we received from Hilliers. At a very stressful time they were caring, compassionate and made the whole process as easy as possible. Nick did the arranging for us and he got everything spot on and chose an excellent reader for the actual service. The funeral itself went so smoothly and was a great send off for our beloved mum, she would have approved wholeheartedly. Highly recommend Hilliers Funeral Services.

I phoned Hilliers to inform them of my Husband’s passing I was greeted with a calm professional that put me at ease and explained what was going to happen next! On arrival Hilliers representatives introduced themselves to me and full of empathy and calmness asked me about my Husband as they came over to meet him and when I was ready to let him go I knew he was going to be well looked after ! They told me I could phone anytime and they will let me know when I could go and visit my husband prior Funeral ! The Chapel of Rest is a peaceful and beautiful chapel the service Hilliers provided was first class professionalism! They have been amazing at handling the emotional side of things to the organisation of the Funeral event which was perfect in every way ! Thank you Hilliers
Excellent service from Sue Boyce who organised Funeral, Flowers, Cars and looking after me whilst I was in a mist of emotions Sue made everything ok I didn’t need to worry about anything thank you , Ian who came to the house and headed the Funeral Event thank you for looking after my Husband and me and my family and thank you Mr Mark Hillier who was my first contact thank you!

Hillier Funeral Service understand how difficult it is for family and friends when someone close dies. From first contact their compassion and professionalism is evident and shines through. The help in choosing the details and making the arrangements was really appreciated with clear and frequent communications about each stage of the process. All costs and expenditure is known from the outset so no surprises when you get the invoice. No pressure to go for the cheapest or dearest options they simply leave that decision to you. At all times they did not loose sight that the funeral is all about the deceased and the family left behind to mourn the loss. I can't thank them enough for what should be a painfull experiences so painless.

No parent should have to arrange their 20 year old Daughter’s Funeral. We had no idea where to start.

Hillier’s was so helpful from the first phone call with John, putting us at ease straight away.

Tracey Hull was our funeral arranger and we couldn’t have wished for a nicer person to help guide us throughout.

Tracey helped with ALL the arrangements including a Horse Drawn Hearse to take our Daughter to her final resting place, she also recommended a Florist and the wonderful Celebrant Sharon who delivered such a beautiful Service. Every fine detail was perfect and never any trouble.

On the day of the Funeral all Hillier’s Staff from the Drivers to Pallbearers were so caring and professional. Everything was seamless. The Funeral was perfect from start to finish. Thank you to each and everyone of you.

A special thanks to Rob at the Chapel of Rest, we feel he went that extra mile looking after Our Daughter and being so supportive to all of us as a family, this really helped at such a difficult time.

Right from the beginning from the initial contact to Nick from hillier’s has been amazing, he took the time to listen to what I had to say regarding my mothers funeral arrangements. He was very thorough and explained everything to me in detail

A very friendly but professional service. From the initial phone call right through to my mum’s cremation and settling the finance, not a single hitch, friendly and very helpful, and everything was taken care of. I certainly would not hesitate in recommending Hilliers - they provided the service and exceeded expectations, right when we needed them. Thank you to Sue and the Hillier team.

Hilliers were a model of professionalism, courtesy and compassion. They handled everything perfectly and made what was a difficult time much easier to bear. Kelvin McCarthy, who managed and directed our funeral, was outstanding: thoughtful, sympathetic and made sure every detail was as we wanted it. We could not rate them, nor Kelvin, highly enough.

I wanted to express my utmost gratitude to Hilllier Funeral Service for the professional and compassionate way they dealt with my wife Maria's funeral, and in such difficult circumstances , it was such a comfort . The process of arranging the funeral, cars, flowers, service card, music, photos was magnificent .The Reverend John Railton was excellent in conducting the service.A lot was done on line and over the telephone , but everything was faultless and went exceptionally well. I cannot thank the Hillier team enough, and I highly recommend them.
