On two occasions Hillier's Highworth have given us an excellent service with kind consideration and one hundred per cent attention to detail.

My step-mother Marie Anderson died on 10th January 2021. My first thought was for a simple funeral and I told John Edwards of my wishes. After a couple of days I had received requests from her cousin in Northern Ireland for the funeral to be streamed and, thinking of my sister in Canada, also recorded. I informed the funeral arranger of these requests. Nothing fazed him. He also arranged for a humanist/civil celebrant and his choice could not have been better. The service she gave sounded like she had known Marie for years. There was one strange request from Marie's former carers. They wanted to dress her. No problem. Hillier's forwarded condolence cards from some of Marie's old friends. I was able to let them have details of the webcast. This was much appreciated. In fact everyone who has seen the funeral has said the same thing, "I know I shouldn't say this about a funeral but I really enjoyed it." The carers, who attended the crematorium, all remarked at how well they had been treated. You all did Marie proud. Thank you,

I would like to thank Hilliers for taking care of my mother’s funeral throughout a very sad and difficult time. Tracey Hull was kind, compassionate and professional. She guided me through planning the funeral and kept in constant contact with me with regards to progress and updates. On the day of the service I was respectfully looked after and the staff were friendly and sympathetic. Hugh Milsom the funeral celebrant conducted a beautiful service.

Dad died while we were all sheilding. We decided on a Direct Cremation, with no fuss, no flowers etc and we are going to celebrate his life when we can all be together to do it properly.
So Hilliers werent going to make loads of money from our needs....
This made not one jot of difference!

I can’t praise Hillier Funeral Service enough! In the past four months my sisters and myself have used this company to organise services for our aunt and both of our parents. It has been a difficult time!
All of the staff have been kind, considerate, sensitive and understanding throughout.
Kelvin, who we dealt with most of the time, has been absolutely amazing with us. He has ensured that our wishes have been met whilst offering guidance to us to ensure that our relatives get the best service possible.
I have been so impressed that I have decided to purchase pre-paid funeral services for my wife and myself. With so many pressures on young people today it seems right to remove this financial and organisational worry when the time comes. Hopefully in the very distant future!
