Room was dirty. Wall paper peeling, baseboards dirty, carpet dirty, a/c vent filthy, ceilling apparently had a leak and was poorly patched. Definitely Not up to Hilton or Doubletree standard. I'll nev... See more

Been staying in Hilton's all over the…
Been staying in Hilton's all over the United States for over a decade. Only once did I question the cleanliness of a room and I was immediately moved to another room and upon my inspection found it to be much cleaner. I've only had above and beyond outstanding service at every location I've stayed in. My favorite location is in Chicago, my second favorite is in Virginia Beach. I love being part of the rewards program, the point system is so easy to use and when I've had questions all staff were more than helpful in finding answers and helping me with any accomodations. They have awesome promotional packages and time share deals. The price matching is truly next level. Everytime I stay in a Hilton location or affiliated hilton location I've learned about new benefits and deals. I've only ever encountered positive and helpful staff, even on the phone, even during holidays, even during peak hours. Their app is easy to use and their websites are even easier. They can do just as much, if not more on their customer service line by phone. I like the company, I like the idea behind having a consistently nice stay no matter where I am going. There are definitely nice hotels of less prestigious names, and for sure much nicer and elite hotel chains around, however being a frequent traveler my personal choice is Hilton. For price, service and accomodations I enjoy my stays very much.
Terrible hotel
Terrible hotel. Refused donations to support military troops and made them be recollected! Will NEVER use any of the hotels in the chain again and cutting up my hilton honors card - which by the looks of the reviews on here is not honoured anyway!!!
Employees steals from customers
The employees on this location steal from customers . Let me start with saying that I will never ever tough I will be writing a report like this to this hotel since I trust soo much the Hilton and I always choose Hilton , well I stayed there on 02/05/2021 and let me start by saying was horrible what I went thru in this location , I left my hotel room on a rush and I left behind my wallet with all of my important documents like ID and social security , $600 cash and all my credit cards , when I realized I called the staff at this location and ask them about all of my personal stuff , mind you I couldn’t take my fly back home because is obvious that I need my ID to fly back home well I couldn’t fly back home I couldn’t stay in any other place because their staff rob all of my stuff what a shame on this people I had to stay on the street with nowhere to go , how do you have a staff that those this things , how ??? Is a crime to steal people’s stuff , what a shame for this corporation and no one help me or gave me any answer , how can you treat your guess like that , I will never ever will stay in any of your hotels any more I will def share this with all my friends and all of my social media platform , how can you hire this type of employees , how could you offer a service that you charge for but again they will steal from me , this is unacceptable and intolerable, I hope all of you guys read this and never ever book in this hotel ever , is horrible to be left out in the street with no money or ID . This is the lowest of the lowest I had ever experience in my entire life , I wanted to shared this with the people , they are not there to look out for you they are there to rob you at the first opportunity they will get , so think twice before you book any room with this hotel , they don’t deserved our money . They rob in these location. Book in another hotels I will never book here ever again , they steal from their customer
Never again
Had a horrid experience July 4th, 2020. After going back and forth for almost 2 weeks with Hilton’s Corporate Office as the Hotel itself wouldn’t remedy or the Manager would not call me back. I was given points and a certificate for my family’s troubles. So now on NYE, we been on the phone for 1 hour with two different reps. Not only they sound like it’s their first day on the job but claims Hilton does not price match! Also they stated that 2 adults and 1 small child cannot stay in a King bed room as per fire code? One rep said he reserved us a room but the next rep said he didn’t but the hotel claim neither one of them did! WTH Hilton! Do you just hire anyone? Never again. Waste of time I cannot recoup.

Once a liar always a liar
My daughter and I decided to start traveling more often and called the Hilton honors program in order to hear about their travel options. When we chose the hotel we would stay at we were informed there were a few blackout dates in the summer, it turns out it is the entire summer, from the beginning of April to September: that's 5 months! We were never told there is an up charge if we wanted to stay during that time and it's an extra $200 for four nights. We signed up so that we could listen to their speech about their travel / timeshare options and they lied to us in the very beginning. Logic dictates if they lie now they will continue to do so, and I refuse to lose any more money to them. I highly recommend everyone stay away from a company of liars.
cant redeem points must call every time
Pandemic caused cancellation
First the facts: In November, 2019, we booked a one night stay at the Frankfurt Hilton via booking.com for May 1, 2020, and it was a non-cancel booking. We were taking a world cruise from January, 2020 – May 1, 2020 and the hotel was to be used for our layover before returning to the USA. The pandemic changed all that and hallway through our world cruise we were forced to fly home from Sydney. Once we got home we contacted all the airlines, hotels, and car rentals about the problem we were refunded the fees we paid except for booking.com and the Frankfurt Hilton. They insisted it was a no cancel booking so I lose my $102.43. I even asked for a voucher for a future stay rather than a credit to my credit card, but they still said no and kept my money. I decided to dispute the charge via my credit card company and well after the 90 day limit for the booking.com response I got word that Capital One decided booking.com was entitled to the $102.43 due to the pandemic overriding the credit card dispute rules.
So I want to congratulate booking.com and the Hilton Garden Inn at the Frankfurt Airport for winning this dispute and I hope they enjoy the full amount of $102.43. I also want to inform them that we have traveled a great deal in the past and once we have a vaccine (soon I understand); we will be traveling a great deal again. We have a daughter and her family living in the UK and we travel there at least once a year. We also average at least 30 days/year on cruise ships. 2021 is also the year we are planning on traveling the USA to take in everything we have yet to see. Naturally there will be many cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and car rentals involved, but sadly we will not be using booking.com or any of the Hilton Hotels or their subsidiaries for these excursions. So again, enjoy the $102.43 you won the right to keep.
By the way, Capital One, I opened a new card which allows me to charge in other countries without a conversion fee. Looks like I may not need your card in the future.
Never again!
I will never spend a cent in a Hilton brand hotel again! My alcohol was tampered with at home2suites Middletown. The staff were unprofessional to say the least. The carelessness, and nonchalant behavior they displayed when presented with an issue was troubling. My belongings was moved around. I had wine and spirits on the counter that was moved to the top of the refrigerator. I’ve never had anyone touch my personal belongings and I’ve stayed at many hotels all around the country, and haven’t encountered this nonsense. Even at the height of Covid, they believe it’s okay to clean ones room, and use those same gloves to touch my glasses and food. The staff must believe that I don’t remember how much alcohol I left in the bottle. I was told by a executive at the Hilton brand, that if I don’t want my belongings touched I should put them in the closet. Wow that was great advice and superb deflection! I will continue to spend my money at the Marriot, Hyatt etc as long as they continue to provide great customer service to the consumers who keep them in business.
Every review you see here
Every review you see here! BELIEVE THEM! I’m literally sitting in a broken hotel unit that they refuse to switch me to another room, it’s 80 degrees here and I called not only the front desk but the 1800 number and they WILL NOT help you!
It’s too bad experience so you can’t…
It’s too bad experience so you can’t believe it, poor customer service and steal your money from credit card and then go ahead and spend a week trying to fix it.
If you’re a honors member that spends…
If you’re a honors member that spends thousands of dollars with this company, don’t let them think they care about you. If you have an emergency and can’t stay at a hotel that you’ve booked and they charge you for, they WILL NOT even give you the points. They will in fact charge you for the stay though. Sounds crooked to me.
I wouldn’t stay here again i needed to…
I wouldn’t stay here again i needed to ring the spa to book to use the pool and they took 2 days to answer I managed to get hold of them in the end, I used the pool and the lady who worked on reception for the pool was really rude and said we weren't aloud to get changed in the changing room and to go up to are room with just a towel around us soaking Even though the lift is glass so everyone can see you and said we should of been given towel gowns and we didn’t the room we stayed in wasn’t clean and the bed wasn’t comfy it wasn’t cheap to stay here either I stayed for my birthday and was very disappointed
I will never choose a Hilton Hotel…
I will never choose a Hilton Hotel again! We attended a time share meeting in the fall of 2019 and got to stay in a beautiful hotel in Florida. And although we could not agree to buy a timeshare at that moment, we were offered a weeks stay in one of the 2 bedroom living room, kitchen, dining room hotel rooms for a pretty reasonable price. We are a large family and in the process of adopting 3 beautiful kiddos turning our family of 5 into a family of 8. 7 of you don’t count my adult child. But none the less a family of 7! This trip is supposed to be a joyous occasion to celebrate an adoption. Today I was very heart broken because despite being told 7 people in the hotel room was fine in the fall of 2019, we are now being told it is not fine and it can only be 6 people. What!!!!!???? Okay so which one of my children who are under 14 years of age am I supposed to exclude on this ADOPTION celebration trip!!!!????? I am so upset with Hilton right now. We had this planned for over a year in advance and now we are being told our reservation is canceled, we were let out of our contract, and we will get a refund😭😭😭😭. So Hilton does not accomodate large families!!!!! Glad to know that when families adopt and it increases their family size that this is penalized. Nice to know Hilton, nice to know!
Unfair/discriminatory treatment
I was staying in Hilton Northampton for two nights from 26 August. At check-in counter, a male staff asked me to wear a mask, and handed me some dirty ones to wear. I stopped what I was doing which was checking the form and signing and took my mask out from my bag. I had not been wearing one as I just got out of my car journey of 2 hours.
One hour later, I saw two people in lounge area not wearing one. They were not eating or drinking nor anywhere near the restaurant or bar. I asked a lady staff to persuade them to wear masks. She told me she couldn’t as the management told them not to enforce it. I asked her why the staff enforced it earlier on me? She couldn’t answer. I asked whether it is because of my colour? I am not white whereas the two maskless customers were white. She told me no but again could not give me a satisfactory answer. Feeling completely disgusted by Hilton’s discriminatory treatment, I tell myself never stay at Hilton ever again. This is a matter of principle, even if it means inconvenience, as I frequently travel to midland.
The funny thing is - every time after I stayed at Hilton, they always asked me to complete some feedback. Not this time though. How strange!
One horrible night
On September 2 I stayed at a Hilton in Albany New York the Jacuzzi suite I will never stay at another Hilton the bed was dirty and nasty when I reported it the front desk asked me to make the bed and brought me two small sheets the management are rude and very dismissive and when you call corporate they are just as dismissive I would not recommend a Hilton a Hampton hotel to anyone do not waste your money.

My family’s stay at Brighton Hilton
My family and I had the misfortune to stay at the Brighton Hilton. To say it was the worst stay we have ever had would be an understatement. I personally have emailed to complain about our stay 4 times, customer services hasn’t even bothered to acknowledge any of my emails. We were totally disgusted. I would never ever stay at a Hilton hotel again. Gloria Noble
