HIPAY recurrent payment every month

HIPAY take a payment every month since more than 2 years. This payment is between 20 to 28£ + fees because this is Euro Transaction.

It's really small amount but it's every months and I am sure I never registered to any recurrent payment in Euro with my UK account.

I called the bank and they did cancel the payment. I should be refund by my bank. This is probably more than 500£ within more than 2 years.

HIPAY you will hear from me by a claim from my bank really soon.

Took my money

Took my money, then asked for my id and after everything now ''refunding'' my cash. Wasting my time big time. Would never deal with them again.

still waiting for my money

I tried to transfer my money for the 5th time now and they decline my bank accounts. Which is just not possible that they are wrong. Customer service is not responding, neither on mail nor hotline. bad service. i would never do hipay again for my shop system.

Very good solution to sell internationally

After using our bank to sell online, we decided to move to HiPay as we needed to offer fully customizable payment pages, good mobile UX and local payment methods.
Technically, the solution is incredible and our financial team is saving a lot of time whereas our marketing department is very happy about the reporting about the conversion.
Even though it took a few weeks to be accepted (for some reason they don't accept small merchants and we had to show our business was clean..), it is all good now.
We even have a dedicated account manager who knows what he is talking about...and answers our emails! Thanks guys!!

Very BAD

I try to buy game on Instant Gaming with Visa Virtual card my payment was rejected and my money
reserved and didnt back to my account. Because of Hipay IG losing costumers this is bad for business. IG is cool but Hipay makes a lot of problems.

Payment rejected

Tried to purchase pcgame from instant gaming using hipay. Gave them all information they needed and still it says payment rejected. Instant gaming support tells to go directly to hipay homepage and message them, but the hipay homepage is not in english..Its like french..Never using this payment method again..hope they refund my money.

DO NOT TRUST THEM! Stay away if you don't have money to waste!

I have opened a merchant account with Hipay in December 2016. As other user here experienced, Hipay allowed the first withdrawal but they cancelled the second, for no apparent reason.
I made several withdrawal requests but all were cancelled by Hipay and no explanation whatsoever.
I tried writing and asked for an explanation but received no answer.
I tried reading their 47 pages Terms and Conditions pdf, in order to find a possible explanation, but I couldn't find any.
Also, many of my customers were refused card payments, without any explanation whatsoever. I am now afraid that Hipay might have charged my customers cards, even if the status of payments shows "refused".
I really do not know how to address this issue, but the least I can do is to warn others about their way of doing business.
Stay away, even if they look legit. Otherwise you will probably be sorry, as I am.

Not a good experience with Hipay would not use again.

What a waste of time I bought 1 game from instant gaming went through no problem. I then tried to purchase a second game and it was rejected tried 4 times with no luck so called my bank to see if they put a stop on it but no a quick check with verified by visa and no stop from my end. Just to be safe i've cancelled my card, now just to get things straight this is Hipay not Instant gaming. I would of used my old trusted Paypal but they were charging an extra £1.74 on top and with instant gaming you can only purchase 1 game code at a time not a good experience won't be using again..

No problems with card payment

I'm frankly amazed about the appalling score they get. I've used it a couple of times and had no problems with card payment whatsoever, including 3D Secure. It went through instantaneously, even though I use script blocker. I only needed to add their main site to the white list and it refreshed without issues with the payment. Two thumbs up.

I just used the option of paying for a product on Instant Gaming through Hipay and there were no problems what so ever. Payment was accepted immediately and no extra fees were put on top of the products price. I would recommend using it!

Very bad payment provider

I tried to buy Titanfall 2 key from Instant-gaming.com using my credit card. I chose to use Hipay as a payment option. First time payment was denied and my card was not charged. Tried again, this time adding little funds to the card just in case, payment denied again. This time, my credit card was charged and amount taken from my bank account connected to the card. I complained to Instant-gaming they advised me to contact Hipay directly, which I did.

I made a ticket i their help system and contacted them by email. First i received a generic response and then after a day they asked me to provide credit card info so they can check what went wrong, which I did. I also included a screenshot of the transaction from my banks website.After another day they replied saying that my payment was denied, which I already knew, not giving me the reason why. Instead they asked me for my bank statement and proof of transaction in .pdf format beacuse they don't recognize any other file format as legitimate!? I have sent them that too. Since then no response at all. It's been a week, I have sent them many more emails asking for a response, also updated my ticket in their system many times, still no reponse whatsaever.

Hipay's customer help is very bad and they a very bad payment provider beacuse many people had problem paying by using Hipay as a payment provider. And they don't even bother to help their customer at all.

Bottom line, don't use HIpay never as a payment provider.

And Instant-gaming should not use Hipay as a option for a payment too if they want to keep their customers too.

Payment Rejected, no support

Instant Gaming, wanted to get a game. Enter my details, says processing. 1 min later BOOM, Payment Rejected, i get an SMS saying my money is taken. Call my bank, they say its in my active reserves, need to contact HiPay so they can sort this out. Sent emails 2 times, 7 days apart. Each time it would be an automated response, and after they reply saying i need to send them a PDF of the transaction the e-mails stop. Contacted Instant Gaming to see if they could possibly do something, if anything remove the payment option from their site so that more people don't get tricked out of their money. I hope the people behind this site will be found and ~DELETED CAUSE OF REPORT~.
EDIT: I just received an email saying that HiPay had reported my review cause i used language thats defamatory or accusative . So here, i deleted the bad language. I will not change anything about the review besides what is necessary. This company is bad, their service is bad, their conduct was beyond atrocious and I did not see the refund for the bad transaction (for which they were the cause of failure) until a few months had passed. And this was for a mere 10 dollar transaction, can't imagine anyone else using this site for bigger ventures.

Lost my money......

I have bought pre-order Deus Ex Mankind Divided from instant-gaming, my payment was declined but they still billed me money and no one answers on hipay ticket. Unbelievable.....

On instant-gaming they tell me that this is not their problem the money didn't get to them i need to contact hipay instead. I think i will not see my money again. How can this company not been sued already or raided by the police.....

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Please.

Entrepreneurs: DO NOT SIGN UP WITH HIPAY. It was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made as a business owner. I wish I'd read the other reviews on this page, they are all true!

I signed up with HiPay because they had an affiliation with PrestaShop so I thought it was very safe. 3 weeks into the switch and although my website traffic was the largest it had ever been, my sales were at an all time low. I started to receive emails from customers saying their visa payments were being blocked. I realised I needed to speak to HiPay and fast, before my business completely buckled.

I emailed HiPay customer support numerous times but with no reply. I therefore rang a French phone number I found. Luckily he spoke English, but told me I needed to phone the office in my own country for support. THEY DON'T HAVE A BRITISH OFFICE! I decided I had no choice but to try a different European office. Again, the man spoke English but was equally as useless in helping, telling me to simply email. HiPay eventually answered, confirming that nothing was wrong. Total rubbish - my analytics was showing tens of thousands of pounds in abandoned carts; super strange for my 3 year old business.

I changed to Paypal and decided to get the £900 I had earned in HiPay out. I signed into their back-end, having to generate a new password EVERY time via my email address because they don't do normal passwords like everyone else. To withdraw my money I had to not only upload my passport to verify myself (fair), I also had to upload numerous company documents which were totally irrelevant. It took over three weeks of back-and-forth emails, but they finally accepted me.

Once I'd gone through the agony of verifying myself, I had to verify my bank details. At first they were rejected (after a 5 day wait). I tried again and they were rejected. I had to contact support myself to ask why. I emailed loads, often not getting a response and when I did the responses were short and blunt, sometimes in a foreign language. I was asked to send proof of my bank account (I had to send a business bank statement) and even after I did, the details were rejected again. WHY? I literally gave them a bank statement with all the account details, my name and registered address. What other proof did they want? At this time, HiPay had brought out a new online 'support centre' where users can raise tickets. I did this numerous times and staff would just mark them as 'solved' without answering!!! So frustrating.

It was 2 months later from when I decided to withdraw that I was told I finally could, but ONLY after I threatened legal action because I believe they were deliberately making it impossible for me to get my earned money out. I went to withdraw my money and bang, just to sweeten the deal they charged me £20 commission for the privilege.

Expensive with hidden fees. Card processing doesn't properly work. Staff do not care about customers. Company is painfully slow to do anything. Will want proof for everything.

Instant gaming gone wrong

I used Hipay as a method to purchase from instant gaming. Hipay took my money yet instant gaming said they did not receive the money and so I never got my game. I have repurchased from instant gaming with another payment method, all ok. I just have to hope hipay actually reply to me and refund my money. likely not.
