Been playing with hireapitch for a number of years across different locations. Always a great service and they've got access to top venues. Easy to book and play. Only ever been smooth processes

Great service
Easy to use, great customer service - quick email responses and always available on the phone whenever I rung up. Makes trying to book venues much less stressful!
Sarcastic, rude and unprofessional.
Started off... okay, just generally answering questions.
Wasn't until I did not find some of their options suitable that they started being quite rude and unprofessional.
Once I raised this to them in the email, I was told it was my fault for being too fussy and in fact 'you cannot detect a tone via email'.
I went back to them to inform them their app doesn't work and I've booked my services with the venues directly as I did not appreciate their service... I was then told I have too much time on my hands.
Evidently it's some "rude boy" on the other end giving it the big'un but sadly it reflects badly on what looks like a decent business model... and by judging from many bad reviews, this looks like a big problem internally.
Personally, you are better off using the website to find the venues and contacting them yourselves / using Better.com as the level of service is much better. You'll also save roughly 10-15% per booking.

Jay was extremely helpful and helped us book a pitch with ease over the phone. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good pitch to play on!
Rude and unprofessional!
Rude and unprofessional!
One person will tell you one thing on the phone, when you call back and get someone else you'll be told something different.
Everything is the customer's fault and they will never admit a mistake.
They cut you off if they don't like speaking to you.
Charge a fortune for any pitch.
Pitches are in short supply in London and these guys are absolute mercenaries.
We've dealt with them several times and been disappointed every time!

Top top private facilities in wandsworth for 5 a side, me and my mates really enjoyed it.
Would recommend.
Best in the business?!
Been dealing with HireAPitch for over 5yrs. Never been disappointed by the venues they offer - the service they provide and care they give to what they offer is admirable.
It is a unique offering and they have maintained a great portfolio of venues and their prices have stayed consistantly competitive.
Easy to contact and flexible when Covid has tested the offering! Always trying to help and provide solutions. Moved to a secure payment system now too - makes admin very very easy! Keep up the good work J and team!!
Solid experience
Booked the whitechapel pitch and it didnt disappoint, from the pitch to the customer service, it was top notch
Always a good experience
Always a good experience.
We've been long time customers and David's always been forthcoming and made sure to help us out when needed. Very responsive and willing to accommodate where necessary. Cheers!
Booked a pitch at Whitefield School
Booked a pitch at Whitefield School. The guy who works there really made us feel welcome and went out of his way to show us around. Also, me and my friends booked at their vauxhall site. Fantastic surface with changing rooms right next to the pitch. Dont have any complaints. Cheerful staff 👍 keep up the good work guys and girls.
Great experience with hireapitch
Great experience with hireapitch. Helpful service and professional. Thank you. Would recommend.
Great service
Great service, great locations and very nice venues to play in. As a casual player ( meaning I don't have a set team ) it is nice for me to go to different venues, play football and meet new people. I have had no problems been a very positive and enjoyable exsperience.
Brilliant service
Amazing Service and Facilities
Used Haggerston School for a range of sports activites, Loved their new 5 and 7 Aside pitch, 9 aside pitch was amazing for our football games.
indoor and outdoor basketball was good for out summer and winter basketball games, sports hall had a lot of space and on site changing and shower rooms were a big bonus for our players.
main hall and gyms were perfect for out group meetings and had plenty of seating space for all 200+ of our clients.
will definitely be coming back to use more of the venue, Staff on site weekdays and weekends were very hospitable and helpful, keeping a eye on the on site carpark, and helping us direct people around and fixing any request we made.
out of all the companies we used , Hire A Pitch gave us the best service on a consistent basis.
Rude, Uninformative, Unprofessional: Use An Alternative
Called Hire-a-Pitch one evening, circa 3 months ago, to hire a court and 'spoke' to a young sounding character (20s?) who said his name was 'James'. I tried to ask a question about an ad for apparently available courts on their site that seemed to be a couple of years out of date re the policy of that particular institution (who stopped hiring to the public a few years ago but the HAP info was unchanged); however, if info was current it would be good news. This 'James' however, continuously interrupted and spoke over me - just repeating that he didn't know with barely a pause - and without actually listening to the basic question or even offering any assistance regarding an alternative venue. He was arrogant (in that anonymous location manner) and when I finally mentioned his not actually hearing the question posed he escalated to aggression, seamlessly increased his talking over me, said he would hang up and called me a telephone hero or similar. Then he hung up. I was stunned at how the entire attempted booking conversation had transpired and knew that I had been polite at all times so I called back but he did not answer the phone until I left it for 10 minutes. When he answered, he started with a similar attitude again but this time I addressed his professionalism and poor representation of his employers. He then listened to the question (perhaps embarrassed) but did not apologize for his previous errant and unprofessional, even threatening, behaviour and ultimately proved to be unhelpful in any way. I left it at that rather than report him/jeopardize his job, but neither I nor my associates intend to attempt to use this service ever again.
Rude, Awful, Dishonest Company, DO NOT USE HIREAPITCH
I booked a football pitch via Hireapitch, a few days in advance of the required use date and was hugely disappointed when I received an email from them only a few hours before the time that the actual hire was due to take place, advising me that maintenance to the venue had been scheduled, and as such, (despite my prepaid booking) the ground was now unavailable. I contacted the firm to voice my disapproval (I had after all shelled out £99 for 60 minutes of hire. I was met with a rude and entirely unhelpful member of staff who suggested that we switch our booking in Bermondsey (South London) to a venue in Ealing (West London) I declined this offer and after a frosty exchange, he actually ‘hung up’ on me.
Assuming I had simply called up whilst the member of staff had had a bad day, I left it and I contacted them the following day, only to come into contact with the same sales staff who again obstinately refused me any help.
I wrote to the company requesting a refund and was advised (in writing) that hireapitch not would issue me my refund of the money I paid, on the condition that I wrote a review stating that they were a good company and that they handled my complaint well and that I also agreed to remove any negative feedback or comments that I posted about them on social media. I declined ths and insisted on simply receiving a refund. At this, I was told (in writing) that ‘Hireapitch’ would ‘Welcome any legal action’
In all my years, I have not come across a more nasty and clueless firm. I will today, do the following
1: Post unabridged copies of our correspondence online via my various social media accounts, in order to alert potential customers to the perils of using this entirely unprofessional firm.
2: Initiate a section 75 Chargeback to recover the monies owed to me in respect of the cancelled hire agreement (Cancelled by them)
3: Report this to trading standards (I have already reported this and on seeing the evidence, the trading standards officer who I corresponded with, has advised that, as this is such a serious and blatant abuse of the consumer credit act, they will investigate immediately)
4: I will compile a covering letter complete with copies of all the reviews on trust Pilot and circulate this to the asset manager of each venue Hire A Pitch works with. This will alert them to the perils of using this entirely unprofessional firm to manage their property hire.
Pitch hirers beware. It is simply not worth using this firm. I have clear evidence to support my assertion that they are unprofessional, act illegally and have no understanding as to their actual obligations to their customers. Do not do it. Do not use this firm.
Hell of customer service .I was told I…
Hell of customer service .I was told I could book a pitch by Alice and then some other guy tells me I have to block book 10 weeks. That I was talking out of my ##### and hang up the call on me
RUBBISH Customer Service
Bookings are ok, but any problems arise and you can't rely on them to sort it out properly. The staff are very unprofessional and speak to you in a manner that is condescending and rude.
Disappointed with them over and over again. Will not be booking with them again due to their ridiculous customer service.
Played in a 5 a side league in London…
Played in a 5 a side league in London Bridge for 2 years and it has always been great fun. The opposition are always nice and just here to play football, the pitch is a good quality and designed perfectly for 5 a side and the standerd of refing is high
Awfull company
Awfull company, do yourself a favour and DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! We booked them for rounders in the park, the umpires were not wearing white tshirts with the company name on them as we were advised, so it took a while to find them. One of them turned up with what looked like a spliff in his hand, looking completely stoned out of his head and started to pester the team for food and going through our carrier bags searching for food. The team was always going to offer them food but his behaviour was very desperate and craving. He didn't keep the correct score and was more disruptive then organised and professional. When I contacted the company the next day, I was told he wasn't stoned and that he had hay fever, I have never known hay fever to give people the munchies. The sales guy was not interested in our complaint and continued to stick by it being just hay fever. Even if it was hay fever it's pretty desperate behaviour and not what we paid £420 for! If I was the manager or sales guy I would be really concerned that someone representing the company was behaving in this manner. I had 37 people complain to me the next morning about this young mans erratic behaviour and I was expecting the company to deal with this complaint more professionally. He said the young man works in a nursery in the day so he doesn't smoke spliffs!!! I mentioned that the team could smell marijuana on him and the reply back was that there were 2 people sitting on the bench nearby smoking it - they weren't near a bench so that theory is out of the window. Shoddy response to shoddy behaviour. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY when things go wrong they won't give money back or even work towards a more satisfactory ending.
