Could not ask for a better, more professional and customer centred service. The team organised hassle free car hire and even accommodated my hesitations and last minute changes! The price was extremely competitive but what is way better than the big websites is the personal touch offered. Could not recommend more highly and will most definitely use them again!

Fantastic service. Very helpful staff. I have been using hire cars in Spain for years and never had a problem. Very very helpful recently when our flight home had been cancelled and we weren't sure how much longer we would need the car for. All sorted in a phone call. Martin couldn't have been more helpful. Meant so much at such a stressful time.

I read many horror stories about people being ripped off by Car Hire Companies in Spain. After reading reviews about Hire Cars in Spain I booked with them. I had a first class experience with them and had no trouble with Centauro who the car was hired from. Would highly recommend Hire Cars in Spain and will definitely use them in future. I've been using Hire Cars in Spain for several years and have found them to be the most accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful and the best price of all the other companies I used previously.
To be honest, their service level is so good, I hardly ever carry out a price comparison anymore for two reasons:
1/ I can check to see if their price falls and when it does, I cancel at no penalty and re-book
2/ For the service they provide I dont mind if if I pay a few pounds more.

And before you ask; no I dont work for them, no I dont know anyone who does, I'm just a happy client!

and have never had a problem. It’s only a short drive from Alicante airport the bus is never to long in coming.I would recommend full to full on the car hire.

Great company, very easy to deal with,as enabling agents, second to none, but unfortunately they do not have any control over the service received from the car hire company your contract is placed with.

I hire cars in Spain on average for 3 to 4 weeks every other month.
I have used HCIS repeatedly for the last five years and I much prefer to use them then go directly to the hire car company or anyone else.
I have always had good service from them and most importantly good advice when dealing with Spanish car hire companies.

We have also been regular customers of Martin and Gordon for a good number of years now.
They are always competitive and with excellent customer service, most car rental companies are online agents and nowhere to be seen when you have a problem, not these people, they want you to be satisfied and we always are, first class company.

I've used Martin and Hire Cars in Spain several times over the last few years, all occasions being a pleasure to deal with.
I had a bad experience with one of the car hire companies last year, who enforced us paying the top up insurance before allowing us to take the car, despite me telling them we had our own annual excess policy. Martin proved invaluable in helping us get a refund.
