Hired is great. Beware that employers waste time.
I actually really like the idea and general implementation of what Hired is doing. Having a place where employers can review my credentials and reach out to me if they think I would be a good fit or if they like my credentials is great. Adds a lot of value to my job searching.
However, thus far, I've had more employers than not reach out to me about applying to a position or discussing a position within their company only to go multiple days without a response and eventually ending in an email saying that I don't fit their qualifications for the role.
Employers should be penalized if they blindly reach out to candidates and waste the time of said candidates.

Hey Adam! Thank you for your feedback. Sorry that your experience with some of our companies was not ideal. While we do see companies go dark after requesting interview on occasion, it is rare and tends to occur with larger companies where the wires can get crossed more easily. Hopefully, this is just a string of bad luck. If you continue to experience companies going dark, however, connect with your CX rep to let them know. They can ping a certain company's Hired Account Manager to try to get the ball rolling that way!

I like the no- nonsense clear questions

Companies were just putting in salaries…
Companies were just putting in salaries and locations that they saw you wanted, and not what the job was actually for. All 3 companies I talked to didn't actually have positions that matched the salary/location that they initially claimed

Hey Nishanth. Thanks for the review! You are correct that there are fewer companies on Hired versus public forums like LinkedIn or Indeed. As we are a closed, curated marketplace to which companies (just like candidates) must receive invite to participate, there are fewer opps on Hired over all, yes. However, in theory, they are higher in quality. Thank you again for helping us improve the Hired platform!

Haven't really gotten any quality interview requests. Some of the roles that I have received also seem to be for junior level engineers. Seems like the same few set of companies.

As a result, roles of a certain level may be in high demand while others are not. Generally speak, we do tend to see more mid-level that senior-level on Hired. This is not to say the latter doesn't exist on the platform, but they are fewer and farther between. I'd also encourage you to connect with your Hired CX representative to see if there is anything you can do to perhaps tailor your profile to better target such roles.
