Absolutely disgraceful customer service – avoid
My experience with Spobik AB / HockeyStore has been appalling from start to finish and is, without exaggeration, the worst customer service I have dealt with in years.
Before Christmas I placed multiple orders, and almost everything that could go wrong did.
Order 565757:
One of the items was a Vizion goalie stick. When the delivery arrived, the box had clearly been opened and was completely empty. I contacted customer service and spoke to someone named Hugo, who asked whether I wanted a replacement or a refund. I confirmed a refund, as I had already been forced to replace the stick due to the delay. Weeks later, no refund has been issued and no follow-up communication has been received.
Warranty claim – XF Ghost stick:
I also contacted them regarding a warranty replacement for an XF Ghost stick that broke within the first week of use. I emailed as instructed and received absolutely no response. Once again, I had to replace the stick myself because they simply ignored the issue.
Order 580820:
I ordered a pair of CCM XF Pro skates for my son before Christmas. The delivery did arrive, but the box contained CCM XF 70 skates instead — a completely different and cheaper model. This error remains unresolved.
I have emailed multiple times, including a formal complaint and a final escalation. Not a single reply. Their phone number is permanently set to voicemail, effectively cutting off any real way of contacting them. At this point, it feels like the company is deliberately avoiding customers once money has been taken.
Missing items, incorrect items, ignored warranty claims, no refunds, no responses — this is not bad luck, it’s systemic failure. The complete lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable, especially for a company selling high-value hockey equipment.
I am now being forced to pursue chargebacks and escalate through consumer protection channels simply to recover money for goods that were either missing, broken, or wrong.
If you value your money, your time, or any form of after-sales support, do not use this company. Once something goes wrong, you are completely on your own.
