We booked the Dukes Lodge for one week in July as a family party of 12 and two dogs and can thoroughly recommend the accommodation
The facilities are first class with excellent outdoor seating areas all bedrooms had en-suite showers and some with baths and also tvs. The dogs particularly loved the fenced paddock at the rear which allowed them to run free.
It is also far enough away from the road so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings
It’s was so good that we are considering returning.
Simon our contact was very helpful in explaining everything , and there is even a downstairs bedroom for the less mobile guest
Dedicated dog room and shower was also invaluable especially in the hot weather we had

Great rural location. Lots of good walks, over paths and ancient woods. Cottage owners really helpful and welcoming. Recommended. And good value.

A large and exceptionally well equipped house ideal for large family groups.
Well located for Lymington and Milford on Sea, as well as Everton village. Note that the house is on a busy road with traffic noise, but is well secured for kids and dogs.
The agent was readily accessible, friendly and responsive.

The cottage and Warkworth were an ideal location for accessing the villages, towns and beaches.
The cottage itself was perfect. Very comfortable and excellent facilities and equipment.

The company Holiday Cottages was the middle man and we had no problems there, used there website and paid them etc. Didn't have any problems on the holiday so do not know how they would react or how efficient they would be in fixing any issues that arose.
The owner was terrific and the house was great and reflected the adverts. We had a great time.

Perfect cottage, the venue is quaint and luxurious. The cottage has so many little additions that make the stay so enjoyable. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. The farmer stayed up late when we were struggling with our car, drove us to collect a rental and even sent us back some jewellery we left behind when leaving. We were so happy here, we will 100% be back

The Heron Cottage was a lovely place to stay. Clean, spacious and beautifully styled in a quiet location. Everything we needed was supplied. The complimentary basket was a welcomed surprise. I would definitely recommend this cottage and book it again.

Cottages.com are an excellent company, which I have used on many occasions. The place where I stayed most recently was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of The Dales.

This is a fantastic house, superbly appointed and in fabulous location with amazing views.

Could possibly have been cleaner and needed a little attention to some fixtures and fittings as they are showing signs of wear and disrepair.

Would be better with proper wardrobes in each bedroom for clothes hanging and maybe an extra TV or 2.

But overall a superb location for a relaxing holiday in a stunning property and grounds.
