The apartment was ideal for taking our friends to from America, they loved every minute of their holiday

Great holiday with everything we needed. Comfortable, great atmosphere and within easy reach of countless great places to visit.

Everything was amazing, really liked the decor, very generous complimentary snacks / orange juice etc, and very comfy beds.

We had a very enjoyable stay at March Cottage; what particularly impressed us was the provision and use of environmentally friendly toiletries and cleaning products as well as a clear health and safety regime for evacuation of the building (with emergency lighting) and electrical safety etc. This is something that has often been woefully lacking in other holiday cottages that we have stayed at.
We loved the rewilded garden and its positive impact on wildlife and the unoverlooked seating areas in both the garden and external courtyard. The cottage itself is accessed via a busy main road but is well set back behind other buildings and is very quiet.
The car space adjacent to the cottage is quite tight as indicated and we decided to use the free village car park instead. This is only a very short walk away and is easily accessed via the rear gate. It’s also possible to park in the main road for unloading and loading and this all worked fine for us.
We appreciated the ‘Welcome Pack ‘ of local goods and the greeting card and our interaction with the owner was very friendly.
Overall the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. The stairs from the kitchen to the snug area are a bit of a challenge (but we survived!) but everything else makes for a comfortable stay

Honey pot cottage Weymouth. Awful Shouldn’t be rented. It was very unsafe probably wouldn’t pass Gas Safe the cooker had no symbols on the front so you couldn’t tell if the cook was on or off. And the ignition didn't work so you had to lean over it and listen and smell before using a camping gas igniter. The glass shower screen on the bath was not properly attached so when you climbed into the shower you couldn’t touch it. We left the Honeypot cottage Weymouth Following day. And complained to Holiday cottage’s co . Uk. And sent numerous emails and tel calls. They just said the owner would not refund you anything and Tuff really . We could take it further but they are such a Bad company th deal with. They obviously just want the owners cut of the money. Which they seem to have forgotten comes from us. It was not a cheap holiday cottage and we have had many great cottages over the last 4 years. We are walking the coast path. So all we can do is to write awful reviews everywhere and hope it hits there pockets as they hit our .

Not recommended for unstable walkers. Also parking was nearly impossible to unload due to the size of the road . Only one toilet. But Appledore is beautiful the village is great for a holiday. Great pubs great shops great fish &chip shops also great views.

A quiet, comfortable cottage.

Good communications, plenty of updates and the feeling that there is someone on the end of the phone if you need them (we didn't!)

Beautiful house with everything you could need and close to all the local amenities, lovely big secure garden for the dogs, I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely book in the future

Everything was perfect.

As mentioned there were marks on the grout which could be bleached or cleaned differently. A very dark cottage even in the sunshine. Probably not an idea to use cream carpets are marks easily seen. Mostly a well furnished house and cleaned to a good standard but these things were off putting.

The cottage was well placed to visit places, except for the road works on the A40 which can not be helped.
The hosts were most helpful with any small problems we had at the cottage.

Location good 10mins walk from beach and centre, booking process straightforward.

I have had many arranged trips with them, all properties that I have stayed in have been just as described on the website.
Booking process is easy and updates are timely.

My experience of this company and the property they promoted led to the worst possible start to a holiday. Booked a cottage for a family holiday, It looked amazing in the heavily filtered pictures but the reality was very much different. It was filthy, dirty oven, dirty microwave with food splattered all over the inside and stench to match, sharp objects and electrical cables well within reach of a child in a moldy utility room which housed a fridge for the property, bed linen covered in whatever may blow in through the windows including pictures from the walls, some strangers HAIR on the bedside counters.
You can provide them with photographic evidence and don't worry, they have a complaints department that will take 30 days to make excuses for all of the above and then tell you to jog on and thanks for the payment that you'll never see again.
I could have spent the same money if not less on a very good hotel and if faced with similar issues they would have at least had the decency to provided a cleaner alternative immediately but with Holidaycottages.co.uk you either live with it until someone is sent to do the job that should have been done before you arrive or leave the property and loose all your money. Given the zero accountability I've experienced from this company, I would never recommend them and urge others to be cautious too.

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday cottage in North Wales and genuinely couldn't fault it. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Every little detail had been thought of, making it feel like a real home from home. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a first-class place to stay in North Wales.

Return of deposit handled badly, taken too long and I had to supply my bank account details again via email which feels unprofessional and insecure
