We had a lovely week in the cottage. The garden is fantastic, really large and plenty of garden furniture. The cottage is great. The bedrooms are lovely, good sizes and comfy. The kitchen is really well stocked, plenty of crockery and cutlery, we weren't short of anything. If you have children then the second lounge has plenty of things to keep them entertained. The cottage is just across the road from a great pub, fab food and we had no noise or disturbance. The location is ideal for the area, with most places only 10-15 miles away.

We loved the location as we could walk down to the shingle beach in a couple of minutes.
The cottage worked well for 6 adults. We appreciated it all being on one level & having good parking for 3 cars. When we arrived all was clean and tidy, also the kitchen was well equipped.
We would recommend this cottage to friends

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Springfield cottage. The copper back baths, grill hut, the garden etc etc etc were all top notch!! A perfect base in a beautiful setting with great hosts. 10/10

Fantastic place to stay. The property was clean, had everything you needed and comfy beds. There was plenty of walking to be done straight from the property and easy to access the surrounding area. The welcome pack was amazing and we look forward to visiting again at some point.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location, with lovely walks straight from the doorstep. We really enjoyed the setting and how well presented everything was.
The only disappointment was that the promised EV charging worked for just one day, so EV drivers should be wary.

I'm not keen on Holidaycottages, who seem to promote over-priced cottages that in our experience are often poorly managed, cleaned and maintained. Our last cottage was just that; in a beautiful location, but the property itself was grubby, badly needed a deep clean and some basic maintenance of carpets, blinds, garden etc. the property did not live up to its description and was not good value for money in our view. Booking process was straightforward but holiday cottages always seem to want the balance weeks before the holiday is due and they do not appear on 'Give as you live' as a charity donor. I would use another provider if I could, or contact the owners direct.

Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped with nice personal touches. Great position with good walking from the doorstep. Good WiFi and Apps on TV. Great view over Lingmoor Fell. Super space for 2 people although it does sleep 4.

Quite simply, it's just a great, well-equipped place to stay in a brilliant location. It's a real pleasure to walk straight out from the garden onto the beach. Every member of our family group (ages 11 to 82) agreed that we would like to visit again.

Everything you need is there in The cottage. Scarborough is only a short drive away or short bus journey. The local pub is very friendly and server good meals. Convenience store and Chip shop are near by as is the bus stops.

A beautiful, very well looked after cottage, in a fantastic setting.

Cottage was really good as described. Only issues we had was ant infestation in downstairs en suite. And cobwebs around the cottage. But generally the cottage was tidy and clean. All Equipment were in working order. Owners were friendly.
