The cottage is absolutely beautiful with a perfect enclosed garden for our dogs to roam in. It had everything we needed and we especially loved spending our evenings in the garden. It’s in a beautiful location with great walks for the dogs. We will definitely be recommending this cottage to anyone staying.

Beautiful accommodation set in a quiet and peaceful area. Well equipped and comfortable shepherds hut, plenty of things to do in the local area but also a comfortable place to relax.

The only reason for the Four Stars is because of the fact the bathroom situation did not work very well for us. Maybe I should have read the description more carefully. But a great cottage with all you could need for a short break.

Rosie rail cabin was perfect for our 3 day stay it was very clean the bed was so comfy & the views are amazing , location was great & the dairy barn on site serves good food & amazing cakes

We had the most wonderful stay at Oxwood Barn. The barn is perfect in every way. There is loads of room and every detail has been thought about, from the boot cupboard to the automatic hallway lights! It is immaculately clean and really well maintained. The secure garden and huge paddock were also a bonus and very much enjoyed by us and our three dogs.
The owners Simon & Janet are lovely, and on hand if you need them. The welcome basket is amazing 😊
There are some beautiful places to visit nearby and lots of public footpaths around the barn. There is a lovely pub about 20 mins walk away where we had a superb Sunday lunch.
We would love to return and would highly recommend this property.

Hosts have renovated the annex to a very high standard. 5 star accommodation! Attention to detail second to none.

Location: close to village amenities and close links in Edinburgh. Hosts are very accommodating.
