The only reason for the Four Stars is because of the fact the bathroom situation did not work very well for us. Maybe I should have read the description more carefully. But a great cottage with all you could need for a short break.

We booked through Holiday Cottages and were extremely impressed with the whole experience from start to finish. The booking process was straightforward, communication was excellent, and everything was clearly explained, making arranging our holiday completely stress-free.

The property we stayed in exceeded our expectations and was exactly as described, giving us confidence that Holiday Cottages carefully selects and accurately represents the properties they offer. Their attention to detail and professional service made the entire holiday run smoothly.

What stood out most was how easy it was to find and book a cottage that perfectly suited our needs. The quality of accommodation and the high standard of customer service have left a lasting impression.

Rosie rail cabin was perfect for our 3 day stay it was very clean the bed was so comfy & the views are amazing , location was great & the dairy barn on site serves good food & amazing cakes

We had the most wonderful stay at Oxwood Barn. The barn is perfect in every way. There is loads of room and every detail has been thought about, from the boot cupboard to the automatic hallway lights! It is immaculately clean and really well maintained. The secure garden and huge paddock were also a bonus and very much enjoyed by us and our three dogs.
The owners Simon & Janet are lovely, and on hand if you need them. The welcome basket is amazing 😊
There are some beautiful places to visit nearby and lots of public footpaths around the barn. There is a lovely pub about 20 mins walk away where we had a superb Sunday lunch.
We would love to return and would highly recommend this property.

The cottage was wonderful, but I found the multiple company names being used by the holidaycottages.co.uk and its partners or subsidiaries concerning and frustrating.

We booked two cottages with Holiday Cottages for our two week holiday in Scotland. Everything was very straightforward and clear, from selection through to booking and arriving. Both cottages exactly as described and pictured.

We had the best time at the cottage, it immediately felt like home. The layout it fantastic with lots of room, including in the kitchen. We loved using the hot tub and the undercover garden area was brilliant in the heat of the day. Very large garden all to yourself too, so we spent a lot of time in it. The setting in the surroundings was also fabulous, we were encouraged to explore the area and really enjoyed it. The recommendations of places to eat were well thought out, our recommendation is The Duck at Yeoford, we had 2 amazing meals there and it is a very simple short drive to get there. Thank you to the owners for welcoming us and making our stay so good.

The location and quality of this property was excellent. Fully equipped and modern with excellent amenities very close by. I would definitely recommend.

It's a great house, huge enough for you to feel you had space. There were 13of us, adults and teenagers and 2 dogs. We would definitely stay there again as we felt like we hadn't seen everything around the area.

A nice location with valued parking space (though very difficult to get into with a large car). However, it's uncomfortable with intense heat from the courtyard and no shade. Cleaning is totally inadequate - filthy sofa, cobwebs, grime and limescale. Kettle had to be descaled twice before we could use it. Fridge is tiny and crockery inadequate for 4 adults. Dangerous toilet set that slides off the rim. Cheap interior décor that's mismatched in style. Broken and faulty items have not been fixed for years, despite being raised by many visitors. For price I expected a more comfortable, thoroughly clean home that's well equipped.

We had a lovely week's stay at the Piggery. Great location for north and south coasts. Helpful, friendly and welcoming hosts. Would definitely return and recommend.
