Do not book with holiday Drew they are a nightmare we arrived at Alicante Airport waited 3 hours for transport phone the number on the paper never heard of Us phone the company in England told to catch a taxi then was told the hotel be booked is closed so they booked us into another one which was full board and we booked all inclusive the food wasnot very good but the rooms where ok I would not give them one star never book with them again we were there from the 16th to the 21st I advise anyone not to book with them

Bad, unsympathetic company

This company was really nice and helpful when I booked my holiday but when lockdown stopped me going they wouldn't refund my money. Then my friend who was coming on holiday with me died, but the company wouldn't refund his money either, they even charged me a single supplement because I would now be going on my own. Then 4 weeks before I was due to go I discovered the hotel I was booked into had been closed for 6 weeks and the company hadn't told me! When I told them this they still wouldn't refund my money and said they would find me another holiday but to date they haven't and now there is another lockdown. Very bad company- do not use!

I would advise people to keep well away…

I would advise people to keep well away from this company when looking to book a holiday. They have being telling lie after lie since March and it is now October 24th .
They have tried every way of not giving me a refund due to covid and even say when my flights are cancelled the hotel is still open. When i have contacted the hotel they don't even have a booking in my name.
People please be very very careful.

My holiday in May was cancelled due to COVID. I am probably one of the lucky ones, because I paid for the majority of the holiday on credit card, because I had a gut feeling at the point of booking (don't know why I booked, but they were so pushy at point of booking)
Had I not received a refund due to claim back on credit card, I would still be fighting my case for a refund. They are no longer a member of ABTA, so complaining to them is no use even though at the point of booking, they were members! (so exactly what is the point of ABTA?).
They ignored all email requests for refund, also put telephone down when requesting refund.
#AVOID, AVOID AVOID!

Holiday Dew and Travelopedia were…

Holiday Dew and Travelopedia were extremely unhelpful when sold a "Package Holiday", they would not cancel the holiday, as they described the "Package Holiday", as separate items put together. HOWEVER, on the Confirmation email, and, ATOL Certificate it clearly states "Package Holiday" with only a total price at the bottom of the page.
The reason for cancellation was because after we had booked, the UK Govt changed their advice for the destination, due to a significant outbreak of disease in the Canary Islands UK Citizens should not travel. But, Holiday Dew/Travelopedia would not budge. I contacted the Hotel and they confirmed they had not yet been paid, and if they had been paid, would gladly refund any monies paid. I put all of this to the "Travel Agent" and they were not willing to give a refund, despite under ABTA Regulations, "Package Holidays" under these circumstances should be refunded, I complained to ABTA but their response was less than useless. Be warned about Package Holiday protection, in my experience, there is none.
I am now, after I cancelled the Package Holiday, which was paid in full, and no refund issued, being bombarded by strange emails from both Holiday Dew and Travelopedia. The emails which contain either a copy of my complaint about them, or simply emails with little writing on them, except to say they are from either Holiday Dew or two from Travelopedia. They all contain an attachment, titled invoice or support, attachments either don't open, or open a Covid headed page, unreadable. I will not recommend these "Online Travel Agents". All of the above is true in my own experience.

We had a holiday booked for 4th October…

We had a holiday booked for 4th October 2020 to Crete.
I had looked at our flights a few weeks before the holiday and found out they had been cancelled.
I phoned HOLIDAY DEW and they said they knew nothing about the flights being cancelled.Plus the holiday can still go ahead even when I told them the flights were cancelled plus the UK government says we cant go to Crete unless its essential travel.
Holiday Dew are trying to sell us another holiday and pay lots more money.I contacted the hotel in Crete by email and they haven't received any money off HOLIDAY DEW.
I am trying to get a refund off HOLIDAY DEW.Like getting blood out of a stone.They wont refund any money to us even though the flights were cancelled and the hotel wasn't paid by them.
I have wrote emails plus a letter and have had no reply.Plus phoned them and they just put the phone down on you.
PLEASE DON'T ever use HOLIDAY DEW to book a HOLIDAY.
We have ended up on HOLIDAY in Cornwall with John Fowler holiday company and had a great HOLIDAY.

SHOCKING - Do not touch this company!!!

SHOCKING!! Do not touch this company, or TRAVELOPEDIA LTD.
We booked a holiday in February 2020 with them for the end of September 2020.
A couple of times we’ve emailed to ask if there was any information due to COVID-19 etc. We logged into EasyJet a few weeks ago and it showed the flights as cancelled.
At this point I directly emailed the hotel in Greece and their reply was that they had been closed all season.

I then emailed Holiday Dew all of this information, over a week before being due to go. We’ve heard nothing, until.....
The day before we were supposedly flying out (which is today!!) we received a bizarre garbled email (I wish I could attach a photo) in very poor English from the parent company TRAVELOPEDIA LTD, saying we have been reallocated to another hotel! But nothing about the cancelled flights or our transfers!
How are we going to get out there with no flights!?? 😂
RUBBISH COMPANY. Will never ever in my life, even with a gun to my head, ever book with them again.

This company is also part of Travelopedia. They are nothing but scammers. If you have a problem don't expect them to sort out anything. They have no intention of providing you a dream holiday, they want your cash nothing more. Go to the high street and book there because you have somewhere real to go to complain. These backstreet operators are laughing at our stupidity don't part with your cash.

Worst company I've ever known

Worst company ever, booked a holiday with them 7 weeks ago to egypt. Was sold a holiday package to a hotel full of problems. We were the only british in the hotel yet had fake reviews online. We were told by staff we are the first British here within the last year yet there were british reviews on there stating it is an amazing hotel. Staff and other guests (all egyptian) stare and mutter when walking past which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Food was vile and although booked an all inclusive with holidaydew we couldnt eat the selection of spaghetti on offer. A staff member came into our room while we were out and used our fresh towels and left a surprise in our toilet. We are currently still trapped at this hotel and tried emailing holidaydew to be ignored. We have complained to the hotel management and still things keep getting worse. We have had enough and preparing to take matters into our own hands and move hotels. STAY WELL AWAY FROM HOLIDAYDEW unless you want a holiday from hell

Absolutely vile company stay clear of!!! My poor mum lost all money hotel was closed but they were not informed. Everytime they have phoned for help they have been hung up on spoke over absolutely attrotius customer service!!!!!

Awful do not use this company still fighting for refund. Manners and attitude of staff is disgusting.. don’t respond to emails or calls. Wouldn’t even confirm our Holliday had been cancelled untill 4 days after we ment to fly...

If I could give a zero I would had…

If I could give a zero I would had nothing but problems from beginning to end with this awful company. We have been lied to conned out of more money for cancelled flights after being told they can’t give refunds and the law says they have to we were lied to more about situation, Jason Jones is a rude horrible excuse of a human and they all give different names with same voice. Please if your thinking of using this company read all the reviews and don’t as you will be lead a very expensive merry dance if you do

Poor customer service

Had a cruise and stay in US booked for June 2020, obviously due to CV-19 this was cancelled. Had no correspondence from the company and had to call numerous times to confirm which we were past from pillar to post with no resolve or accountability.

Due to work commitments, we can not reschedule at this time, so required a refund. Trying again to actually speak to someone was appalling and no response to any emails sent...they quickly picked up though when we called the new booking line.......!

Thankfully booked on a credit card, so we should receive a refund under Section 75, however the service we received from Holiday Dew was unacceptable and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
