So sexist! I co-own jointly home with my spouse, do all finances etc but correspondence sent only to him. Also huge delays in responding to any communication. I’d give minus 5 stars if I could.

its been almost a month

its been almost a month! and they still have not contacted the car repairs to start a quote. called them 6 times still to be waiting, not including sent a few emails. WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND!

This is a follow up to my last Hollard…

This is a follow up to my last Hollard Car Insurance review. After even more emails and phone calls asking me to verify that it was me that ran a red light and being fined by Police and in return, I again sending all correspondence relating to this incidence and telling them to verify from Vic Police themselves that I have never been issued with a fine, I finally got a phone call yesterday saying that they will discontinue their claim against me. In answer to their continual harrassment of me, I am changing my house Insurance that is with them to another company as I just don't trust them anymore.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They openly blamed me for everything, and interestingly enough, two days later we found out it was their issue. No call, no email to apologise, and over the phone, they were adamant it was my fault.

Worst Roadside Assitance

Called my Insurance Roadside as Car Battery was dead. I was ready to replace the battery. The Hollard Roadside person refused to make sure that my car memory is not lost once the battery replaced. Then I declined the replacement from him. 3 Years ago NRMA changed the battery by attaching a backup battery so that car memory is not lost. Next day I went to SuperCheap auto who did replace the battery in 10min and it was cheaper and had 40months of guarantee instead of 24months.

By Far The Worst Insurance company I…

By Far The Worst Insurance company I Have Ever Been WithIn 30 years of having insurance for different products this was offered through Commonwealth bank
Worst experience i have ever had with an insurance company
1. up to 4-5 hr wait times to make contact
2. long delays in transfer of information
3. no case manager so every time you do get through you spend all the time trying to explain the same thing, as they fail to get familiar with your claim
4. unfriendly staff members
5. i am still trying to get a claim sorted going on 4 months now for air conditioning failure - in Queensland over summer
conclusion
1. Commonwealth bank should not use this company and promote it to clients
2. Hollard expect you to just get so frustrated you will just give up
3. if i could give negative 5 stars i would
4. by far the most stressful, frustrating, painful experience ever with an insurance company
5. if you are looking for an insurance and reading this run and run fast to someone else.

Leave and get insurance from someone else pay a bit more but a piece of mind

Never have I had a bunch of no hopers to talk too
It’s the biggest waiting game on a phone
Leave them and get another insurance company not worth the stress dealing with these no hopers
They must get there personal off the streets as they have known idea probably pay them dole money
I’m from WA and going back to somebody reliable
The RAC costs more but talk to people who know what they are talking about 😀😀😀😀😀
Don’t insure with Hollard don’t waste your money 💸💸💸💵

I have a Customer Feedback Reference…

I have a Customer Feedback Reference No-C2402139917. Prior to Hollard taking over from CommInsure, I had been pleased with all aspects when dealing with CommInsure 😊However since then my opinion and having just read the reviews is clarified in stating that the dealings I have had recently are justifiably accurate. I have been a loyal customer for many years, my daughter worked for the Commonwealth Bank for a period of thirteen years in managerial positions. Those people that know me would tell you that I am pedantic, somewhat Obsessive Compulsive in recording and maintains records. Being bushfire season, I was reviewing what I thought was my current policy. However, without any notification on your behalf my policy had been cancelled under false and fabricated allegations by the underwriter stating a criminal record was involved in the last ten years. To say I was annoyed was an understatement. Don’t know who or where the underwriter accessed this total fabrication but I would personally like his credentials. This constitutes Defamation of Character. Your company is very happy to take people’s money but unfortunately are extremely reluctant to pay (see reviews). This company totally lacks communication and follow up skills, unfortunately we need Insurance although my faith is quite distorted with your company, I have to continue to insure with you at this time. One very disgruntled customer, bring back CommInsure!!

Terrible company

Terrible company. They take too long to fix your appointments. They dont take you serious, and if several things happens to your car, you have to make 2 appointments.

This insurance company is a joke

This insurance company is a joke. Be very careful what you are getting. Their commonwealth bank insurance policy is useless. They have an excuse why not to pay everything. If I told you some stories your head would spin. The accident has to happen exactly as they describe or it’s not converted. I’m out of pocket 30k plus I’ve paid for useless insurance for more than five years. Hillard. I’m only just starting. People need to know what you are like.

Don’t waste your time!!!!

Don’t waste your time with this fraudulent company!!!!! No contact, no service, liars, and make excuses to not pay you.
I made a comprehensive car claim on 31/7/23 for a not at fault accident. Was told I would be contacted by an assessor, I made a follow up call on 7/8/23 and was told it will take 3-5 days to review the quotes and someone would be in contact.
I then got a text message on 10/8/23 to say someone will be in contact within 5 business days. Not contact. I called on 21/8/23 to follow up again and was told someone will call by the end of the week. No contact. I called on 25/8/23 and asked for a call back and no one called back!
I then called on 28/8/23 and was told they are still waiting for quotes and assessor will call me when it’s received.
I then finally got a call on 1/9/23 by assessor (Darrel) who confirmed it was a total loss and he advised me to ring total loss team to push for my payment.
I then rang again on 4/9/23 and was told I would be paid between 5-10 business days, I was sent the email which asked for my details and sent it straight away on the 4/9/23.
Waited 10 business days and still no payment! I have been on hold for hours, I’ve also sent emails that no one has responded to, I have contacted the complaints department and no response from them either.
I’m honestly disgusted in the lack of service.
I then rang again on 18/9/23 and they said the last person didn’t put the payment through, was sent an email saying the payment would come through in 2-5 business days, waited 5 business days and no payment!
Rang again on 25/9/23 after being on hold all day! They told me the payment was rejected and they didn’t know why and would ring me the next morning to confirm the payment will go through in 48hrs. No phone call and no payment again!
Called again today and on hold for hours to be told they don’t know why it hasn’t gone through.
Don’t waste your time with this fraudulent company! They are liars and will take your money and waste your time!
I’m telling everyone I know to never use Hollard insurance and now contacting a lawyer.

It's a scam. they waste your time and money!

This Insurance is connected with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. I'm customer and I had a problem with my rental property in December. Now it's been 4 months and still waiting to get my claim processed. They are dragging this matter. Several calls made. Each person says something else everyday. I would not recommend this insurance at all. Do not do any insurance with them or with CBA. You will waste your time and money!

STEER CLEAR OF HOLLARD

Do not buy insurance from this company. We have had a claim in for over 6 months now and it has been an absolute shambles (i've even been sent someone else's paperwork) and most recently they are trying to charge me twice for excess !!! And NOBODY EVER gets back to you. To say they are incompetent is a compliment !

DO NOT BUY ANY INSURANCE from Hollard or ANY OF their subsidiaries

Happy to take your money each month but make it impossible to get your claim addressed. (I paid for premium Home & Contents Cover) Never made a Claim in my life before and this is how I am treated
Lodged a Claim in February 2021 and it is still not settled / complete
They do not respond to emails, they are in breach of the "Code of Conduct" of which they are a member
I have an ongoing Complaint with AFCA because of their breaches
They must pay People on the "Feefo" Platform to write positive reviews.
They are deceptive, evasive and encourage unconscionable business practices.
