Terrible Bookkeeping
Everything works fine...for the first month.
The interface is great, easy to understand and works nicely. The problem are the people behind it, the accountants that are meant to help you know nothing about how Finnish tax work or anything else, they make mistake after mistake and you are the one that needs to pay for it at the end.
Was a nice idea but...
Was a nice idea and I liked the interface and the ease of use. But then, they started charging account fees. Charging fees for a good product isn't the issue, but not being upfront or sneaky about it - that's where I take issue.
Split the payment into two
It would be good if the developers fixed the following thing. When two invoices were sent to one client, and he paid them in one payment, then at this moment I cannot indicate to the program that this is the payment of two invoices. As a result, there is one bill as overpaid, and the second as unpaid.

Best financial platform for small businesses.
Been using Holvi for the past 3 years and I love every part of that platform. Easy to add receipts to card purchases, e-invoicing, clear reporting and all at a very affordable price. If you are a small business and need a tool to manage all your finances...just get Holvi. You will not regret it a bit.

The single best thing that has happened to our business apart from business being good :D
I've never felt less stressed and more in control of our company finances than I do with Holvi. We're a small two man shop, but I could see this expanding into something far bigger as well. Holvi has allowed me to understand and prepare for the future in all aspects of our daily money flow. Their predictions of loss/gain + Vat etc is fantastic and I no longer need to spend time doing excel on everything. Thank you Holvi!

I have just positive experience. A really good friend of mine give me Holvi as a tip for modern banking.
Got an invoice for a 6 year old INACTIVE account
We signed up in 2015 to try (the then FREE) Holvi. We have been sent in invoice in October 2021 for a free account which was inactive since end of 2015 !!!
Furthermore, we weren't even allowed to delete our account due to outstanding charges, which means further charges might have incurred while we were disputing the first invoice. After multiple messages to the support team, our account was closed with a delay of multiple weeks.
Holvi is insisting on us paying the invoice for an account which was inactive for 6 (!!!) years and threatening us with a debt collection agency.
We told Holvi support multiple times that we are willing to pay the invoice (because what they do might to be legal, even though it is a really bad practice).
But in order for us to pay the invoice, we need an invoice with our business address on it. Holvi is refusing to issue a correct invoice and does insist that we do pay an invoice which doesn't even an address printed on it.
We are forwarding this to our attorney now, and he will sue Holvi to issue a correct invoice.
Holvi might be a great platform for…
Holvi might be a great platform for those with a small business, but they are terrible at business insight. Perhaps that is why they had to lay off so many of their employees in the past, and very likely again, in the future? The upgrading of free accounts to a paid model without asking for consent is a violation of European data protection agencies and many if not all European consumer laws. This has not have much to do with not reading emails, this has to do with illegal business practices. I'm not allowed to encourage people to take certain actions, but I would like to let you all know I have filed a complaint with the consumer agency in Finland, KKV, and GDPR regarding the illicit use of my personal data.
Signed up for a FREE account 2020 and got upgraded without approval to a paid subscription.
We signed up for a FREE account in 2020 spring and haven't used Holvi's services after signup. Never had any money moving through Holvi or anything.
Today we are threatened with payments being sent to a dept collection agency for a subscription that we never signed up for or used.
Holvi moved our free account to paid subscription without our permission even when we haven't logged in to their platform in over 1,5 year or ever used it.
Customer service didn't see our 1,5 year long inactivity as a valid reason for not to collect this subscription payment. But rather told us to pay or they will move the invoice to debt collection. Unbelievable and feels really illegal way of getting paid subscriptions.
