Wishlist

I appreciate that the profile information comes in a limited but i really wish the app had a decline/accept choice as soon as request arrives. Sometimes i see it but most times not.
I also really really wish that old students who have declined could be removed from my booking status page. You say they will stay on for two years!!! How ridiculous! Clear them out! Example Michael and thuhanh. Please delete!

You may always decline/accept booking requests on the booking status page as soon as one arrives. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "most times not". Please kindly reach out to our host support team if you are having trouble finding it.
You may remove old students from booking status page as long as they did not pay to book or tour your homestay. In this case, the booking status are removed within 2 years. Thanks for your understanding.

Very good platform, messaging could use improvements

The support team is very responsive and helpful when I first booked a student from the website. As a host, I find it easy to find students looking for homestay. The host and student could message each other before they could decide to book the place. Please don't hesitate to book a homestay on this website if you find one. There’s no re-activation in my account…

There’s no re-activation in my account is involved but charged me $500 stating it’s for re-activation but my account was completely verified by their staffs through the process, not a re-activation from an old account. I requested for the refund. But Homadorma just ignored with no response. It is not safe that once they took host/student money, won’t look into refund even it’s not charged by their rules. I requested them to look into their own rules and refund me the $500 for so many times. But still received no response. Such a bad ripping experience.
No record of cancellation in this account. It is a new account thoroughly verified by your staff. It is not an old re-activation account. There's no mention of a not related fee taken from a new set up account without my consent. Please look into my response sent through the system, investigate the matter and refund me.

Homadorma’s service fees are transparently listed on our website at https://www.homadorma.com/en/pricing. We do not have any other fees, except in cases where host penalties apply. Unfortunately, in the past, some hosts have cancelled confirmed homestay bookings prior to the arrival of the student, causing major disruptions to their travel plans. To discourage this behavior, we have implemented penalties in accordance with our guidelines, which can be found at https://www.homadorma.com/en/helpcenter/host/common-booking-questions#4. These penalties are communicated to the host if they cancel a confirmed booking prior to the arrival of the student.

We offer email support to both students and hosts, and we make every effort to respond to most inquiries within one business day. Our records indicate that you were penalized for previously cancelling a confirmed homestay booking prior to student arrival. We acknowledge that you have chosen to express your dissatisfaction with Homadorma by leaving a negative review, specifically in regards to the penalty you received.
