Total waste of £900 imo.
Disclaimers on everything that is most important.
Couldn't even look to see if lead pipe is feeding the property because washing up liquid bottles in the way.
Heating couldn't be tested because it wasn't on , but said the radiators were the right size and should be sufficient. Very strange considering there's no radiators in the property because it's all under floor heating. After reading this i realised the whole report wasn't worth the paper it was written on.
Nothing but generic copy and paste comments.

I used Home Surveying and it was super easy, and good quality. It was strait forward to arrange the survey. The cost was very competitive but the fact it was the cheapest quote didn't impact on the quality of the service. Iqbal (the surveyor) was punctual, professional and thorough. The report came through the next working day. I've never had a survey before so I have no comparison, but I can say this was a good experience overall.

Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Matty went above and beyond and kept in touch with us before and after visiting the property. Can’t fault the service even as far as answering queries promptly outside of business hours. We got recommended a few surveyors from our estate agent but we got a full in depth quote from home surveying within the hour which was significantly cheaper than what others offered. The saying goes “pay cheap, pay twice” I can honestly assure you this isn’t the case with home surveying.

The turn around time has been impressive and pain free. Received the full in-depth, when I say in depth, I mean not leaving a single leaf unturned, with in 3 working days of carrying out the survey. We haven’t had to chase for any updates.

We were contacted at every stage including booking with the vendor, contacted prior to arrival to ask for any specific attention (which Matty didn’t disappoint) and even after carrying out the work.

If we ever require your services again, we know where you are. Matty is a credit to you and the company.

Easy service to instruct. Kept informed at every stage. Survey was detailed and easy to understand with examples of how faults found might develop and likely consequences of ignoring. Prevented me from making an expensive mistake and buying a property that looked fine but required extensive work.

Very detailed report on my home survey, although I got ignored when I asked for further information regarding the value of the property- despite the fact they advertise any queries would be answered later, disappointed after such a huge cost.

We have been very impressed with the end to end service we received. We felt informed and our questions were answered promptly. Our surveyor (Mark) was friendly and professional and communicated with us throughout. We received our report very quickly and this has enabled us to move quickly to the next stage of our house purchase. Very good value for money, I would recommend this company.

READ THIS REVIEW. I was initially concerned booking with Home Surveying as their quote was significantly cheaper than their competitors (a good thing, I know!) and I specifically read their 1 star reviews and was deliberating whether I should use them. However, I reached out to Andy and raised my concerns. He sent through the T&Cs (after a previous 1 star review said they didn’t share these), he named the surveyor in my area (Ben) and confirmed he was certified and experienced and provided me with availability (again, a previous 1 star review stating you booked and waited a while for availability). So I booked!

Ben proactively reached out and asked if there were any focus areas. 3 working days after the survey the 79 page report arrived. It was incredibly detailed and well put together. However, as a first time buyer I still had some questions. I reached out to Ben and within 20 minutes we were on the phone and he was talking me through the report in layman terms. Ben provided excellent insight, honesty and realism. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

You should capitalise on this bargain survey which provides excellent service!

Mattty was fantastic. He completed our initial valuation survey very quickly and we had a full detailed pack the next day. Later in the process I found myself in a pickle where I needed to extend the valuation. I called and booked the office and matty was able to complete it a day ahead of schedule. 10/10 for service. The process was made simple from start to finish and the service was friendly and clear, Peter Hart conducted a level 2 survey and was quick and efficient and my report was easy to read. Great service, super responsive and really friendly which made the process easy for a first time buyer.

I was pleased that the survey was done quickly .the results were back within just a few days .
The survey was more in depth than expected. It picked up a few things that I hadn't realised , it's made me look into the purchase a bit further , before going ahead with the sale . Would definitely recommend home surveying .

We began by speaking with Hayley who was excellent and quickly arranged a survey on the property we were looking to buy. The surveyor Scott Dowthwaite was also excellent. The survey was very thorough, with photos to illustrate each point and allowed us to discuss the issues with the vendor. Scott also was happy to discuss the issues after we had time to read the report. He definitely went " the extra mile" and ee will definitely recommend him to anyone who is seeking a surveyor

We had a survey done by Home surveying just recently on our hopefully soon 1st home and it went very well. From talking to lovely Hayley, quick response from Evie, to having a chance to speak with absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, professional but at the same time friendly surveyor Scott about a few things from the survey report. Really great experience. Price for the survey was really reasonable, too. I would definitely recommed them to any friends or family.

Was really pleased to of picked home surveying to carry out our first home survey. They was professional, made everything clear and advised us on different issues which they had flagged up.

Due to Pete shining a light on the issues with the property , we decided against the purchase. The issues which we was shown would have costs thousands in repairs and wasn’t something we would have been able to carry out. Which of course in turn saved us huge sums. The price of the survey is more than fair and absolutely worth it.
