I support 38 degrees …
I make a small monthly donation to 38 degrees because they take on issues that are important to me. Ethical, honest, and upholding decency. And they achieve change - often so much needed at times.
38 degrees is working to stop corruption
38 degrees is working to hold power to account. As a part of the community it is important that our views are heard and 38 degrees brings a lot of people from different walks of life together, gives us a voice loud enough to be heard and change the mind of the government when they try doing things that are against the many because the few want more power.

Campaigns are targeted on key social issues and public surveyed about what is important to them. NHS, Safety ans environmental issues are very important to me
Why I value 38 degrees.
38 degrees offers a platform for people to share their concerns about important social issues. It provides an opportunity to inform ourselves about local and national issues affecting us or fellow citizens and to express our support of relevant. I believe it is an asset to a democratic society!
We need 38 Degrees for fairness in society
38 degrees usually campaigns in areas that I support and they achieve success with their perseverance and persuasion. We need 38 degrees because they help to highlight legitimate causes to a wider audience and this enables us to express opinions and support causes that otherwise may be missed.
38 Degrees are the business!!
38 Degrees seem to campaign on issues about which I care deeply and they expose questionable behaviour by huge firms and scurrilous individuals. I am now unable to take action other than support petitions or write to my MP or offending firms so am very grateful to 38 Degrees for providing me with an outlet for my political leanings.
38 Degrees
38 Degrees, do a GREAT JOB collecting ordinary people's points of view on important matters. Uninformed people seem to criticise them on sites like Facebook and others and I don't understand why. They want to ensure that we the people are not being taken for a ride by Water Companies etc and also they want to protect the NHS. I have supported them for years.
Excellent
It is an excellent organisation and I am grateful to it because it enables my voice to be heard on matters which I feel are very important.
38 Degrees challenges the government.
38 Degrees does a lot of good for the public, they stand up for a common sense approach and campaign to stop the government getting away with things that would otherwise go unchallenged.
Thank you 38 degrees
I love the fact that they highlight many injustices and, With just a couple of clicks, I can add my name to campaigns like, Blocking bonuses for Thames water bosses or reversing cuts on winter fuel payments. I have been a supported and contributor for a very long time and will continue. Thank you 38 degrees for doing the research for me and following through to make changes happen!
I don't remember ever not living in…
I don't remember ever not living in 'interesting times' or everhaving the gut-punching headlines rolling in so thick and fast. 38 degrees are often the first people to come up with an action before I've had to say 'o no, not more harm from the oligarchs ruining our lives and our only planet. Thank you 38 Degrees

Let us all stand up and be counted for the decency of humanity, in our own country and further afield
We need 38 Degrees
I feel strongly about many issues, but I find it so helpful to have 38 Degrees emails landing in my inbox on a regular basis, which makes me think about them, so I take action.
They are great at reminding us what is important, and brave in the way they stand up for what they feel is right.
I send a monthly donation, and feel that it is money well spent,

Feeling part of something that is trying to make a difference to people's lives and situations across the world by trying to persuade people in power to see the bigger picture and be more realistic in their decision making
38 Degrees has focused the campaign to…
38 Degrees has focused the campaign to protect and enhance the National Health Service in the UK. This is its prime achievement, and it has gained recognition and respect in Parliament for doggedly pursuing this aim. It has also drawn attention to, and petitioned against, infringements of human rights and freedoms in the UK. It has saved me much effort in political campaigning, helping me to write to my MP and ministers. I have been supporting it financially for many years, because I value its contribution to UK democracy.
An opportunity to voice one’s concerns on 38 degrees.
I think that the subject matter on 38 degrees is extremely relevant to issues occurring today. As a member of the public there is little we can do to change matters or get heard. 38 degrees provides a platform to make our voices heard. I may not agree with every petition but there are plenty I do agree with and I like to feel I’m doing something to bring about change. It’s an easy platform to use and there is an opportunity to remain anonymous or to share on other platforms.

I’m very happy to express my views on the many issues I care about and which 38 degrees pursues. I can’t actively demonstrate and do the opportunity to join in is valuable to me. Some of the campaigns have been effective but even so expressing a view feels right for democracy whatever the outcome.
