Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Is impossible to log in, constant password changing requirements. I can't remember everything, as 45 years old. I don't trust applications for password management. Looks like I have to change bank.so disappointing.

I never intended to share this…

I never intended to share this publicly, but the team who saved me deserves every bit of recognition. Someone added me to an exclusive Discord server focused entirely on systemic crypto arbitrage. They literally sent $12,000 worth of stablecoins to my external wallet to show it wasn't a joke, then let me pull a quick profit after the first trade. They insisted that institutional profits required institutional liquidity. I drained my retirement and wired $185,000, inflating my screen balance to $2.1 million. I tried to cash out a cool million, but support locked my screen, claiming I owed a flat $110,000 compliance tax upfront. I scrambled to borrow it, only to face a $60,000 routing surcharge. That's when my stomach dropped—I realized I was just an ATM for these thieves. I broke down completely, confessed to my financial advisor, and he rushed me to (Bramsey ADVISOR LLC). These guys are absolute sharks. They traced the obfuscated movement of the digital tokens across multiple layers of decentralized contracts, found the security loop where the hackers slipped up, and successfully pulled my funds back.

The new updated app is so useless.

The new updated app is so useless.
It does not show your balance after a transaction , which is so important to keep you in the loop about your spending.
Not a great addition to the app we were using before.
Sorry Barclays you got it wrong, please change it!!

TERRIBLE UPDATES ON THIS APP

TERRIBLE UPDATES ON THIS APP - If I could give zero I would. I agree with previous reviews, it appears to have been designed by a team/person who do not use APP Banking. Terrible Barclays, the main problem for me is you taking off the running balance from the current account. Trying to reconcile spending at the end of every month is nearly impossible without printing off a statement. Surely this goes against all the reasons for an APP Disappointing Barclays, why don't you ask customers what they need first before deleting valuable go to's!

Ashamed

Ashamed ! With barclays app upgrade ( DOWNGRADE)
Worked proudly for barclays 50 years .. and even now i think its the go to bank !
I may be older but im savy !
I found the new update. DISGUSTING 🤮 not user friendly as it once was . I thought it was me not liking it. But on a rare occasion going into a branch. I heard others with the same problem …. With the transfer system was better before

… Some one made a lot of money designing this user unfriendly 💩…. Its not great
Put it back the way it was. Until someone intelligent with brains can enhance it and make it better

Find out who designed and approved this
And give them their marching orders

I rest my case

0 stars more appropriate. The new Barclays app is rubbish. I don't want totals of what's been spent or deposited daily. I need a running balance. Barclays should read these reviews. Have already complained about it to Barclays.

BARCLAYS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!…

GIVEN AN OPTION I WOULD NOT HAVE SCORED IT A SINGLE STAR!!
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIGURE WHAT BARCLAYS ARE THINKING. TO HAVE DESIMATED A SUPER INTUITIVE APP WHICH I'VE USED CONFIDENTLY FOR YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH IT. THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING!! I WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER MOVING BANKS. IT'S A WORRYING CHANGE AND A MASSIVE STEP BACKWARDS. BEING IN MY LATE 60'S I CAN SAY IT WAS THE BEST TOOL, ONE I COULD USE WITH CONFIDENCE. NO MORE!!

Barclays new Play school App

Barclays new Play school App
This app looks like it was written by a 10 year old child for 10 year olds it is a disaster this better change or a change of bank might be in order.
over simplified to the point of being unreadable,
endless scrolling to find details,
when you do find a transaction it's more scrolling to find the date,
if this is Barclay's attempt to stop people using the app it will work without fail,
put it back to an adult version and try this again on April 1st.

The app WAS great

WHERE IS MY RUNNING BALANCE?
I do NOT need to see a total of what went in or out each day! I can add those up myself if I wanted to. Which I've never wanted or needed to do. RUNNING BALANCE THOUGH.....I NEED THAT!!!!!!!!

The app WAS great. It was still great yesterday. Just logged in today and it's been "updated". It's boxy, hurts my eyes, badly laid out and basically completely terrible in every way. Not impressed at all! Yet another example of something being changed just to justify someone's job.

Barclays app is the worst banking app

Barclays app is the worst banking app
Most of the time you cannot get access as it won’t let you put in your passcode just doesn’t work. The layout is terrible and confusing. Bring back the older app worked so much better and no issues at all. This one is unbelievably bad. Might have to look into changing banks as I need a reliable banking app not have to keep login into the main bank accounts through Barclays as this takes to long.

Horrendous layout on App

Oh my goodness, yet another new layout on the Barclays App (October) and it's truly awful. Do they ever ask what the customer wants before they change the layouts. If ever it makes me think of changing banks it's this horrendous layout.

An absolutely hopeless company to hold assets with

Despite having been a client of the stockbroking side - now called Barclays Direct Investing - well over 30 years its system refuses to recognise log-in details using the online membership number Barclays provided, also the online passcode plus the 'memorable word' I have long used. Moreover this morning on raising the matter with customer service the system could not recognise my e-mail address of 35 or so years nor the mobile phone number registered with Barclays last May. Three quarters of an hour on the phone getting nowhere, technical support no longer interfaces with customers. I can't change my memorable word, if that's any problem, as I'm not otherwise a Barclays banking customer.

Tried for a week to pay off my Amazon Partnership account. The app is a disgrace! Log-in, crash, try again, crash, delete and re-apply, etc, etc.
Took 45 minutes to get through to a human on the phone, but their phone banking service doesn’t like being on speakerphone!! When I finally reached a person, he was helpful and courteous. I’ve never had such trouble trying to give money away!!!

Excellent advice at Barclays Bank Uxbridge

I visited Barclays today to discuss my investments, ISAs and the best options for managing my money, and I was lucky enough to be helped by Surjit at Uxbridge branch.

From the moment I sat down with her, I felt completely listened to and understood. She explained everything so clearly and patiently, making sure I understood the different options available to me and what might be best for my money.

I also had to deal with the difficult and emotional matter of removing my deceased husband from my account. Surjit was incredibly compassionate and understanding throughout. She handled everything with such kindness and sensitivity, which meant a great deal to me.

I honestly cannot praise Surjit enough. She was professional, knowledgeable, patient and, most importantly, genuinely caring. It is so reassuring to meet someone who takes the time to listen and makes you feel that you are in safe hands.

Thank you so much, Surjit, for all your help and kindness today. You are a real credit to Barclays
