We have had nearly 60 hours of outages for the month of May thus far (including two separate 24hr blackouts) with no urgency to fix and barely any communication - the whole postal code needs to be affected for the website to say there is an outage in your area - very misleading ! The service has been extremely poor these last two weeks - be better

6 times now in the past. It's always good when techs are here. Yess, it works for about 12-20 mins and disconnects.
Wired in *work at home computer* spinning, clocking off, long wait times to get to a file, long searches, not able to open a page, Finally> disconnection completely.< WIRED IN!!!
Let's not even go there with the wi-fi networks around the house. Paying for Fibre, have been for years.

DO NOT USE! They are dirty and lie. I was told I was not under contract, but then when they called to give me a better promotion when I wanted to leave they put me on a contract without telling me and now saying “it was in the fine print”. Disgusting and sneaky!

Cogeco is an absolutely terrible product.
Their IP streaming service is complete crap. We have (apparently) the fibre optic crap and have all the exact same issues as before with the coaxial hookup.
It’s just a bad product and I feel that they should be sued for ripping off their customers.
I can not stress enough……DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SERVICE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Glitchy, loss of internet, wheel of death, takes up to 30 secs to change channel, get kicked out of recorded shows, get kicked out of on demand shows.
Garbage. That’s all I can say. Garbage.

The service was just ok - but the real fun started when I tried to cancel. Four days of run around (so far) - enough that I will also be filing an official complaint with the CRTC. They upped the price again and motivated me to move - but you need to go through multiple layers of customer retention - which results in ques or call back that have failed four time now. Its just not worth it.

(theft) 200% sure of it. But cogeco can't see it if she is offline. It causes me a lot of problems. Nonetheless, the lady tech (finally/ excellent work) sent an employee to secure my modem. Still, being used illegally by upstairs. The reason why i am writing this review, it's because elders of society are abused in so many ways, and this one is, well, one of them. I bet that many elders who use wifi/internet don't know that others illegally are piggyback on low income elders. Something should be done about this situation. thank you!

Cogeco is a one stop shop for problems. Their website, app and phone system are not user friendly. There is no phone number listed on the website; anywhere. The app is difficult to manage. I tried to create an account. It would not accept. I could not phone them because the phone number is not listed anywhere. The chat bot Sam is not equipped to deal with issues other than what it is programmed to do. The phone system does not offer the option to speak to an attendant until you've selected at least 5 options. Its like a humongous circus that no individual has time for.

When I called management (Matthew) to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the website, phone system and online app, I was met with platitudes and no attempt to resolve anything. Just a confirmation that he (Matthew) was listening to me speak. But could not or would not confirm that my dissatisfaction would be handled or dealt with. My attempt to call management was to advise and ask that the systems in place be more user friendly. What should have been a 5 minute job on my own turned into an all day job of phone calls, waits, website searches and chat bot ineffective aid. (And these surveys and reviews)

Ill start by saying Tyler was amazing!! Thank you Tyler for your exceptional service today- May 6, 2026. The rest of these notes are not for you - bu5 for the managers and contractors that set up your systems to serve the public. To improve your systems which I tried to inform the manager (Matthew) in head office earlier today to no avail. Phone system doesn't offer immediate connection to an agent. So many hoops of numbers to press before getting the option to speak to someone live. Also I'd like to add that the website and app are ineffective for some things. No phone number on the websites only the chat bot that provides incorrect information. I was given the number by the bot for the mobile department. I do not have a mobile account. Im extremely dissatisfied with cogeco as a whole! I left years ago due to extreme incompetence. As im no longer a customer, only dealing with your services for my geriatric mom in a nursing home and the nursing home has the account overall for its residents. Its not by my choice to deal with cogeco. You should be extremely ashamed of the way in which your public services are setup ie: website, app and phone system. Contacting you for help is always a struggle. Please do better!!!!

Ill reiterate that Tyler from tech support was incredibly knowleageable and helpful. However Matthew in head office was just a "YES MAN". Listened to me but failed to offer any plan to send my comments suggestions and critiques to improve the services that the public have to deal with that ultimately will come back to the people who work in your call centers!!!! Matthew just placated me with platitudes and zero effort to take me seriously. Please see previous comments. No need to repeat myself.

How about getting managers and staff that will listen, understand, provide excellent customer service and do the job that they are paid to do. Also getting staff that speak eloquently and are easy to understand!!! And when a customer attempts to give constructive criticism that it be taken and accepted with a plan forward that is explained to the consumer. Not just placated statements that make the consumer feel as though they are a bother and have no concern or time to deal with said consumer!
