We are sorry to see that you have rated your experience with Saxo with 1 star, but we appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to elaborate on the issues you have mentioned.
It is as per design that in the event of a margin call, all margin positions are closed. As to not being able to write a covered call on Hive, this is applicable only to options with risk rating 6, where it is not possible to short a risk rated 6 option under any circumstances. To elaborate, option risk depends on factors like market capitalization, liquidity, volatility and many other factors.
It is understandable that it can be frustrating, provided that you are holding the underlying, and we will make sure to pass on your feedback.

Stay away from this broker
Stay away from this broker. Withdrawal request since 20 April (71 days) not received. Another withdrawal request on 20 June (11 days) is not received. The customer service is very poor, they are not even pretending to help matters, they will just tell you to contact your bank.
UPDATE: I received my withdrawals and closed my account with them. Experience with them was far from good. Never again.

They do not care about you
All the people in this company do not care if you are a new customer.
They have ridiculous deposit amounts,
Asking me to deposit 20000 $ minimum for an MT4 account.
After several days, one guy named Vikas Pandey who works in sales contacted me and never replied to my query, instead he just vanished.
