If I could give less than 1 star I would. I worked for them as a cleaner, they allowed clients to do chargebacks with absolutely no remorse to cleaners. Cleaners are demanded to pay back charge backs... See more

I would rate them a ZERO. I booked last year for a move out clean. I was 8 almost 9 months pregnant having to get this done on a short time frame. I booked the cleaning and the lady never showed. Never contacted me then they had to “reschedule” which I did and still didn’t show up. So my pregnant butt had to just do it myself. The audacity. Don’t waste your time seriously
Sadly it seems I fell for the same scam as everyone else. First visit is $19 dollars but you're automatically enrolled in a membership plan. $59 a month , plus Thry Bette me $159 the second time they come to clean. I contacted customer service and was given the , it's erren in the terms of the contract. Now They want $105 to cancel the membership . Worst part the cleaners were ok but nothing close to $149 worth of services
I sent several emails to Homeaglow to STOP taking mi ey if my account! I have your services back in July 25 and told you that I was not going to need your services anymore and to my surprise you are STILL taking money if my account (49$) since Sept. 2025 until this month... that's stilling.!! I contacted my bank to stop you from stilling my money. I only got services from you ONCE! What type of business is this??? I expect you to return my money back to my account!!! Or I will go to better business. I need you to return to my account immediately the $333.00 stolen from my account for services
NEVER provided to me. I can't understand how your company will do such a thing. I have transactions of withdrawal on the same month twice for services never provided. Only today I have a pending 49$ returned to me account... it's more that you stole from me and i expect that money is return! July 9...39$ July 21...49$ and 10$ ( that was the only time I got a horrible service so I cancel all other appointments! Sept.
29 and Sept 22 2025.... was taken two times 49$!!! Nov. 20, 2025.......49$ December 22, 2025.....49$ Jan 20, 2026.....49$ Return my money! This is the way Homeaglow treats the customer, they haven even bother to answer my emails. Better business bureau needs to check into the way this company steals money from customers accounts.
$19 cleaning ropes you into a 6 month contract =$360. The first time the cleaner came he did a good job, second time lousy. Requested new cleaner-same thing. Third cleaner-same thing. I gave them all 5 stars because honestly they see your review and they know where you live! Most recent new cleaner is new to the company and is magnificent. BUT, every time you request a new cleaner they charge you a $5 per hour Platform fee. First time it is disguised in the hourly rate. This last time they charged it separate. The cleaner told me he is also pays $5 per hour to Homeaglow. Scheduling is random and mostly half-assed. I've already canceled my contract when it expires. I'm paying more for a cleaning with all the fees and membership fees than I was using an individual.

I HAVE UPDATED MY REVIEW. THEY CALLED AN RESOLVED MY ISSUE WITH THEM.
cleaning was AWFUL! She was inexperienced and I
had to CLEAN AFTER SHE LEFT.
Don’t get me started on their contract and policies! Just an BAD BAD EXPERIENCE!
RUN do not walk… Get a referral from a reputable CLEANING COMPANY OR INDIVIDUAL.
We scheduled a cleaning through this company for an empty 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. The cleaner and I discussed expectations in detail beforehand, with particular emphasis on thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and appliances. The agreed booking was 4 hours for $230. During the appointment, the cleaner requested additional time and an extra $40, which I approved.
Unfortunately, upon entering the home after the service, the kitchen and appliances had not been cleaned at all. Additionally, the laminate floors appeared to have been mopped without proper sweeping, resulting in visible dirt being smeared across the surfaces.
I provided photos to document the condition and requested a refund due to the incomplete service. The cleaner declined, and the company was unable to resolve the issue.
This was especially disappointing as this was a first home move-in cleaning, where attention to key areas is very important. I hope the company improves quality control and service oversight for future customers.
Fraud company. Initially don’t disclose everything. You need to buy 6 months membership and even after they charge $20 per booking as platform fees. Their providers are not professionals and they keep increasing platform fees every month.
Their subscription model doesn’t make any sense. When you think you’ve cancelled your service, they keep charging you. The cleaning job they did do was horrible. Didn’t even wipe down counter space.
Homeaglow's subscription model isn't transparent. It's very difficult to figure out the total amount you're paying per cleaning, because you have a monthly subscription, the cost per cleaning, a random fee, and then tip for the cleaner. I also couldn't figure out a way to book cleanings without the subscription. Cleaning quality varies a lot per cleaner. The reason I ended up canceling was because cleaners rarely stuck to their arrival times. One time my cleaner told me an hour before she couldn't make it and asked if she could come the next day, which didn't work with my schedule. Several other times, the cleaner confirmed the arrival time, then messaged the day before asking if they could come earlier, and then still showed up even earlier on the day of with no warning.
I wouldn't recommend. I'm going to just go back to cleaning myself for a while and maybe if I find a cleaner through a referral then I'll explore that.
Edit: Homaglow is now aggressively trying to contact me because I left a 2-star review. They called me twice back to back during working hours when I was in a meeting. Then they emailed me and texted me. They also left me a voicemail. I’m decreasing my rating to 1 star.
It's a trick. They lock you in at $19 but then they charge you for each cleaner and more! Don't go there.
I was hoping to save some money and I ended up spending more.
It's a scam. They bury their real costs in T&C. If you use their $20 cleaning voucher, you are automatically signed up for a $60/month membership, which carries a cancellation fee of $150+.
Don't do it. Run.
I wish I read the reviews. I echo everything said by others. Cleaners aren't vetted well. You have no support when the cleaner scams you or leaves early. There are hidden fees and charges. Terrible customer service. The list goes on.
I never got my package as it was delivered to the wrong address and the company refuses to reimburse me. I even reached out to the courrier (yunexpress) and never heard back. avoid this business as they are unable top ensure delivery to the proper address.
Their communication isn’t just vague — it’s evasive to the point of being insulting. The moment you try to cancel, they drag you into a pointless back‑and‑forth instead of acknowledging they owe you money. They openly admit their mistakes, yet somehow you’re still the one left stranded. It’s incompetence wrapped in deflection.
They sneak in “upgrades” you never requested, then quietly bleed you with bogus charges. Fifteen dollars here, twenty dollars there — a steady stream of nickel‑and‑diming that feels less like a business practice and more like a grift. The whole operation reeks of predatory upselling and zero accountability.
The service itself is painfully mediocre. I even gave them a second chance — a courtesy they absolutely did not deserve — and they rewarded that generosity by canceling at the last minute. Reliability is clearly not part of their vocabulary.
Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this practitioner. This is the kind of experience that gives the entire service industry a black eye. Avoid them like the plague.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was charged for a 3-hour clean, & then the cleaner didn't even have the courtesy to let me know they were not coming & never showed up. Trying to get a refund has been a nightmare. I do not recommend this company to anyone, & their low prices they put on their ads are only applicable if you have a subscription where you get charged monthly. Very deceptive business overall.
Terrible business. They will take your money. I have tried them 3 times and there has been an issue each time. The first 2 times the cleaner did not bring the necessary equipment to clean the floors. I ended up being stuck with a cancellation fee of $200+ even though I had not been able to have my home cleaned properly. They offered me a $117 credit. When I tried to use it for the 3rd cleaning it was not applied to the price and they charged me in full. In addition, two people were sent to my home that I don’t believe was the actual person on the app. The cleaner was supposed to be a woman but a man and woman showed up, neither of which who I hired. This is a major security issue as the cleaners are supposed to be background checked and I don’t know who was in my home. Lastly, the male cleaner broke my exhaust fan over my stove. I reported all of this to Homeaglow and they are extremely slow in responding. They also asked me to get written proof from the cleaners that they broke my exhaust fan. But once they closed the appointment I can no longer get in contact with the cleaners to get the written proof. Terrible customer service and seemingly will not get any help with my broken exhaust fan.
Scam!!! Run!!!! Worst part is Frontier airlines is hawking their scam services on their site, making it look legit, it's such a scam!!!
I am glad that thousands of horrific reviews have finally overwhelmed HomeAglow's aggressive, brazenly false TV advertising. Because the company's shoddy business practices lie fully exposed online, anyone who actually signs up for their alleged services deserves to be scammed. That is what they do, but for me it was much worse. I nearly lost the sale of my home when Home Aglow failed to send me two cleaning people to get the place ready for the buyer's walk-through. Trying unsuccessfully to reach their non-existent customer service that day added enormously to the stress of it. The one cleaning lady who did show up spoke zero English and refused to clean my patio, which, it turns out, is not included in a standard cleaning. She left, and I wound up paying my old housecleaner $575 to get the job done that day on an emergency basis. (She brought an assistant.) HomeAglow will soon be out of business, since no company could survive the reviews they've gotten. This can't happen soon enough.
SCAM SCAM SCAM - they advertise a great price and then pull the bait and switch on you. Run from this company as far and fast as you can.
0 stars…… I am really surprised this company is still in business and is still advertising on TV their famous $19 clean. But shame on anybody that hires them thinking you’re gonna get a clean for $19 with no hidden charges. You’re gonna get charged a membership fee and half the time the cleaners either won’t accept your job or they’ll cancel it and you still get charged that monthly membership fee. Run don’t walk away from this company. They’re a big old scam. I believe they were under two other different names prior to becoming home a glow. Do not be fooled.!
