Course Description: “Degenerative disorders of CNS” is usually a topic of solemnity for healthcare professionals. Through research, it has been shown that we can indeed help our patients and their families during this difficult time of decline. The degenerative diseases of the central nervous system discussed in this course include Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), Huntington’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and Parkinson’s Disease. This course expounds on the incidence, pathophysiology, clinical picture, medical management, and treatment for multidisciplinary teams.
