Everything about this project was a disappointment. Made an appointment on a Monday to have gutters replaced on Friday. Received a call from scheduling on Thursday letting me know a crew would not likely be available until Saturday. Asked for a phone call by the end of the day on Thursday to let me know for sure so I can make plans regarding my job on Friday. No phone call received so I assumed they would be here on Saturday. Friday morning I get a phone call that a crew will be arriving in 30 minutes. After the gutters are installed the crew left a mess for my wife and I to clean up. Three weeks later we get the first real rainstorm and the gutters leak like a sieve. I call the company to complain and send them pictures and videos of the gutters leaking. They tell me someone will come out and correct the problems. Someone does come out, not the project manager, and I'm eventually told the problem is my shingles do not extend far enough out over the gutters. I'm told there is nothing else that can be done to fix the problem. If in fact the problem is the shingles why was this not noticed prior to the gutters being installed?!! Just an extremely poor run operation from top to bottom!! Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

On the 5/25, I agreed for Home Genius to replace my roof. I was told a crew would come out on that Thusday for measurements and Friday the company would repair the roof. When I called Chance and texted him he finally got back to me telling me "Monday" Can someone reach out to me and keep me up to date about this. It is making extremely nervous not knowing what this company is doing. Please call me - someone - even if you don't have an answer. Home Genius Exteriors , did a great job on our roof and gutters. They came in on time and worked till the job was done. The clean up was great too .

I have owned homes in three different states, and this is unquestionably the worst, most dishonest company I have ever encountered. It began with high-pressure, questionable sales tactics (e.g., the price started at $11,000 and then came down to $6,000 when I kept saying no. I asked for time to consider, and I was told the final offer was only good for today). I then had to ask multiple times just for the scope of work to be sent to me, and it included very few of the things I was told. The workers would arrive completely unannounced, block the neighbor's driveway, have no understanding of the job, or communicate. They left trash everywhere and knocked multiple shingles off our roof. They were supposed to repair and coat our gutters. However, rather than fixing the leaks, they just haphazardly poured a coating through the gutters, not applying it evenly or at all in some places. Most importantly, this caused the thick coating to pool up all in and around the downspouts, rendering our gutters absolutely unusable. It is now much worse than when I first called them--water now pours off the side of our house in numerous locations, damaging our siding. So many things in writing that were supposed to happen never did, such as "a final inspection and walk through by a project manager." Aside from Logan (the high-pressure salesman), not only was there never a project manager, but there was never an English speaker who came to the house.

From one week after the work was done on March 7th, 2025 until now, I communicated with Ray, the regional manager and numerous installation leads (Bryan, then Hunter, then Dale, as they all seem to leave or get fired) truly every month for a year (I have all the text receipts to prove it), providing details and pictures (just some of very many attached) showing water overflowing with no debris whatsoever and sealant on top of downspouts preventing egress of water. In these correspondences, they acknowledged that "it looks like a drain was covered by mistake" and filed a claim with their insurance. With each text or call, they would apologize, provide an excuse for not coming, and respond that they would have someone out to the house shortly, but no one would ever come. I made this post 6 months ago, but was foolish enough to remove it when they asked me to do so, with a promise they would make it right. I called the corporate headquarters and contacted the Better Business Bureau, but it has all been received with dishonest and disingenuous lip service.

I considered legal action or trying to investigate if they committed insurance fraud, but the most important thing I can do is warn everyone considering working with this company. Part of this is my fault for wanting to trust them, but don't be taken advantage of like I was. Please, please trust me.

I found the crew from Home Genius to be efficient, professional & courteous.

When I was sold the roof replacement project, I was informed that Home genius exteriors would cover all of the plants and gardens around my house to protect them. They did not. I have gardens around three sides of my house and only half of one side was actually covered for a short time which resulted in hundreds of dollars of plants being destroyed during the project. Not only were shingles dropped on the plants the roofers trampled the garden and threw a ladder in the garden snapping off a rosebush that I have been growing for years. I was not going to be home when the roofers arrived in Informed the PM ahead of time. The roofers arrived before the PM did and when he got there, he noticed that they didn’t cover the gardens so he did a half ass job covering about a third of the gardens and sent me a picture claiming the gardens were covered. When I got home, I found that only a small portion of what he claimed was covered was actually covered. I constantly informed him of every problem that came up as they came up, and I was blown off. when the roofing crew was sitting in my yard, throwing garbage and food waste in the yard. I was told that they take care of it and clean it up when I informed them that their delivery vehicle hit the Rock wall and left huge ruts in my gravel driveway, I was told it would be taken care of. It was not. My chaise lounge chairs were hung off the side of my back deck. i’m not sure why they thought that was unacceptable place to put them, but they didn’t put them back on the deck and I had to get them back myself. The PM had repeatedly told me that they would cover the cost of the damaged plants and that I needed to provide an estimate. He also claim that all the mess would be picked up and it was not.Then his manager informed me that they can’t pay off an estimate that I have to actually go out and buy the plants. Apparently the manager doesn’t know anything about perennials. It doesn’t seem to be aware that they can’t be bought at any time during the year and only when they’re in season and then informed me he won’t pay what the cost to replace them is or for my labor to clean up all the muscles that they have left in my yard . After a failure to get anything resolved with the PM manager, I reached out to corporate and was informed that they would escalate the issue and get back to me immediately. It’s been weeks and still nothing from corporate. So if you are thinking about using them for any home improvement project, and you have any plants or gardens around your house I don’t recommend it. They claim they will protect your plants and cover them, but they make no attempt to do that. they claim they will clean up your yard after they’re done they will not. Their crews just leave their garbage food scraps whatever laying around your yard and you get to pick it up. I am planning on siding my house in the next year and will not use home exterior genius after the mess they made of my yard during the roof and the complete lack of responsibility for the damage they did due to their failure to do what they were supposed to do. I’m out hundreds of dollars in Plant that I have been growing for years because they couldn’t be bothered to cover my gardens.

Job was done well, the teams worked very well together. They were courteous, My questions were answered swiftly. They offer great financing services. Shoutout to Becca (PC) and Ivan My Install manager on the backend and taking care of all of my services. My sales rep was very knowledgeable, showed me everything ongoing on my house. Again the logistics was very good. Material and crews showed up on time. I'm very happy with the outcome!

Excellent experience with Home Genius Exteriors! Sam Diaz and the Home Genius team were fantastic to work with. The communication was smooth, the customer service was top-notch, and the quality of the work really stood out. You can tell the team takes pride in what they do and wants the customer to be happy with the final result. Everything was completed professionally and on time. I highly recommend Home Genius Exteriors and would absolutely use them again for future projects.

do not do business with this company management all the way to the top siding work was done less than a year ago summer of 2025 vinyl siding near roof line as of today 5/5/26 peeled off and is damaged walked out door and molding fell off leaf guards were damaged was charged a service call to have repaired ring camera is damaged phone line damaged sales person promised someone would go around with a magnet to pick up nails galvanized nails cannot be picked up with a magnet numerous nails all around property where work was performed fond nails months later the best one is applied for a loan through hge said i could cancel anytime with no penalty decided to get my own financing called to cancel hge loan told it was taken care of got email confirmation loan was canceled thankfully when i paid i got a bank check 2 months later i get a call person said i owed thousands of dollars for unpaid hge loan this person talked like trying to scam me when i told him i paid with bank check person got nervous if any one decides to use hge services proceed with caution

The work was completed quickly and the communication was top notch

They did a big job for me - roofs, Hardie siding, windows and gutters on two small houses. The work was performed well and in a timely fashion, and overall they were a pleasure to deal with.

So happy with my new siding gutters and gutter guards! Jerson and his crew worked so hard and are such wonderful guys. A weeks worth of long days and my house looks amazing. My project manager Dylan was responsive, courteous, and attentive. They did everything they said and have great integrity in the services they provide. Can't speak any more highly of Home Genius and would highly recommend!

I wrote one back in October and nothing was done about it so I am reposting it.

"I am editing my review due to some recent circumstances. First of all my original 5 star review, I felt pressured to write it with the project manager Hunter hovering over me. Next, the communication was poor. I had to keep reaching out to figure out what was the next step for my roof and gutters. Lastly, I ended up finding a couple dozen nails in my yard, and then after my wife had stepped on a nail, they came to do another sweep and found 3 dozen more. Highly unacceptable. I would never use this company again or refer them to anyone."

6 months later a corner of my gutter is leaking.

I got ripped off. I am paying wayyyy too much for this.

Went onto there website. Requested a quote. Someone called and set up the appointment. The next day someone called and repeated everything the person before went over. After getting off the phone, I got a text message saying my appointment was canceled. I called the business and a man answered stating there was nobody to come give me a quote in the area. Didn't make sense because I had already made the appointment. He was for one, unprofessional about it, didnt care if they lost a customer or not. Which they did. Won't be in contact with them anymore.
