We are Homemade Homes the experienced property sales team within Accent Housing. Homemade Homes by Accent is a brand name for the sale of homes owned by Accent Housing Limited and Accent Homemade Limited.
We specialise in Shared Ownership, another way to buy your home. You buy a percentage and pay rent on the rest. We own just part of it – but you’re living there, you decorate it and decide when to sell.
Buying a percentage means a smaller deposit and a smaller mortgage. It’s a sooner first step on the ladder for lots of people. Usually, you can carry on buying further shares to own it 100%.
Buying a share means you need a lower mortgage and deposit than purchasing a property outright. This makes it a cost-effective way to own your own home and ideal for first-time buyers. Shared Ownership usually works out less per month than renting privately.
We want to be ‘with you for your journey’, whether that is helping you to take the first step onto the housing ladder or helping you search for a new home, we will be right there with you.
We have Shared Ownership homes across the country, from Surrey to Yorkshire and have helped hundreds of people fulfil their home ownership ambitions. We offer new and resale Shared Ownership homes as well as helping our current customers buy more of their home or sell it when they want to move on.

Bad communication service
I reached out to schedule a viewing and followed up with several emails, but unfortunately, I did not receive any replies.NEVER! After multiple attempts to call, I finally spoke with an agent who inquired about my availability for a viewing. However, I never received a callback or any further information.When I called again, I was informed that I would be updated when a viewing opportunity arose, but I never heard back. Due to this lack of communication, I gave up this property, the worst experience!
Edit: This is my first time receiving a reply from them after leaving a comment here. I understand that you are having difficulty contacting the seller, but as least you should reply to my emails after multiple calls when I ask for an update.

After reviewing our records, it appears we spoke with you informing you that we encountered difficulties in getting in touch with the seller of the property, which delayed the scheduling of the viewing. We attempted to reach out to the seller multiple times to arrange the opportunity, but unfortunately, their lack of responsiveness hindered our efforts.

Lucy helped me a lot with my purchase and so did Ash, their mentality and willingness to co-operate was amazing, not a single complaint, just a good attitude to solving problems, it was great, I'm very happy to have met such a 5-star staff.
The house is very beautiful, Ahs recommended me to choose this plot, very good.

We've just completed on a home by Homemade Homes in Fantail View. Customer service is impeccable!
Ash has been our main point of contact throughout the purchase and was always on hand to answer any questions and rectify things promptly! Lucy was also super informative and helped keep things on track for us! Our new build home truly is beautiful; with all flooring, turf and appliances already in, it was ready for us from day one!

Excellent Service
Lucy Woods was really helpful. Emailed her many times with questions and seeking progress of our purchase. She always gave a quick response.
