Extremely poor customer service
Disconnected from queue after waiting 30 minutes on hold. Called back, waited another 30 minutes to find Mike (Customer service rep) unhelpful and not completely fluent in English.
A brand new CO detector fitted in March 2017, was defective from the time it was fitted.
I had a new gas boiler fitted in March by British Gas, who also supplied a Honeywell CO (carbon monoxide) detector, BG, of course, left no instructions with it, and from day one we were plagued by this detector giving off 2 loud whistles, within a few seconds of each other, every few minutes.
Complained to BG, who rushed around after 3 weeks!!, and said it was the detector, and change it in March next year AND THAT WAS IT, I stuck this out until the other day, when after hunting high and low finally found a Honeywell web site, I emailed them with the details, and SF450EN detector, and they came back with WE HAVE NO TRACE OF THIS, sound typical!!!, and redirected me to a phone line, and website. Of course the phone didn't work, it was discontinued, and so I emailed the web site, so far nothing except an email that said, we see that the trouble has been resolved, OH NO IT HASN'T'.
What a performance form a so called international firm.
I took the detector down to throw it away, as I had ordered a KIDDE one, and on the inside of the lid it said, 2 CHIRPS PER MINUTE :DETECTOR FAULT!!!!!!!
That means that from the time it was fitted it has been defective, I emailed them and said I want a replacement under guarantee, or I,d rather have the money back, since I had ordered a new one from a different firm,.
GUESS WHAT THEY HAVN'T REPLIED
Now the 25th November, and according to Honeywell, a technical advisor will be in touch, they didn,t say what year though, quite frankly I am disgusted with ALL big firms, they hide behind non existent phone and web sites, and just take your money.
No organization
No organization. Conflicting information. Old information. Bad project management. It's like they have both their heads in the sand and running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
This company seems to have an appalling …
This company seems to have an appalling line in customer service:
they failed to answer the phone on several occasions yesterday, they have not responded yet to an e-mail sales enquiry regarding questions that should have been answered on their web-site, and when I finally got through to them today they informed me - shockingly - that I would have to call a premium rate line to get any information out of them.
I only hope that their supposedly certified fire alarm panels (Gent by Honeywell) work with some greater efficiency and reliability than THAT. Truly appalling.
Great company use some of their tech …
