We had an excellent experience at Hoogenboezem. The sales person, Rabia, was very supportive and kind, able to understand our preferences and needs. The delivery process and assembly was also very good and fast. Just a good experience, and good quality furniture.

I bought a table at the store (Den Haag). when I received it at home, the table has a horrible blackline, and the surface is full of splinters. Is not possible to use it if you don't cover it with something. And now, they don't want to change the table and they want me to pay to return it. (Is it legal?....). Anyway, i am going to take the next step (Lawer)

Excellent delivery and the sofa is very comfortable. Even though we were told it can take up to 12 weeks for delivery, but we revived the sofa in 6 weeks.

It has been a nightmare to get the right table delivered. Only 2 years after purchase I have got the right table. Lot of calls, visits to the store, promises of sorting the issues, etc. A real, real nightmare.

Its sad you cant give them negative points. 1/5 is way too much.
We ordered 2 couches, 8 leather chairs and 2 big side cushions to match the whole living room in our new house (close to 10.000 eur in total) That was in February because we knew it was to take them 12-14 weeks to deliver and we left a bit of room if it takes them a bit longer. But i did not expect this.
Before i begin, i do want to point out that the people working in the store (Especially Roy in Den Haag, who is still helping us to get to the bottom of this even though that is not his job) were extremely helpful and just fantastic. This review is about their customer service alone.

They delivered the 2 cushions we ordered in a completely wrong material/colour 14 weeks later. (200 euros for 2 stupid side cushions is a lot, but it fits our place). We called and made a complaint and that's where it all starts.
First they made us pay for the cushions in full, which they took back. Then it took them 2 weeks for someone to just order them again. Then, 2 weeks later they came back with a solution that new cushions will be delivered in 14 weeks. Extra 14 WEEKS for 2 simple cushions!!!! And guess what. it is October. Still no cushions, still no answer, just absolute rudeness on the telephone with their customer service. I waited with this review to give them as many chances as i could, but this is just too much.
TLDR: ANYONE CAN MOVE BOXES. GOOD SERVICE HAPPENS WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG. AND I CAN ASSURE YOU HOOGENBOEZEM HAS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE.
Do yourself a favour, and stay away. It hurts me to even imagine what will happen if I need something fixed or replaced... as we also paid extra warranty on all. Just Terrible.

What a scam. This company will not accept a return on a regularly stocked item the very next day per despite the CBW regulations that they supplied me with as our sales contract. They say that since they paid commission to the salesperson, I cannot get a refund, and I could only return the item if I had purchased it on the website. This is not what the CBW agreement says, but Hoogenbozos won't budge.

Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time with the frustrations and lies of this downright dishonest business. Spend your money with a company that works honestly to earn your business. I wish that I had looked here on Trustpilot before I even set foot in this scam business...
