Terrible experience in a covent garden store!!! I spoke to the manager named orane I don't even know if that's her right name given by the staff member name josh...anyway I think the manager is french with short red hair...so I spoke to her a day before prior to my appointment that I was going to attend for my skincare and she was very pleasant on the phone however when I went in to the store she was very rude and unprofessional as she blanked me completely when I reminded her yesterday's phone conversation!!! So I thought ok that's not really a good start ...anyway the staff name josh was dealing with me.... So they mentioned on their website about skincare booking and recommendations for your skin etc but it's completely the opposite in store and it's literally a waste of my precious time, they don't do anything regarding checking your skin whatsoever!!! But I kind of knew what I wanted for my skin....so I was going to spend nearly £250 on skin care products and prior to my so cold skincare appointment I have been told over the phone from orane manager and email that If I attend my so cold skincare appointment I will be getting 20% off, so right towards the end for some reason the store manager orane didn't kept her words for 20% discount which she offered me over the phone and literally ducked for her lunch and left josh to deal with!!! Whilst I was there facing this horrendous experience a customer walked in complaining about being charged twice for one item he bought and guess what he was there waiting for almost an hour to see someone and get his refund !!! What a joke !!! I found the manager a bit weird towards me when I entered the store and god knows what it was !!! The only thing that I can think of is because I have a beard and I have brown skin hence why she blanked me but again god knows what it was !!!! It made me very uncomfortable for sure !!!

But over all it was a horrendous experience in the Horace store and it was my first time ever visiting and to get to know the Horace brand .....

This is an absolute joke.... The reply is horrendous on the leve!!! I don't appreciate when people lie unnecessary. Perhaps you didn't read my complaint thoroughly also would you elaborate your comments ' not normal ' what is not normal!!! I was there for more than 3 hours and right towards the end Mr josh said he can't do anything and I left the store .....What do I suppose to do stand there all day!!!! he couldn't find the solution!! So I don't know what you on about and referring me leaving and gone ??

Also I did not receive any email from Horace whatsoever.

Well, after all the hassle Horace did provide me with the swift resolution which I am pleased of...online customer service did really help me and acknowledged the whole situation however I still will be certain regarding the store manager but I guess I had a bad day with the store manager, I hope my next visit might be different than what it was.

I consistently recommend Horace to my friends when discussing skincare. I started off with the SPF 30 facial moisturiser and have been using it every day since. I also use the charcoal cleanser which is great and I recently got the shave gel and aftershave. I've never had a better shave and my skin is so much better since switching to these products. I can't recommend Horace highly enough and the prices are great. Their customer service really sets them apart both online and in strore!

I used to love their hair products but recently they have reduced the size of their hair conditioner by 50ml whilst keeping the price the same. Disappointing, did not expect shrinkflation from such lovely company.

Finally, my dandruff has been reduced.
Very worth it and after I have tried many shampoos this is the best. I did not expect it. Thanks

As a PSA - despite the plethora of seemingly emphatic reviews of their products online, this company actually censors customers' comments before they are published. Customers are incentivized to review the products for credit, but the reviews are only published once they have been vetted and approved. However, if your review is in anyway unsatisfactory, they simply won't publish it.
Customers will eventually catch wind of this, but still play along by giving them what they what - exceptional and glowing reviews - to accumulate the free credits to purchase even more products. This is essentially akin to a MLM scheme - selling snake oil - quite literally.
Over the past 6 months, I have purchased a number of their products, including the SPF matttifying moisturiser, and despite giving my honest feedback - which of course was respectfully negative - the comments spectacularly never showed up.
Take this for what you will, but this company is unquestionably in control of the narrative of the reviews, giving illusion that their products are genuinely highly regarded, when in fact they are not.
Sorry Horace, but your practices are disgraceful.

Brilliant. For reasons won't divulge unfortunately the product ordered didn't get used. The order ands return process was second to none.

I discovered this lovely brand last week by chance - luckily!
I ordered some products online, the welcome gifts are extremely generous and very nice.
The order was dispatched quickly, however I was a little concerned about the delivery (this is obviously another service provider). I contacted Horace who promptly replied explaining what I needed to know. Which isn’t always the case when orders are made online.
The order was beautifully packaged and the customer service team have been nothing but friendly.
I highly recommend this company!!

I popped into the store near Covent Garden and was served by a very helpful female assistant who said she normally worked Paris. She didn’t pressure me into buying lots of products I didn’t need and the price of the ones I bought were very reasonable. I would recommend a visit.

No safety seal and reselling returned items
Ordered a bottle of face cleanser, which came without a safety seal. Horace confirmed they do resell returned items, which means a customer no way of knowing if the product has been tampered with or not. Didn't feel comfortable using it after that.

The Shampoo and conditioner really allowed my hair to grow I was using head and shoulders and it just rilled my hair with dandruff but thanks to your Anti-dandruff shampoo and dry conditioner I have never looked back since. Top quality stuff. I’ve got a lot of compliment saying how healthy my hair is and asking me what brand I use.

I ordered the cleansing duo, the Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide Serum and the day moisturiser. The process and delivery were great no issues there, cannot complain on that front.

However after using the products for 4 days I have experienced an acne breakout, something that I haven't had since my early 20s. I'm not sure what exactly my skin is reacting to but it's definitely one of the products as that is the only element I have changed this week. Its a shame as I was really hoping the products would work well and went a bit overboard ordering.

I bought Beard Shampoo + Oil from their website
I used Beard shampoo and oil, but there is a problem with the oil;
- First, I washed my beard,
- a little dry after that
- then apply 6-7 drops of beard oil,

For the first 1-2 hours, it smells nice (mint&Lemon), but after that (the rest of the day), unfortunately, it smells like heavy awful oil.
The Shampoo is almost the same as Bulldog's Beard shampoo;
Keep your expectations lower.

And they do not accept returns!!!

The site's design is straightforward with information being easy to locate. Ordering was simple and easy.

Shipping was less than a week from France to the USA and I was excited to try the products.

Horace's product packaging is beautiful with coordinating colors, a nice typeface and a thoughtful logo. The graphic designer in me can't help, but speak about it.

After a month of using the products, from the shampoo and conditioner, the face firming kit, and the cream pomade, I can say all the products are as good as the reviews say.

The scents of each item are subtle and not overpowering. The shampoo leaves my hair clean. The conditioner is really silky, when compared to the typical paste most conditioner's texture consists of. It rinses out easier than others, but still leaves my hair feeling soft.

The Face Firming kit is essential. I can tell a huge difference in how my skin looks. Do not skip this product.

The pomade cream is super smooth and doesn't gunk up your hair. Combined with the texturizing spray, your hair will look great all day.

Horace.co products and service are the best I've experienced so far and look forward to trying new products and refilling my current regimen. You can't go wrong with Horace.co.

After searching for some natural beard products for my sensitive skin I was led to Horace. I emailed them for advice and they were very helpful and offered help and advice. The products I purchased are really good and have no issues with my sensitive skin. The flavours are quite strong but not overpowering, and nice natural smells.
I would definitely recommend and will be using again.

I went to order this brand, because I have a very sensible skin. I have heard a lot of good reviews about this brand.
After talking with the salesperson about my issues, he gave me advices.
But finally, don't buy this brand when you have a sensible skin, I get red all the time, and my face skin is just awful now :'(

i have received a perfume that i couldn’t smell on me, and Theau, from the Customer Service, was kind enough to send me another one for free!
