NO GO with HostDime

I have been HostDime customer for over 12 years. From a customer oriented company, they have turned into a fully money-making company with no regards for their customers.

Their UK facility has been down for over 96 hours and there are no positive updates or clear timelines when the issue will be resolved and the services will be back online.

The only information that is coming up is they have a fallout with their DC operator. Apparently, a fallout cannot happen overnight and there is something more to it? May be unpaid bills by HostDime? Whereas HostDime demands advance payments for their services.

I do not think if I will continue or recommend HostDime after this experience.

HostDime's UK location is offline for 26 hours as of now

HostDime's UK location went offline on Wed Mar 18 2026 16:51:07 GMT and has been offline since. 26 hours as of now!

Neither ours nor their own IP space is announced at their UK location since the black out.

We have received no real information on what's wrong with the location.

Their replies have no meaning.

Example reply: "We continue to try to get updates from our vendor in the UK, and as soon as we have further information, we will make sure to update this ticket."

We have asked what is being done to resolve the problem and we got no meaningful reply.

We have asked if this was a network outage or anything else. They haven't even replied that with an answer.

Each of their reply is exactly the same just worded differently with no explanation, no ETA, no reason for outage, nothing.

We are waiting in the dark with no words to tell our customers since we don't know anything about the outage.

I've never seen such unprofessional behaviour from any of our providers. Even mom and pop shops would provide insight on an outage that's being going on for 26 hours.

Disgustingly bad company.

Their UK data centre has been offline for over 24 hours and counting.

There is zero communication on what is going on, what they're doing to fix and how long it is going to take.

Any reputable company would have been able to stand up an entire new network by now if things really were that bad. And they've have updated you on that progress.

Not these people.

Why claim redundancy when you clearly don't have any?

Superior Service

Nicholas provided superior customer service, which made for a resourceful experience and he was willing to go the extra mile. I give him an 12 out of 10 rating for excellent service.

Our experience was terrible

Our experience was terrible. At first, when they were just starting out, they provided good service and offered a lot of things. But after a year or so, things started going well, and problems started to arise. They raised prices without warning and the level of support got worse. I had a lot of problems with this company. I wouldn't return. Update: Hostdime's response is false. One of their servers was infected, and they took no responsibility. It was the only server where all the data was lost. That's why I switched my services. I contacted them later, and they still wrote that they weren't continuing. What a big lie on your part. The entire time I was with you, it was a headache. Can you also provide information about how many years I was with you? Because you aren't honest and you state the ticket amount and the number of years I was with you. If you were honest, you would call me. You have my phone number. I invite you to call me.

Update:

We were with you for over 10 years, several servers, now that I see the average ticket price was very low for all the years we were there and the number of servers we managed with you, and despite all this, you raised your prices, the quality of support was poor, and one server was encrypted when it was under your managed support.

I was with you for many years, and during all those years all those tickets were generated. Now, looking at the reality, I had several servers with you, which I gradually removed one by one. The last server had all the information encrypted, and the strange thing is that we managed the HostDime server from the same terminal where we managed the other servers. If our terminal had been hacked, then all the servers would have been hacked; however, you do not admit this.

And on the other hand, you know my email and my phone number. If you want to make the public believe that you are always willing to reconcile, why haven’t you called me until now? Why haven’t you written me an email until now?

Regarding your concerns with our pricing, I can assure you that increasing costs to our clients is not something we ever wished to do and we held off on any type of increases in licensing, hardware, etc. for over 5 years and absorbed those for our clients. We eventually had to make adjustments to our overall pricing and pass along licensing and payment processing costs to our clients which has become standard in todays business world and we do apologize if this negatively impacted your business.

As for Support, our team reviewed your account and you had over 5200 tickets that were handled, many of which for issues that fall out of our normal scope of support, and we always did our best to ensure your issues were resolved. Our team of System Admins tirelessly worked on your issues that in most cases should have been handled by your own support team and seldomly did we leave you without a thorough resolution. We understand that it is impossible to be perfect but our goal with each of your interactions was to always go above and beyond in getting your issues handled and if you felt that we fell short, we would have greatly appreciated that feedback in real time and not after you canceled your last service.

If you are willing to give us a chance to serve you and your clients again, please let us know and a member of our Client relations team will gladly work with you on the best possible price and will see to it that any lasting issues you have do get resolved. bad hosting services with frequent hacking of sites

i have had my server for years with hostdime, i have had more than 15 sites which hostdime say are sending malicious activity and my ip blacklisted severally and not helped, the company used to be good but for now the services are not good completely, their support not repliable as it used to be

Criminals

We have been with them for 11 years and all was OK until the las two years.
This year we had our site down for two weeks on one occasion then is went down completely. They claim RAID stack had failed and no way to recover the data because backup has failed as well. It is an impossible event.

We have been going up and had lots of traffic. I have strong suspicion they took money from the competition to shut us down.

We have already switched the host, but a huge, popular, unique technical data from the forum have been lost irreversibly

It is just a criminal organization. They should not be allowed to operate

Appears to support malicious activity

I used HostDime for licences a few years ago. For the purpose, they seemed to be okay. However, it appears now that they don't have their cPanel offerings, they accept money from criminals. Their network is rampant with malicious activity including (but not limited to) hacking, phishing, and spamming.

While nefarious users will always try to use legitimate service providers, HostDime fails to respond to abuse requests at all and allows malicious activity to continue even with evidence presented.

It is unfortunate to see a company that I once seen as reliable and responsible turn to allowing malicious actors to use their services for illegal purposes without any action. I hope they change their policy and start enforcing their terms of service at some point in the future.
