They are a SCAM SITE!

They presented the best rate on Google maps. I choose them. I went through the SMS verification, entered credit card and hit "Purchase". They came back and apologized that no room was available at that rate, but offered one for 10$ more. I did the same thing again. They popped up a screen and apologized that a room wasn't available for that rate. I quit their site. They charged my credit card for BOTH attempts!!! I know Chase will fix it but THEY ARE A SCAM SITE!!!!

USE ANOTHER RESERVATION SERVICE!!

USE ANOTHER RESERVATION SERVICE!!!

Beware, this hotel reservation service really sucks! I made a reservation through the Hotels In America website. When I got to the hotel of choice, they refused to rent me the room I had booked without an additional $250 security deposit paid (for some reason my credit card was not working that night, and the hotel would not take cash). So the hotel turned me away. When I contacted Hotels In America's corporate offices for a refund of my unused booking, they refused to refund what I had paid. They instead sent me on a wild goose chase, whereby I had to contact the hotel and ask them for proof that I had not used the reservation. In my opinion, it should not be up to me to have to contact the hotel -- Hotels In America should do that; they are the reservation service after all!

This whole situation was extremely frustrating. I will NEVER use Hotels In America again to book hotel reservations. I advise anyone else who wants to avoid a frustrating situation to also skip using Hotels In America, and use another reservation service instead!!! Save yourself the agony of a cut-rate cheap hotel reservation operation!

A completely Shady company

Used this website to book with a hotel that we use commonly on a whim, legitimately had a medical issue pop up the day we booked in actually went to the hotel told them what the issues were they refunded the money back to this website so we requested a refund and they've repeatedly denied the refund after saying they tried everything in their power but the hotel would not honor a refund which was a lie because we had the documentation and sent it to them and they just kept sending us form letters with the same rhetoric and even after speaking with a live person they just would repeat the same rhetoric saying the hotel was not refunding the money so they couldn't refund the money, this is broke me of using any third-party applications for any kind of booking, I will just go direct to wherever I'm staying from this point forward, these people need their business license pulled, if you use them good luck to you

I booked a reservation today

I booked a reservation today. Going to Boise ID for a wedding. I am 79 years old, so anything can go wrong. The wedding is This Friday so I wanted to stay 5/16 to 5/19. Unfortunately I put 5/23 to 5/26. When I called to change the date they said the reservation could not be changed. I told them I did not want my money back just change the date, they told me nothing can be done. All they said ws "Sorry, so sorry.

Scam site

Went through the entire process and provided all my personal info plus CC info only to be told at the last step the price I was promised was "sold out" but they'd offer me the room for an extra $50 instead. Glad I used a junk email address and one of my backup credit cards because I have a feeling this was all data collection.

Scam site. Trust your gut.

Went to check in to my reservation at the hotel, the hotel that matches my confirmation voucher from the company. Turns out, the company did not book me a room at this hotel-as opposed to what was listed in the confirmation voucher-and instead booked me a room at a different hotel way outside of town. The company made every step in the process more difficult; figuring out why I didn’t have a room at the correct hotel, where the mistake was, and has refused any paths toward rectifying the situation via a refund.

My daughter broke her arm

My daughter broke her arm. Couldn't play in her tournament. I reached out to them 1 week prior to our stay. They told me to get a cancelation from the hotel on company letterhead to obtain a refund. Called the hotel to get this document they don't do that because hotels in america needs to do the cancelation. There isn't anyway to get a refund even though they claim it is easy and doable. Avoid this company at all costs.
