I had a good experience with tgem

I’ve used them 2xs in the past 3 or 4 months. I didn’t have any issues. I paid through PayPal. I saved over $40 on my last stay. Can’t remember the exact amount on my first stay but it was enough to be willing to use them again.

This company sucks! Do not book through them. I submitted payment on their webpage and an error occurred for me to correct. I corrected error and then submitted payment. This cause two charges for a singular transaction.

When I reached out to their rep on a phone, I explained the situation, she hung up on me. Then I reached out via support email, after a couple days they finally responded saying that I wasn’t within their cancellation policy after I clarified this was a website technical error not a booking cancellation. They responded back three times with the same message.

Do not use. Don’t be fooled by the low price they find. Everything else is garbage.

Less than a star!!

Less than a star!!! They lie and take your money without a hotel stay! When I called that my dr had to cancel my out of town appointment they said with a dr letter I would be refunded. However I was emailed no it wasn’t approved 3 weeks later and lost almost $300 for a room so I could see a specialist 5 hrs from home. Now I won’t be able to rest when I go.

Double charged me for one room. Tried to get my money back and they say that refunds are against company policy. They double charged me for the same room and refused a refund? How can this company be allowed to operate? Total rip off and scam

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HOTELSINAMERICA!!!

I booked a room through Hotelsinamerica for a King size bed at the Comfort Inn Atlanta Airport and the reservation was for a double Queens size room. I spoke with three different representatives who were probably in the Philippines. I kept getting transferred to someone else just to be told I have to take pictures of the room and submit a refund online. Worse booking for a one-night stay in my life. Never again!

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. It was like talking to a broken record. I was locked out of my hotel due to my key not working and no one was at the front desk to help me. The manger said I need to contact Hotels of America since the reservation was made with them in order to receive a refund. The agent said the manager needs to issue the refund since the issue is with the key and not the reservation but the manager keeps giving me the runaround and the agent refused to give me any form of evidence in writing stating that the manager of the hotel should be held accountable. In other words, no one is willing to help me and I feel like I have been robbed because I paid for a facility that I was unable to access and had to sleep in my car with no access to a restroom or any of my belongings because it was locked in my room. It makes sense that the manager should be held accountable but my money was paid to Hotels of America, who will then pay the hotel. I am the direct customer of Hotels of America and they converse via a recorded line and is able to hold record of our conversation as evidence but not able to state in writing that they cannot be held accountable for the issue with the key and assist me in addressing the problem in order for me to have evidence when addressing the manager once again. Something feels extremely sketchy about it and I wouldn’t advise anyone to use this site unless it is absolutely necessary. When I asked to speak to the manager during the call, the agent said he is the one assigned to assist me but was absolutely no help what so ever and I don’t understand why it was necessary to say that when I asked to speak to the manager. It’s obvious that he was assigned to help me, the problem is that he was no help at all and told me that I do not need evidence when I explained that the manager of the hotel was saying there is nothing he can do since it was booked through a third party. In other words, they calmly allow their customers to be taken advantage of by their partner hotels as long as they receive their money.

If I could give this negative stars I…

If I could give this negative stars I would. This website scammed my friend out of 280 something dollars, and then refused to change the location to accommodate them. The bank and everything is monitoring their account so that they don't get scammed, honestly a company that was copyrighted in 2024 (you can see that on the bottom of their page) has to be a scam there's no way on earth that this is a legitimate business. I'm disappointed that they take peoples hard earned money. It's honestly disgusting I don't recommend this for anyone. Again if I could give this zero stars or negative I would.Just poor broke scammers trying to take money from strangers instead of working hard. F this. Go get sum money or something. Honestly totally disgusting.

A complete rip off and don't fool with this booking agency

I would give them 0 star if it were possible. I will never book through them again or advise anyone to not book with them as well. Don't waste you money or time fooling with this so called 3rd party affiliate! I cancel my rsvp upon showing up to the hotel because of poor room accommodations. They couldn't move me to another room because they claimed they were full. I call Hotel in America and sent them pictures of the room. I worked with the hotel manager on getting on partial refund. He granted it in documents I sent directly to Hotel in America. Was sent a email saying it could take up to 14 days to get a refund and they would do there best. After 15 days of no communication from them about an amendment, I emailed them. They finally responded that there partners denied me a partial refund even after the hotel manager at the place I book at approved a partial refund. I was ok being with being charged a one day cancelation fee but Hotel in America and its partners are a complete rip off and I also they knew all alone they were not going to honor the hotel manager partial refund to me. They didn't try to solve this issue. If the manager of the hotel approved a partial refund, then what is the problem. I paid 334.00 up from to Hotel in America booking site, manager of hotel approved a 208.00 refund! I got nothing in return from this 3rd party affiliation because according them there partners denied my refund! What partners 🤔 is my question if the hotel manager already approved a refund in document I sent them. Please never book with this 3rd party ever. One way or another, you will be screwed by them. horrible customer service!!!

horrible customer service!!!
At the time of my booking there were 2 options
2 double beds $69
With WiFi
With breakfast

Same room $70
With WiFi
Breakfast
And FREE CANCELLATION

So of course I purchase the option with free cancellation. Our trip situation changed and I needed to move my booking out by 1 week or cancel and order a new room. After talking in circles to the customer support they said I did not have the free cancellation and could not change dates.
Non refundable and non amendable.

Seriously so frustrated with them.
Fraudulent company scamming people out of what they purchased

Do not use them

Do not use them! I booked through Them for LaQuinta in Moline, IL. Checked in late. They said served until 11 am. Seeing it was late and we wanted to just crash, we didn’t realize all the problems with our room. The one wall had no electricity, the bathroom sink leaked all over the floor and the shower curtain had mold all over it. So disgustingly gross. Also, when we went down at 9am there was no food. They said they just cleaned it up. I don't think they even served food, as there was no breakfast smells. Another lie. After complaining to the front desk attendant, he understood our concern (so we thought-lies again). He then said they would reimburse us, but we had to go through Hotel in America. We have called both Hotel in America and LaQuinta about 10 times, both telling us what steps to take and here we still sit with no one helping us! All lies! What a waste of our time!! I jist want others not to suffer and think the hotel you would be staying at is nice. It's disgusting. Do not use with LanQuinta or Hotel in America! They both lie and don’t care about the safety or cleanliness of their rooms-just want to take your monies!

Just Avoid HotelsInAmerica

They never paid the hotel where we stayed, so the hotel charged for the room too. I am still in the process over a month later trying to get a refund from them, since they never sent money to the hotel. Just avoid them.

Absolutely deceptive pricing practices

Absolutely deceptive pricing practices! The advertised price was bait to get you to book. Then, the moment they charged my card, a message popped up saying the rooms were sold out at that price. It's a blatant attempt to force customers to pay a higher price. This is a scam, plain and simple. Beware of this misleading tactic they use to lure you in.
