It was not a simple procedure

It was not a simple procedure as on previous occasions when all i did was to call a direct dedicated telephone number and provide the fridge freezer details, including the machine reference number, I was told the machine warrantee was registered.
All The time I was being told why I should take out the Domestic & General breakdown cover. When I finally persuaded your employee that I really didn’t want the cover she said , when asked, that I wouldn’t be getting confirmation of the 1 year and 10 year warrantee.
All the time I was unsure whether I was dealing with Hotpoint or D & G.

Not really worth it.

The warranty doesn't seem worthy of 10years as it only covers some parts and no labour at all, and the call out fee is quite expensive just to see if the fault is under Warranty.

It was just a blatant upsell, rather than an easy registering of applicance. Having commissioned based staff dealing with it, is not a good experience.. couldn’t say no thank you enough times.

Fairly simple process

The process was simple but I didn't get a confirmation email after registering, then I was "timed out", and had to re-register. I did subsequently get a confirmation email, but would have expected some sort of reference/registration number to use if I needed to organise a repair.
