Welcome to House of Hobbies. We are a small business selling model railway, scale model and RC kits plus all the accessories, paints and tools you need to create your miniature worlds. We stock all of the normal UK brands and try to specialize in the European and US brands too so if you after something for your model railroad or a new addition to your fleet of kits then please do come inside and take a look. **We hit a huge growth patch late in 2023 which caused issues with our service levels and we are working hard to implement changes to prevent them happening again. Better to be honest and own the mistake than hide away** Please do look at our reviews both good and bad and remember that less than 5% of happy customers actually leave reviews but we certainly do make mistakes and naturally get flagged on here for them. I placed an order on 7th May 2024. Despite several emails, a letter,and phone calls,I am still waiting. No response whatsoever. Very disappointed. I've given up. I would not recommend this store.

Ordered 4 rolls of Tamyia masking tape at the beginning of June and still haven't received them. A very poor service from the retailer. Will not be using them again!

Very worried customer
I placed my order on May 1st and payment was taken on May 2nd. I have tried ringing to no avail, so have emailed. I got a blanket reply but still no goods.
3 emails later, no replies and 7 weeks later (more than 14 days!!) still no goods. I'm getting more than a little angry not to say concerned

I placed an order on 17th May
I placed an order on 17th May, 1 item showed as available and 1 as in stocks.
The pay pal option didn't show as available so payed by bank card. Waited the initial 2 week before emailing to ask for an update on my order as only received email to confirm order number and payment. I've had no reply, no one answers the phone. On the 3rd week after placing order I sent another email and still no reply. Avoid this seller there are now mounting negative reviews, my next step is to try get my money back via my bank as I've now had to order from a different seller to get the items I should have received by now from house of hobbies. Ppl have even gone to his shop on the days and times he is ment to be open to find it locked up.

Martin! I have repeatedly emailed and rang with no return of an answer. I got to the point where I google earthed your address and rang the aquatic shop a few door up , embarrassed as I was to ask the gentleman if you were still trading?, he answered that I was the fourth inquirer for this. He was very kind in forwarding my number and name which I received, probably a global email in your predicament. Which I accepted with open arms as a cry for help. At this time I gave you time to complete my order, I still now wait for my order as placed on the 1st of may. Contact me at your soonest please.
