If I could give zero star I would.
This is the worst company on internet I have ever shopped from.
Customer service is their 0 priorities as I have experienced myself.
I wanted to return product and send them 10 email to give me return label so I get my refund registered on system otherwise I know they will never give me my refund money and I will chasing them forever ONLY TO EMAIL as no phone number anywhere to be found.
Please stay away from bargain price cause it means nothing.
Money down the drain.

I ordered some pottery bowls

I ordered some pottery bowls, which after some delay arrived shattered. They arrived and they too arrived shattered. After that, I could not get any service at all. No reply to emails, (no number to telephone and no refund). Good prices but terrible service. I won't use them again.

Not answering emails

Ordered back at the beginning of the summer and received my item promptly. Excellent customer service as one item was damaged and they replaced and sent a new one. However, I have placed another order a while ago now and still haven’t received my order? I have emailed but haven’t received a response. Unsure what’s going on and would like someone to contact me to let me know

Worth Reading

One they have the money, houseuk.com has no way of contacting after purchase. The UK 0800 phone, online form or website does not work for returns!

Houseuk.com is a legitimate ozzy based website but the products it claims to sell i.e. cuisine::pro aka cuisinepro.co.uk is a fake website and manufacturer. These cuisine::pro products are actually made in Guangdong, China... with hefty price tag and with a major discount to fool people into thinking they got a quality product when in fact its a sales gimmick.

You have been warned

I recently ordered two pans from this company (when I say recently I mean months ago which in respect of this company clearly falls within their definition of recently) and rather foolishly I took at face value the hundreds of five star reviews they claim to have.

The pans duly arrived via the courier and as he carefully put the package on the step outside we exchanged a look of incredulity at the heap of cardboard and metal, held together by tape, which lay in front of us. He apologetically stated that there was a note on them explaining that that was the condition they received them in. Unfortunately this review site doesn’t have the facility for me to post a photograph but the tape the “package” was wrapped in was commercial tape bearing the following:-

My initial scepticism of this claim was proved to be unfounded when I realised that the larger of the two pans was simply to big for the box it arrived in so it had been forced in with the handle protruding through the corner of the now collapsed box and then wrapped in tape. I can only assume that the parcel was then used as a football during lunch break and kicked around the warehouse car park for an hour prior to posting.
Unsurprisingly the handle of the larger pan was flapping around like a balloon in the wind.
It was going back!
This is when your initial concerns about this company prove to be well founded. The return instructions was an A4 piece of paper that had clearly been photocopied as all the text was misaligned and the unmistakable shading of copying was present. There is no telephone number present on either the document or their website. They clearly do not want to talk to you.
You have to send an e mail requesting a returns authorisation, which is then ignored. You then send another informing them that the first one was ignored and you then receive a pro forma response that they are extremely busy and dealing with customers is taking considerably longer than usual. Presumably this must have been caused by all the happy and satisfied customers placing further orders because every review on their site is five stars!
Funny how you can’t post a review on there yourself🤔
There then followed three months of e-mail communication and unnecessary inconvenience whilst I waited for my refund. They simply delay everything in the hope you will go away.
On the plus side the three month saga did give me time to look at the glowing reviews on their site compared to those on here. Something somewhere is either not quite right or they must exist in a parallel universe because the two do not correlate.
779 reviews on their on their own web site of which 779 give them Five Stars !!!!
Trustpilot 81% of reviews give 1 star and I can only assume they give that because it’s the lowest you can give.
It seems this venture is owned by an Australian company Global retail brands who in April 2018 opened two stores in Oxford and Bracknell with immediate plans to open three more in Norwich, Sheffield and Bristol and then had future plans to open up to 75 retail stores around the UK employing around 1000 people according to their CEO.
Well you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men........
The store in Oxford closed without explanation and they actually have just the one store in Bracknell !!
This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever experienced. I can imagine many people simply giving up and putting it down to experience.
Just hope that what you order is as expected because otherwise you are in for a torrid time trying to sort it out.

DO NOT BUY. aRETURNS AND OTHER THINGS HAVE TO PAY FOR

I have recently brought £200 worth of items,wanted to return some items buy he contacted me saying I had to pay for the return delivery. Also all the sale items are fake. They said a small knife was 20 and was on sale for £3, but in reality the knife was £3 and they just changed the before price. The knife was £3 since day 1 and they never changed the price. It’s a scam. You think your buying something on sale but your not. Not happy with this company!!

Suggestions for those who hasn't received refund

I have recently left a review explaining how bad the customer service is as i haven't received my refund for over 2 months. So what i did, i went to their local shop (Bracknell) and explained my situation. There was a guy called Paul who told me to send him the email and he will do his best to help me....today morning (3 days later) i have received the refund. Huge thanks to Paul!!!

Worried me at the first.

My experience was a bit stressful but finished well.
I placed the order on Thursday and did not received any confirmation ...I emailed company but they did not replied on Friday money were taking of my bank account but yet no confirmation and only then I checked reviews.
I start calling my bank to recall transaction on Monday they ask me to call different department ...
Same day I received email confirmation and dispatch confirmation (press track your order and scroll down web page after message "this reference is not founded " right at the bottom there is information about shipping .
I thought I'll give few days for delivery and today I received email that item will be delivered today 🙌
And it was delivered today .
I was very worried after reading reviews but I received everything ! And really happy with quality !
Delivery took a week from the day I ordered . Ordered on Thursday delivered on Thursday!

S%#T bricks at first

Not going to lie, heart sunk when I read reviews after purchasing a 14pc cuisine pro knife set.

PayPal were charging £400 where as it was £55 through Openpay or credit/debit card. So I use my credit card and it came up with an error as though it didn’t go through, so I proceed with openpay.

Next day I found out that the e credit card one went through as I had 2 orders in place and it took the money. But both items arrived this morning after ordering 3 days ago. My own ignorance left me with 2 sets but i just sold a set to a friend. Items are quality and arrived quick, even though there’s a global pandemic.

Not sure why there’s a lot of negative reviews so I can’t speak for those people, but my experience was alright! I never leave reviews usually but I’d just thought I’d share a positive response.

Apauling service... waiting for 6 weeks for a refund!!

Have taken money from me for an item that then wasn't in stock. This was 14th April. Said it would take 10 days for a refund. I have email and Facebook's messaged and still no response.
Here we are 6 weeks later and still no refund.
Do not EVER use this company!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service. They received items back by 6th May 2020. I am still waiting for my refund. Told me they'd check the warehouse but nothing since! Good job I've gone through PayPal. Will no doubt get my refund that way.

do not buy from this company! I only gave them one star because you can not give no rating. Funny how you can not submit a review on their website because they are frauds. I ordered a wok on 27th April and still have not received it nor any correspondence from their company. I have tried to chase them five times and received nothing in return! Sadly I did not see the poor reviews until after I ordered. Clear their reviews on their website are all fake as you can not submit one and do not align with what is written here!

Purchased a set of knives and received a set of saucepans as a free offer. Within a month the saucepans started to fall apart. Tried contacting HouseUK with no reply. Finally in February received a reply of as these were part of a free offer there’s nothing you can do.
I emailed them again and received an email if we will send a returns label, But we no longer stock these items. Even though they are still on their website.
I am still waiting for the returns label in May. Unfortunately the pans got to a stage where they were literally crumbling in my hands. So unfortunately had to throw away.
This company has dragged this process out so long, Just to not refund/palace these items. AVOID,AVOID,AVOID!!!!!

Absolute scam. Been waiting over 3 weeks for a refund on items that never turned up. Their customer service is disgraceful. Constantly told that they will ‘keep me updated’ on the progress of my refund but they haven’t. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Case circulated to PayPal.
