I placed an order for a toy dishwasher that unfortunately went missing (unsure if it was before or after shipping) and i reached out to the Howleys to enquire.
Lisa responded and was really helpful, she managed to source the toy, arrange for super fast packing, dispatched it and it was delivered within two days of our discussions.
Cant recommend this business more highly. They really do look after their customers and i will definitely buy from them again.

UPDATE: Credit to Howley Toys - emailed as per their response and they have refunded me in full. Hence changing the review to 3 stars, knocking off two becuase of the issue, but they dealt with it well.

I ordered a Lay-Z Spa floor mat on the Debenhams website. I was not aware this would be fulfilled by a completely different company - Howleys Toys.

It arrived a few days later with no branded packaging just a tatty cardboard sleeve for shipping, and it absolutely stank. It looks old like it's been stored badly for a few years, and I wonder if it is used not new and has been used before and maybe returned? In any case, it has a terrible smell, and so I contacted Debenhams to reject the order and asked for a return and refund.

Debenhams replied saying that thet have referred this to their brand partner Howleys Toymaster for them to respond. Frankly, I had no idea that this order was being fulfilled by someone other than Debenhams, and I expect Debenhams to deal with this problem.

I should not have to wait for another third party's response. Also, looking at Howley Toymaster's Trustpilot reviews, 30% of their reviews are 1 star, with others saying they ordered from Debenhams website and had no idea they were actually buying from this third party.

I'm now going to place this transaction into dispute with my credit card company if Debenhams don't reply to my emails by tomorrow confirming a full refund and return at no cost to me, due to the condition this floor mat arrived in.

Fantastic shop with an outstanding LEGO selection—arguably the best I’ve seen outside of an official LEGO Store.

George was brilliant. He helped me choose between two LEGO Speed Champions cars, was extremely knowledgeable about the products, and took the time to help every customer in the store. His enthusiasm and customer service really stood out.

I ended up buying both sets, and I couldn’t be happier. George is a huge credit to the company. Highly recommended for any LEGO fan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful Toy and hobby shop in Bridport. Massive range of toys good range of lego for youngsters and adults. Has good hobby section with hornby railways trains and scenic accessories. Scaletric. Humbol and tainya paints. Warhammer models brushes and citadel paints. Big selection of board games and accessories. Lovelly staff. Perfect for holiday shopping. Really pleased we fojnd it and have one happy lego obsessed son.

I only ordered a small, low value item but it was sent to me really promptly and perfectly packaged. Great customer service

I ordered some Pokemon cards for my kids from Debenhams (from Howleys Toys) but they were “lost” by Evri sorting depot. Debenhams were not very helpful plus you can’t speak to an actual person.
I rang and spoke to James this morning and he was so friendly and helpful he resolved this so quickly, confirmed with Evri the cards were “lost” by them and said he would send them out tomorrow for me. I wish I spoke to James sooner and from now on I will order directly from Howleys Toys website rather than through a third party. Thank you James

Miss understood the posting and was expecting a collection when I only received one of I sent an email to complain about the listing and was pleasantly surprised to be told they would send me the collection FOC

Lovely and friendly staff very helpfull and polite

The staff in Toymaster Dorchester are always lovely and a pleasure to interact with.

On the other hand, prices for certain items (such as Pokemon TCG products) are now becoming silly and quite a lot above RRP... loyal customers may think about going elsewhere...
