I've had various Hozelock products over the years. Some lasted, others didn't but choices are made according to needs, space, convenience and cost.
Last year I bought a Tuffhose on Amazon after the extendable Superhose hose leaked after a short time. Previously, I'd had an 'X' hose which lasted years so maybe I was just unlucky.
I was a little miffed to discover the Tuffhose arrived with plastic connector sleeves, not metal as shown on the image, but I did expect it to last longer than the extendable. However, it leaked after 6 months.
Amazon closed the return window after one month but Hozelock were responsive to my email and have promised to replace the hose.
Meanwhile, I've bought the 1.5m connector hose to sit permanently on my tap for cleaning boots, pots etc and will just attach the new Tuffhose via the double male connector when I need the longer length.
Hopefully it will last longer being bagged up when not in use. If not, I may consider a compact reel hose.

The Hozelock Tuffhose hose that I had had for 18 months started to leak from the main hose. I contacted the Hozelock Customer Service team via their website and received a response from Tim within a couple of hours. Tim recognised the problem and offered me an alternative product which he has now arranged for despatch to my home. I am extremely happy with the level and speed of service I have received from Hozelock; indeed, I have contacted them in the past and received a similar high level of service and attention. I commend Tim and the Hozelock Customer Service Team for their exceptional customer service.

I contacted Hozelock when my pond pump (Easyclear 6000) completely packed up very near to one year old - their customer service manager (Chloe) was super impressive in reacting and nothing was too much trouble - and she has arranged within a day or two to send out a new one - exceptional service - cannot speak highly enough and would recommend Hozelock in future👍🙂

Hose had collapsed internally and so I contacted Customer service as it was still under warranty.
A few questions, screen shots and proof of purchase later, they agreed to send another hose.
Well done but what a shame the hose quality has deteriorated in the last few years.

We had a 30m hose that had a leak that we couldnt use anymore but was still within the 5 year warranty. I got in touch with the customer service team and Chloe who I dealt with was very helpful. Once I sent over a small video of the faulty hose amd proof of purchase she looked at the evidence and immediately setup an order and delivery for a direct replacement. Very happy. Fantastic service

I bought a Hozelock 15M expanding Hose a year ago. It comes with a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately it burst internally a couple of weeks ago, at 1 year old. I contacted Hozelock to enquire about a warranty replacement, and Tim took care of it very quickly, a replacement was in the post to me within 24 hours. cannot fault that!

I bought an autoreel hose several years ago and the rewind mechanism broke. I contacted customer services to see if it was repairable. I didn't expect it to be covered by a guarantee but hozelock offered to replace it with a new one. Chloe from customer services dealt with this and I am very impressed with the efficient response and delighted that hozelock are willing to replace the hose reel.
