Polite, friendly, knowledgeable staff who arrived on time after confirming by phone that they were twenty minutes out. Carefully moved a d replaced furniture in order to demonstrate riser recliner.

Thank you for all the excellant advice and care shown to me this morning. Fiona was very professional and helpful, making sure I was comfortable and taught me how to use and care for my new chair. This is the third time I have purchased from HSL, each time I have enjoyed the experience.

Julie and Andy were so patient, went at my slow pace,
Everything was fully demonstrated and explained.
I was very happy with their visit.

Fiona arrived on time in the van as promised. She had all the relevant information on hand and told us all we needed to know in a cheerful and friendly way. She could not have been more helpful and we are now hoping for a delivery of our order as soon as possible,

What a great experience visiting HSL Bathgate was, the staff was very friendly. Julie let us look at the reclining chairs and found the one we were looking for then Julie came and spoke to us about the chair. I think my mum is going to like it.

From first contact with knowledgeable and friendly staff at my local HSL showroom to ordering and ultimately receiving my new bed was a great experience. The quality of the furniture is excellent too. You are given a real phone number to call if you have any questions about your furniture which is actually answered by a person. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Thoughtful and thorough customer service during an unscheduled showroom visit to consider riser recliner for my elderly mother with complex needs. Julie in the Bathgate showroom was superb, backed by the Home Demonstration team booking a visit and then Karen from the Southampton team who brought the selected options and did the fitting. HSL were diligent, responsive and knowledgeable at every stage. Excellent customer service all round.

Busines was done professionally, efficiently and pleasantly from beginning to end. It was like welcoming a friend to your home. Fiona took me through all the facts I needed to know about the chairs they had brought and so decision making was easy. I didn't feel at all rushed or pressurised. I had bought HSL chairs before from the Edinburgh shop which is sadly closed now so I knew the quality was good. The experience there was equally good. An excellent firm to do business with.

First class service from the start to the end of Fiona’s visit to our house. Fiona our Comfort Specialist Andy the driver plus one other person arrived on time. All were very friendly and nothing was a bother. They brought 2 riser recliners a standard and a grand for us to try. We are now looking forward to the delivery of new chairs and sofa.

I accompanied David to purchase his new chair. The saleswoman was very informative and gave us time to look around the showroom. David was given the chair remote and tried out all the different positions in the rise and recliner chair. He was so comfortable he fell asleep while the paperwork was being prepared. He was advised that he would need the extra petite chair ( they only had petite in stock in the style he had picked) and the saleswoman brought a little ledge to put under his feet which made the chair the perfect height. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend HSL Bathgate to family and friends looking to purchase a good quality chair.

From the first phone call to John coming to our home can’t be faulted, we were not hurried or pressured into making a decision.

Staff friendly and helpful. Disappointed that the chair i had picked wasn't in the showroom for me to try. Also found out it wasn't in any of the shops in scotland or Ireland. Maybe shouldn't be in the brochure if not able to try it.

Home visit from Andy and colleague (can’t remember his name) who brought two different chairs for my husband to try. We felt very happy and confident to go ahead and order one of the chairs. Andy did a thorough check with my husband to make sure it was a good fit for him and explained everything to us clearly. I felt he had great product knowledge and gave us time to consider everything. it was good to hear someone speak so highly of their company and it gave us further confidence. We now look forward to the chair coming. Huge thank you to both men who worked very hard and couldn't have been more helpful.

Reference I49688. The home appointment was booked very soon after the request. Julie brought several chairs with her, but quickly identified the one which she thought would be most suitable. Her assessment was accurate. Julie was very pleasant, professional in her approach, and very knowledgeable about the product. We had previously purchased a chair from HSL & had a very high opinion of the company. Our experience on this occasion enhanced that.

The lady assistant who dealt with us was marvellous. It was worth the trip if only to meet her. She was also efficient, helpful and knowledgeable

Visited Bathgate shop on Saturday and was greeted by Fiona, I was looking for a stressless chair, ordered one but when I returned home my Husband did not like the chair or colour I picked, so phoned Head Office on the Monday to let them know that I wanted to change my order. Fiona sorted everything out and redone my order, not many places would have done that and Fiona was very patient and understanding.
